The So Great Salvation

"How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by those who heard him?" — Hebrews 2:3

The Great Salvation

The Lord Jesus Christ came to seek and save lost sinners. (Matthew 1:21; Luke 19:10)

This salvation is so great because:

- God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die on the cross of Calvary. (John 3:16)

- It cost God the death of His only Son.

"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly… But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." — Romans 5:6–8

The Precious Redemption

The redemption of our souls is precious.

"For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever..." — Psalm 49:8

Therefore, how shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation?

The Coming Judgment

The judgment of God is coming upon those who neglect His love, just as it came upon those in the days of Lot.

"Escape for thy life; look not behind thee… escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed." — Genesis 19:17

Friend, escape for your life!

How Can You Escape?

1. Acknowledge that you are a sinner.

(Romans 3:23; Psalm 32:5; Psalm 51:3)

2. Confess and repent from your sin.

(Proverbs 28:13; Isaiah 55:6–7; Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19; Acts 17:30; 1 John 1:9)

3. Believe the work of redemption. (John 3:16; Acts 20:21)**

4. Confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

(Romans 10:9–10)

5. Receive the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart. (John 1:12; Revelation 3:20)**

Your Invitation

Do not neglect this great salvation.

Today is the day of escape.

Receive Jesus Christ, and you will find peace now and eternal life forever.

Occupy Until He Comes: Don't Rest On Your Oars!

"Now Joshua was old and advanced in years; and the LORD said to him, “You are old and advanced in years, and there still remains very much land to be possessed. ”
Joshua 13:1

The Lord commands us to occupy till He comes. Lk. 19:12, 13. We should not rest on our oars when we have not seen Him. Yes, He is coming and will come, but He wants to meet us taking Kingdoms, nations, territories etc for Him. We should keep on having visions, dreams, desires for the promotion and prosperity of God's kingdom.

The day we stop dreaming, envisioning and working, maybe we think we have arrived that's the day we start dying spiritually and back sliding.

God told Joshua, "You are old and advanced in age but there are still territories to take." I our own case we are not old but agile in age and strength and think we have arrived. Paul the Apostles said he didn't see himself to have arrived but he was pressing on. Phil. 3:12 - 14.

As regards the believer’s inheritance in Christ, no matter how much he has claimed for himself there is still a very great deal to be claimed and enjoyed. We should never think we have attained everything attainable

"There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, except the Hivites who lived in Gibeon; all the others they captured in battle." Joshua 11:19
This verse is instructive and noteworthy for believers of today.
The bible says the enemies are for war! The enemy doesn't dialogue but fights. The only language he understands is war! You cannot take his territories by playing around but battles. Because from the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and only the violent take it by force.

Why God Harden Pharaoh
In the book of Exodus, the hardening of Pharaoh’s heart is mentioned. Sometimes Pharaoh hardened his own heart, at other times God hardened Pharaoh’s heart. God is the sovereign ruler of the universe and can do all things according to His own will (Rom 9:17-18; Eph 1:11). But God always has good reasons for doing what He does. He is not an arbitrary, capricious deity who merely wants to show His sovereignty. Several reasons may be suggested as to why He hardened Pharaoh’s heart.
First, Pharaoh was a godless, arrogant man who kept God’s people in bo***ge and treated them cruelly. When faced with God’s demands he hardened his own heart (Ex 8:15, 32; 9:17, 34). Hardening him further was God’s way of judging and punishing him (compare Ps 18:25-27). Pharaoh was not a good man whom God made bad by hardening. He was a bad man whose badness was further revealed by hardening. It is not written anywhere in the Bible that God ever hardened a humble man, or a man who wanted to know God and serve Him.
A second reason why God hardened Pharaoh was that God sought an occasion to work His wonders in Egypt so that His people would believe and know Him (Ex 4:5, 9; 6:7). It is very unlikely that they would have tried to leave Egypt if God had not revealed His power and love to them in a very striking way.
A third reason why God hardened Pharaoh was that He wanted His name (that is, His nature) to be known throughout the whole earth (Ex 9:16). This was not for His own good but for the good of humanity. The knowledge of God is the supreme knowledge men can gain. Indeed, eternal life consists in it (John 17:3). At different occasions God revealed different ones of His attributes – sometimes love, sometimes holiness, sometimes wisdom, etc. Here in Egypt He revealed His power, His severity toward the ungodly, and His mercy toward His people.
A fourth reason why God hardened Pharaoh was that He had decided to execute judgment on the gods of Egypt (Ex 12:12). He showe

Miracles That Disquiet People of the Earth
Proverbs 30:21 - 23

[21]For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear:
[22]For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat;
[23]For an odious woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.

Miracles are happenings that disquiet the people of the earth. Whenever people see and hear about miracles, they cannot do without spontaneously shout for joy and praise God. The bible says, "And there was great joy in the city."

Anything that happens in your life and doesn't cause shout of joy and praise to God is not a miracle. It is a miracle when a servant rules; a fool is fully fed; an odious, ugly woman finds a man to marry and when a handmaid becomes a heir to her mistress. When people of the earth hear and see that, they are disquieted and shout for joy and praise to God, because only God can do all that, for with God all things are possible!

I decree and declare that the happenings that will disquiet you and the people around you will happen in your life, ministry and family now in Jesus name. What will make you to shout for joy and praise God spontaneously will happen to you now in Jesus name. Whatever that looks impossible becomes possible in your life now in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Have a nice day and my regards to your family. God bless you. Amen.
