FLESH, GIVE AWAY
Mark 7:1-16
[1]Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.
[2]And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
[3]For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
[4]And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.
[5]Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
[6]He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
[7]Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
[8]For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
[9]And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
[10]For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
[11]But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
[12]And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
[13]Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
[14]And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:
[15]There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
[16]If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
One of the things that first reveal flesh is what I called "Fault Founder" The starting point of the manifestation of flesh is to make sure he found a fault in others then it multiplies from that standpoint
John 14:30
[30]Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
Acts 10:9-16
[9]On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
[10]And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
[11]And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
[12]Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
[13]And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
[14]But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
[15]And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
[16]This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
What God was telling peter was that don't allow flesh to dominate you to hinder my work through you
WHAT IS FLESH
Romans 8:1-5
[1]There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[2]For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
[3]For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
[4]That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[5]For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
FLESH: Flesh is anything that cannot subject itself under the controlling or ruling of God in other to please God and not Man.
Flesh is the carrier of the law of sin which endpoint is death
Romans 7:5
[5]For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
Flesh is anything that describe a physical movement or phenomenon without it's root from spiritual realm that belongs to God and these can has to do with traditional of men.
Flesh is anything that teaches for doctrine the commandment of men.
Isaiah 29:13
[13]Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
A man is not destroyed with what he takes in but from abundance of the heart if it's evil then he can be destroyed.
HOW TO OVERCOME FLESH
1. Accepting Christ and walk after the spirit
Romans 8:1
[1]There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2. Renewing of your mind through the world of God
Ephesians 4:21-23
[21]If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
[22]That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
[23]And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
3. Living in holiness
Ephesians 4:24
[24]And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
4. Death to self and be Alive in spirit always
5. Learning His ways and walking on them
6. Fasting and prayer
Therefore as a child of God we really need to work with God in spirit and not in flesh as the bible as earlier recorded it that " But the hour cometh, and now is, when the truth worshipper shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeketh such worshipper to him. John 4:23
