22nd July - A Sacred Memorial of His Glorious Transition

"Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace." - Psalm 37:37

Today, 22nd July, the banners of Zion are lowered in solemn remembrance as the Church honours the glorious transition of St. Isaiah Jemine (1909 - 2014) - the revered King of Zion II, Miyenkirigbolowei I of Zion Mission, and Founder of Bolowou Zion.

Born in 1909, he dedicated his life to the service of Almighty God and became one of the greatest custodians of the Zion heritage. Following the divine establishment of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Zion by St. Elisha Lene (Ilene) Ogunfeyimi in 1948, St. Isaiah Jemine faithfully upheld the sacred vision of holiness, prayer, evangelism, righteousness, and unwavering devotion to Jesus Christ.

Through divine grace, he established Bolowou Zion, which became a spiritual sanctuary where countless souls encountered God's power, healing, restoration and salvation. His life reflected humility, discipline, sacrificial leadership and unwavering faith. He taught not merely with words, but through a life wholly devoted to God's kingdom.

On 22nd July 2014, after 105 remarkable years of God's abundant grace, this great servant of the Most High completed his earthly assignment and entered into eternal glory. Though his departure brought sorrow to Zion, heaven rejoiced to receive a faithful labourer whose works continue to speak.

Today marks another anniversary of that sacred transition. We do not merely mourn his departure; we celebrate a life of extraordinary impact. His prayers still inspire us. His teachings still guide us. His vision still unites us. His legacy still strengthens the Church of Zion across generations.

As sons and daughters of Zion, may we remain faithful to the divine commission handed down from St. Elisha Lene and faithfully preserved by St. Isaiah Jemine through the incumbent His Spiritual Majesty, Rt. Rev. Dr. Epistle Princewill Jemine (JP+). May the altar of prayer never grow cold, the banner of holiness never fall, and the light of Zion continue to shine throughout the world until Christ returns.

Sleep on, our beloved King of Zion II.
Sleep on, faithful shepherd of God's flock.
Sleep on, father of Bolowou Zion.

Your crown is glorious.
Your labour is immortal.
Your legacy is everlasting.
Your memory shall remain blessed from generation to generation.
