*A NEW RELATIONSHIP IN CHRIST*
_That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world_ : _But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ_ . Eph. 2:12-13

One of the benefits we have as progress in the journey of walking in the reality of new creation man is the fact we have a new relationship in Christ. When we made that decision and invited Jesus into your life, it is important to know, did God hear you? Yes. Jesus promised that He would enter our lives, if we ask Him. (Revelation 3:20). Jesus died on the cross for our sins, so that we could be in relationship with Him(John 3:16,36). He’s not indifferent to the issue. He went to great lengths to bring us into relationship with Him. *Jesus took our sins on Himself and covered us with His righteousness, making us fully forgiven and fully accepted by Him* .
We don’t have to first live good lives, or perform religious rituals, or spend years begging Him. God is the one who made it possible for us to have a relationship with Him. And we come to Him based on what He did for us, rather than what we can do. He paid for our sins, in order to forgive us and come into our lives. 1 Peter 3:18 says, When a person asks Jesus into their life, it is exciting to know what God says is now true about your relationship with God
When we place our faith in Jesus, wanting Him in our lives, *we become His child and forever can rest secure in His love* . The following Scripture will help you see what is now true of your relationship with Him. (Phil 3:12-13,John 15:1-10, Eph 2:12-13)
We did not earn a relationship with God, nor do we have to struggle to hold onto it. The Bible is clear about this. Once we placed our faith in Jesus Christ, we were accepted by God.
We are no longer in Adam, but we are in Christ. Because we are in Christ, we have a new standing before God. God sees us perfect in Christ.
Not only do we have a new standing before God, but we also have a new relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. This new relationship can be expressed in two short sentences:
As we look at the vine and its branches in John 15, we see that they are one. They share one life. The same life that flows through the vine also flows through the branches. This teaches us that we are one with the Lord Jesus. The scripture says, "He that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit." The very instant we receive the Lord Jesus as our Saviour, we are joined to Him. We are made part of Him. Just as the branches are joined to the vine, so we are joined to the Lord Jesus. We are one with Him.
As we look further again at the vine and its branches, we see something else. We see that the branch is in the vine. This teaches us that we are IN CHRIST. We have already learned this great truth—that we are in Christ—but now we see that our union with Him is a living union. As the branch is joined to the living vine, so we are joined to the living Lord Jesus Christ. We are in Christ.
We were not always in Christ. Before we became a child of God, we were in Adam. We were joined to him. We shared his life, and we had his nature in us.
To graft a branch means to take it out of one vine and join it to another vine. The branch is first cut away from the old vine. Then a cut is made in the new vine, and the branch is fitted into this cut place and securely bound. Soon the life of the new vine begins to flow through it, and the branch is joined to the new vine in a living union. Now we can see what a wonderful thing God did for us. When we were born again, God took us out of Adam and grafted us into Christ. The Bible says, "But of Him [God] you are in Christ Jesus…" (1Corinthians 1:30). We are now joined to the Lord Jesus Christ in a living union. *He is the new Vine, and we are living branches in Him* . *We share His life and we have His nature in us* . The Bible says that we are "partakers of the divine nature…"( 2 Peter 1:4). This is the reality that establishes your newness in Christ. I pray you will walk and operate in this understanding.
*SHALL WE PRAY* : Father, in the name of Jesus, cause me to consistently maintain a perfect relationship with you.

*BECOMING A NEW CREATIONAN MAN*
_Therefore if any man be in Christ_ , _he is a new creature: old things are passed away_ ; _behold, all things are become new._ 2 Corinthians 5:17

I remember the day we moved into our apartment. The building had just been built and we had the opportunity to be the first people to live in this brand-new apartment. It had never been occupied before. Not only were we the first occupants in the apartment we were among the very first people in the building. Everything was new and shiny because it had never been used before.
Whether it’s a new apartment, new house, new clothes, new anything, I think it is safe to say the overwhelming majority of people like things that are new. If you like new things, then you are going to love the verse we are looking at today.
Beloved, you are new creature man in Christ, you are have been bought with a new price and therefore old things are passed away. One of the popular passage in the scripture which has showed us that our sins are no longer remembered by God is the 2cor 5:17, in vs 21, the scripture said Jesus was made a sin that we might operate as the righteousness of God in him. A new creation does not toil with sins again, little lies must not found in your bosom why because Jesus has taken over your life.
To understand why being a new creation is so important, we need to understand that we aren’t born out of our own will, or reborn physically. We are reborn through the will of God(John1:13). All the old things about us have passed away. New creation man in Christ is the new recreated man by God, it is the man that has left the world of sin and has decided to serve God. The new creation man in Christ is one that has decided to choose Jesus to be his Lord and Saviour, one that has believed that God actually sent Jesus Christ into the world because of him so he can be saved.
Most importantly, is that the new creation man is someone that has confess Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Saviour, because there is something about confession, Confession is declaration, and when a man decide to declare Jesus Christ as the Lord of his life, instantly, there is a total transformation in that man, though sometimes the transformation might not be seen instantly; but there is a change that takes place in that man spiritually and physically for accepting Jesus Christ into his life.
Jesus Christ actually came into the world to produce the new creation man, a man that will choose to give his heart to God and then fear God, for this is the reason God sent him into the world to die for sins of the world so that a new specie of men will be recreated, men that would learn to only do good and then live their lives to the glory of God.
This was the reason Jesus Christ was sent into the world to pay the price of death, so that man can turn to righteousness, and so that the world can be free from sin because sin is the very thing that stops the power of God from operating in the world, it is what stops God from doing what he ought to do in the world, that is why Jesus Christ came to change the heart of men with his teachings and doctrines.
I pray the death and resurrection of Jesus will not go in vain in your life and my life in Jesus name. Amen
*SHALL WE PRAY* : Father, in the name of Jesus, help me to walk in the reality of your finished work in redemption in Jesus name
*MEDITATION* : John 3: 1:16
*SURE PROPHECY* : I decree into your life and destiny, the power that waste destiny will not catch up with you. You will arise and shine again in Jesus name

*THE GREAT SALVATION*
_How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him_ ; Hebrews 2:3KJV

What is the great salvation which God sent through his only begotten son to achieved for us? How do we access this salvation? From the scripture above, What had happened to the people to whom the book of Hebrews was written? They were gradually losing their faith in Christ, Indeed, they had already lost a much of their former conviction. Though they had plenty to believe in relation to God, as Paul shows us in this verse, their conviction was dissipating through neglect. They were not working out their salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12), they were losing their faith. Conviction is the opposite of superficiality. This does not mean a superficial person cannot be religious. Rather, he may appear religious outwardly, but in terms of a true, inward transformation of the heart, he is lacking, as seen in the absence of zeal in seeking change or in real application of righteousness. In Paul's judgment, the Hebrews had lost the internal certainty that what they believed was right, trustworthy, and so important that they should willingly give their lives to it. They were allowing other concerns like business, social, and entertainment matters too much time and attention. In the world, the forces of hostile skepticism are everywhere and constantly pressuring a Christian from every angle. The Hebrews' works showed that they were steadily retreating before that pressure.
This world is the Christian's largest, broadest field of battle, and nearly constant influences designed to drive a wedge into our carnality emanate from it. What happens if we neglect the right use of God's gift of faith? This showed us that a Christian does not immediately "lose it," but as he slowly spirals downward, spiritual life becomes merely an intellectual position to be held, not a striving after righteousness. God becomes merely an object of intellectual thought, not a motivation for change of behavior and attitude to imitate Him. Church attendance and religion become intellectualized but not experiential. That is how *Laodiceanism* (Rev. 3:14 -22) becomes a reality in a Christian's life. This is especially likely to occur when a Christian group is economically comfortable. God's gift of faith is intended by Him to be intellectual, practical, and motivational. This brings us back to the many examples Paul uses in Hebrews 11 to illustrate how faith is most profitably used. He provides an orderly arrangement of instruction from basic definitions and builds toward the more difficult principles.Beloved, the LO Lord God has no Pleasure in the Death of a Sinner: For as he is loving to every Man, he would have all Men to come to the Knowledge of the Truth and be saved (John 3:15). Therefore, as the Apostle observes in the Context, who ought to give the more earnest Heed to the Thing which we have heard, lest at any Time we should le• them slip; for if the Word spoken by Angels was steadfast, and every Transgression and Disobedience received a just Recompense of Reward; How shall we escape if we neglect so great Salvation? Which at the first began to be preached by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by them that heard him. Therefore, Paul shews us the magnitude of Excellency and Preciousness of the Redemption which is in and through our LORD JESUS CHRIST, who of GOD is made unto us Wisdom, and Righteousness, and Sanctification, and Redemption. With the heart you believe and with the mouth confession is made Romans 10:10. Confess Jesus today, don’t die without Jesus in your life, Invite Jesus into your life and you never regret you did that. Remain blessed

*SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name, help me to make right decision for you, confessing Jesus as my lord and Saviour.

*JESUS: THE GREAT HIGH PRIEST*
_Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews_ 4:14-15.

The only person in the Bible who was ever called a great high priest was Jesus Christ. *Jesus Christ as our High Priest is the most distinctive theme in the book of Hebrews.* *The priesthood of Jesus is central to the theology of Hebrews* . Everything that is discussed in this letter is developed around the theme of Jesus as High Priest. Because Jesus is our representative in heaven before the throne of God we must hold fast our confession. in Hebrews 4:14 is the word "great." In the person of Jesus Christ *we have a "great High Priest.* He is of par excellence. *He is unique in that He is megas literally* " _great priest_ ."

*It speaks of supreme dignity, excellency and all sufficiency of Jesus Christ.* *He is the greatest of all priests, no one can be lifted to comparison with His greatness.* The author of Hebrews is declaring that Jesus Christ is greater than Aaron and the levitical high priests because He is not the _one who entered the Holy of Holies only once a year and sprinkled blood to atone for his own sins and then those of the people._ Jesus is superior to all other priests. *Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people* (Hebrews 2:17). The scripture again speaks _Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession"_ (Hebrews 3:1).
*What makes Him so great is that He is the Son of God, appointed to be the High Priest, who has made propitiation for our sins and passed through the heavens and is interceding on our behalf at the throne of God.* As our Great High Priest nothing can hinder Him in accomplishing His eternal purpose on our behalf. What a great God and Savior?. Our great High Priest is the Son of God.
Our High Priest is infinitely great in His person and office. He has dignity and glory because He is the Son of God. He is without sin, separated to God the Father. Moreover, he is of the order of Melchizedek. He is High Priest and the Messiah. He was ordained a High Priest by an oath of God Himself( Matth 3:17; John 1-1-14). His sacrificial offering was without spot and blemish. *He knew no sin* . *His covenant, His administration, and His sacrifice are perfect* . It never has to be repeated. It was once and for all. This cannot be said of any man. The divine justice of God has been perfectly satisfied by Jesus Christ. His is an eternal perpetual office of priesthood. We can now come boldly before His throne of grace anytime, anywhere, and in any situation.( Heb 4:16). *Our great High Priest is further identified with both His title Son of God and His incarnate human name Jesus* . *This High Priest is Jesus, who is the Son of God.* This is Jesus who was born in a manger, died on the Roman cross, and rose bodily from the dead. It emphasizes His ministry, suffering, death, resurrection and ascension. He is the son of Mary and the Son of God. No, God did not have s*x with the virgin Mary to produce Jesus as some modern cults teach. Jesus is God incarnate, truly man and truly God.
He is the God-man. Therefore, He can identify with God and with man. No one else could possibly provide reconciliation between a holy God and radically depraved man. This is why we need a great High Priest.
"The wages of sin is death." Jesus went to the cross and paid in full our sin debt to the righteousness of God. Only someone without sin who is one with man could accomplish that for us. He became our representative and died in our place as our substitute sin offering. He took our place on the cross. "For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. . . But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:6, 8).
Beloved, Jesus, Jesus who has passed through the heavens and seated at the right hand of the Majesty on high" saying come (Heb. 1:3). At this point beloved, will you come boldly to Jesus and access true and genuine salvation. Don’t die without Jesus in your life, don’t let his death be wasted over your life
SHALL WE PRAY : Father, in the name, Help me to forsake the sinfulness of this world and cleave unto Jesus, help me to a righteous lifestyle and Holy life in Jesus name. Amen

*JESUS : THE BRIGHTNESS OF HIS GLORY*
_Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high_ ; Hebrews 1:3

The expression here, "brightness," or rather "effulgence," _is in harmony with all those numerous passages in which light is connected with the revelation of God in Christ Jesus_ .
The light which we see is but the expression of an invisible existence behind it. We speak of the rays of the sun; but what is the sun itself but condensed radiance? And so when we come to Jesus and. Think of the light streaming forth from him upon human ignorance, misery, and despair, we are reminded by the way in which he is here spoken of that Jesus is not to be considered by himself. By him the invisible is made visible.
*The love of the Father becomes a radiant* , communicable emotion in the incarnate life of the Son. All those bursts of intolerable light which filled the tabernacle were but symbols of that true light, the effulgence of the *Divine glory, which lighteth every man coming into the world, and* . which has dwelt among us in flesh as in a tabernacle.
*Blessed are those who can see this Divine effulgence, and discern the difference between it and the effulgence of other lights.* The dwellers in the immediate district where Jesus had been brought up never thought of explaining the wonders of his life by the fact that he was the ἀπαύγασμα of the Divine glory. Many thought it a sufficient explanation to say that he was Elijah, or Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.
Consider in connection the words of *Paul in 2 Corinthians* *4* .where he speaks of the god of this world blinding the minds of unbelievers, so that there should not shine unto them the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ who is the Image of God; and then he goes on to speak of how the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness has shined in our hearts, to illuminate them with the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

*IS THIS NOT THE CHRIST*
_Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ_ ? John 4:29

Jesus had met a woman beside a well in sycha of Samaria. A discussion on who owns the well of which Jesus askes her to *give him a drink* showed up between them, and Jesus revealed all that the woman has ever did, this woman who had five prior husbands, and was living in sin, this might well have been connected to many other men in town. In its own way, this might have been part of the motivation for some men to come and speak to Jesus (John 4:39). When she said Jesus knew everything in her past, it could have made some of the Samaritan men nervous. The Scripture itself doesn't specify. Regardless of motivations, the response to this woman's witness is impressive. The next few verses will describe many people meeting Jesus, and a door being opened for more evangelism. Yet again, this Samaritan woman shows her shrewd and clever mind. In Jesus' day, women were considered unreliable witnesses. Fair or not, the Samaritan woman knew that if she made any overt claims about Jesus, they'd be dismissed. In that culture, nobody would trust the word of a woman. So, just as she used clever tactics with Jesus (John 4:11, John 4:15, John 4:19–20), she uses them on the people of town. The way she asks her question, "Can this be the Christ?" is intended to be given a negative answer. She might have said it as, "This isn't the Messiah, is He?" By referring to Jesus' amazing knowledge, and suggesting the idea of the Promised One, she sparks curiosity. As a result, she brings many people to Christ, both physically (John 4:35), and in terms of salvation (John 4:41–42)
Beloved, from this story above, the Samaritan, although she might be an ardent sinner, to the point of sleeping with several men but her was a channel to the save others, Jesus utilises her life challenges as a channel to minister salvation to the entire city even the men of the city believed (John 4:39). Could Jesus trap your as a point of contact to minister to several people around. Could your life become point of preaching for the gospel. I pray that the lord grant us understanding in Jesus name.

SHALL WE PRAY : Father in the name of Jesus Christ, let my life become a channel not evangelism, thereby winning many to Christ

*THE WRATH OF GOD REVEALED*
_For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness_ ;
Rom 1:18(KVJ)

For over two whole chapters we find God building an irrefutable and airtight case against the sinfulness of all mankind. *God is offended with man because of sin, and the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all that we have said* . All we have done and all that we are. As fallen sinners we are all justly condemned by God and are worthy of His righteous and everlasting punishment, and for two whole chapters we discover God's blistering accusations against us to be righteous and faultless. Indeed we can come to no other conclusion than that we are all deserving of His punishment. *God's assessment of all men, whether Jew or Gentile, bond or free, male of female, moral or immoral, black or white, old or young, the pagan and the saved are all under sin* (Rom 3:23). We are not sinners because we sin but we sin because we are sinners and we suppress the truth that we have received from God Himself. The whole tenure of the early chapters of Romans is leading to the conclusion that all men are sinners and all need a Saviour for all have fallen short of the glory of God and His righteous requirements and this designates all to be under God's wrath. We may not have committed the same sins as others, but we all fail God's standard. We all are inherently sinful and so all men are condemned under the same godly standard for, ALL are under sin (Rom 3:23; 24-26)
As believers we are astonished to discover that it is not the Law of Moses nor even the Word of God that pronounces men as sinners in this passage, for not all people have had access to God's written word and yet from Adam onward we discover that all are under God's condemnation, because men love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil. (John 3: 1-36).
SHALL WE PRAY: Father in the name of Jesus, let your love be liberate me from every wrath in Jesus.

*THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD REVEALED*
_For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith_ : _as it is written, The just shall live by faith._ Romans 1:17(KJV

The righteousness of God stands in stark contrast with the sinfulness of man and describes God's holy and just character, which always dispenses that which is consistent with each of His other perfect attributes. *God could never forgive sinful man his trespasses and sins in a way that would compromise His own perfect character, and the wages of sin is eternal death to all who fall short of His unsurpassed righteousness* . But God in His love and grace gave His only begotten Son, to be born into the human race, so that His sinless life would become the one and only payment to fully and finally satisfy the righteous requirements of God's perfect Law. God's righteous judgement on sin was secured at the Cross of Christ's, purchasing forgiveness of sin to all who believe. The glorious Gospel of Christ reveals the uncompromised righteousness of God, which is based on faith - believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for our sins according to the Scriptures. *Believe that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures* ( 2Cor 15:1-6; Rom 10: 9-10). The truth of the glorious gospel of God and His perfect plan to reconcile man back to Himself, without compromising His holy character, reveals God's perfect yet uncompromised righteousness, and it is all by grace through faith in Christ Jesus our Lord. The first step of faith is to BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. But God's righteousness is further revealed from faith to faith, for God is faithful to carry out the good work that He started in each of His redeemed children. But foundational faith in Christ's sacrificial death needs to continue into a life that is lived by faith, for as we grow in grace and mature in the faith we move from one degree of faith to another measure of faith. We are SAVED by faith Rom 3: 24-26), We called to LIVE by faith Gal 2:16, 20), and instructed to keep on living by faith, knowing that He who started a good work in us will be faithful to complete it in the day of Christ Jesus. We are justified by faith, sanctified by faith and one day we will be glorified, when we shall SEE Him as He is. That is the time when faith will be rewarded by sight.

*THE SON OF MAN BE GLORIFIED.*
_And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified_ . John 12:23(KJV)

Jesus begin to speak in paradoxes and contrast concerning his death, resurrection and ascension. *_This passage chronicles the winding down of Jesus public ministry*_ . *Jesus talks about his death, which he refers to as being glorified and lifted up and has a final exchange with the Jewish leaders who are intent on discrediting and killing him.* Being glorified (doxazō) seems like a strange way to describe one's death, but we see this idea in the great Suffering as prophesied by prophet Isaiah, ''See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted'' (Isaiah 52:13). *Jesus seems to use being glorified to refer to his death, resurrection, and ascension* . Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified (doxazō). (John 7:39b). *Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that they had done these things to him* . (John 12:16b). Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus glory and spoke about him. (John 12:41). To the men on the road to Emmaus, Jesus explained the Scriptures and then said, Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter his glory? (Luke 24:26). It's like us humans to think that suffering and pain are bad, and ease is good. But when do we learn the most. When do we make the greatest strides forward. When we're really struggling. We look back at some of those times and marvel how God has helped us.
It's in the afflictions that God's glory shines its brightest (Rom 8:18-19). When a lame man walks. When a man born blind sees, the dead raised back to life, with all these, It's at times like that the Jesus glory peeks out for all to see. And on dark day of the cross, when Jesus says, It is finished, and breathes his last, his glory blazes out once more as the power of Satan and sin are broken, sin is atoned, and men and women are set free. Beloved, Jesus is coming to appear in glory again to glorify his own saints on the last day of our glorification. Will you and I be raptures on the last day. Shalom!!!

*SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name of Jesus, help me by your mercy to be glorified with you when you appear again in glory.
