Ondo State BSF Holds ‘Transformation 2026’ Retreat, Draws Students Statewide
The Ondo State Baptist Students’ Fellowship (BSF) successfully held her Annual General Retreat tagged Transformation from Thursday, April 30th to Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, at Zion Baptist Church, Akure. The retreat commenced with a Workers’ Retreat on April 30th, followed by the main retreat which began on May 1st and ended on May 3rd. The program recorded the participation of Baptist students from various institutions across Ondo State.
The theme of the retreat was Beyond Measure, anchored on Ephesians 3:20, which emphasizes God’s ability to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. The theme was expounded through various sessions designed to inspire spiritual growth and transformation among participants.
Ministrations were delivered by seasoned and spirit-filled ministers, including Pastor Ademola Awoyele, Bro Ayomide Olatubi (Associate Coordinator, Ondo State BSF), and Mr Oluwatimilehin Joash (Zonal Coordinator, Western Zone 5, comprising Ondo, Ekiti, and Kogi States). Their teachings centered on faith, capacity building, and living a life that reflects God’s limitless power.
The retreat was honored by the presence of notable dignitaries, including the BSF National Coordinator, Rev’d Adesola Adeyemi; the ODSMAC Chairman, Rev’d Prof. Niyi Okunlola; Rev’d Oluwatosin Makinde; and Pastor Sam Neye, who ministered during the impartation service.
The program featured a variety of impactful activities such as Word ministrations, prayer sessions, thanksgiving, enlightening talks, and engaging quiz and oratory competitions. These activities contributed to both the spiritual and intellectual development of the participants.
In conclusion, the Ondo State BSF Annual Retreat 2026 was a great success, achieving its objective of fostering spiritual transformation and equipping participants to live beyond limitations. Attendees left the retreat spiritually renewed, empowered, and better positioned to fulfill their purpose in Christ.
