TOPIC:
ARE YOU INVOLVED IN GOD'S MISSION?

MEMORISE

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

READ:
Matthew 28:18-20

[18]. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

[19]. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

[20]. teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

EXPOSITION

The Bible is not just a collection of stories, it is the grand narrative of God's mission to redeem the world. From Genesis to Revelation, we see God's relentless pursuit to save and restore humanity. This mission is His heartbeat, and as His children, we are called to be part of it. Jesus' final command to His disciples is clear: _Go and make disciples of all nations_ (Matt 28:19). This is not a suggestion but a mandate. Every Christian is mandated to join in God's mission, not as spectators but active participants.

God's mission is global, yet it starts in our local communities. As the hands and feet of Jesus, the Church equips believers for this mission. As Christ's disciples, we are called not only to follow Him but also to lead others into the same transformative relationship. The mission requires deliberate effort -- investing in others, sharing the love of Christ, and guiding them to become disciples. The world is broken and desperate for hope. Are you involved? Every church and Christian must embrace this mission wholeheartedly.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord, give me a heart for the lost and a passion to make disciples in all areas of my life.

2. Father, help me embrace Your call and actively spread the Gospel.

3. Lord, I pray for the Church worldwide, that we may rise in boldness and fulfil Your Great Commission.

SUGGESTED HYMN FOR TODAY:

6 6 6 6 8 8

1. Blow ye the trumpet blow!
The gladly solemn sound
Let all the nations know,
To earth's remotest bound,
The year of jubilee is come!
Return, ye ransomed sinners, home.

2. Extol the Lamb of God,
The all-atoning Lamb;
Redemption by His blood
Throughout the world proclaim.

3. Ye, who have sold for nought
Your heritage above,
Receive it back unbought,
The gift of Jesus' love

4. Jesus our great High Priest,
Has full atonement made;
Ye weary spirits, rest;
Ye mournful souls, be glad.

5. Hearts that are weary, come
Rest on the Saviour's breast
Disconsolate heart, come
Be cheerful and rejoice.

Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE

TOPIC:
EVERY CHRISTIAN A MINISTER, EVERY WORKPLACE A PLATFORM

MEMORISE

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters (Colossians 3: 23).

READ:
Colossians 3:16-23

[16]. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

[17]. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

[18]. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

[19]. Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.

[20]. Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.

[21]. Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.

[22]. Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.

[23]. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,

EXPOSITION

Imagine if every Christian saw their workplace not just as a job, but as a divine platform. What if your office desk, classroom podium, or shop counter became your pulpit? You are more than an employee: you are a minister on a mission. Every task, every interaction, is an opportunity to shine God's light. When we approach our work with purpose and a heart to serve, ordinary moments become extraordinary opportunities for God's work. Your kindness in the office, patience with clients, and dedication to excellence all reflect Christ's love. This is not just about doing your job well; it is about turning your work into a platform for advancing His Kingdom.

Every workplace can become a stage for ministry when we view it through God's eyes. Your job is no longer just a means to an end, but a calling. The conversations, integrity, and compassion you show are seeds of transformation in those around you. Christians are called to stand out, living out our faith boldly. See your workplace as God's platform and turn every task into a mission field.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord, help me see my workplace as a mission field, where I can serve You.

2. Father, strengthen my commitment to excellence, that I may honour You in all I do.

3. Pray for more of God's power and presence in CAC Hanson Region, in the life of our father, the Regional Superintendent, other officers and members at various levels, in Jesus' name.

SUGGESTED HYMN FOR TODAY:
CACGHB: 424

L M

1. The heathen perish; day by day,
Thousands on thousands pass away!
O Christians, to their rescue fly;
Preach Jesus to them ere they die.

2. Wealth, labour, talents, freely give,
Yea, life itself, that they may live;
What hath your Saviour done for you!
And what for Him will ye not do!

3. Thou Spirit of the Lord, go forth,
Call in the south, wake up the north;
In every clime, from sun to sun,
Gather God's children into one.

Amen.

TOPIC:
WITNESSING THROUGH EVERY RELATIONSHIP

MEMORISE

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14).

READ:
John 1:40-42

[40]. One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.

[41]. He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ).

[42]. And he brought him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, “You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” (which is translated, A Stone).

EXPOSITION

Relational evangelism is about using every relationship we have to share Christ's light. It involves being intentional and strategic in using the influence we already carry to witness Jesus. Andrew showed this when, after meeting Christ, he immediately brought his brother Peter to Him (Jn. 1:40-42). Through their relationship, Peter encountered Jesus and we know the powerful impact he had on the world.

As Christians, we are called to be witnesses of Christ in every area of life. The relationships we form -- family, friends, colleagues, neighbours -- are divine opportunities for evangelism. These are not mere accidents. Every conversation or interaction can be a chance to plant seeds of the Gospel. Jesus modelled this with the Samaritan woman at the well, using a simple conversation to reveal Himself as the Messiah (Jn. 4:7-26).

To be effective in relational evangelism, we must first live as witnesses. Our lives should reflect Christ in word, deed, and attitude. When people see His light in us, they will be drawn to it. So, be bold, intentional, and sensitive to the Holy Spirit's promptings to share Christ's love.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord, help me reflect Your light in my relationships, so others see Christ through me.

2. Father, give me courage to share Your love and truth with those around me.

3. Pray for our Church Fathers, for more grace to lead the Church to greater height, in Jesus' name.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE

DATE:

TOPIC:
THE POWER OF AN EXCELLENT SPIRIT

MEMORISE

Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm (Daniel 6:3).

READ:
Daniel 5:5-13

[5]. In the same hour the fingers of a man’s hand appeared and wrote opposite the lampstand on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace; and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.

[6]. Then the king’s countenance changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his hips were loosened and his knees knocked against each other.

[7]. The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. The king spoke, saying to the wise men of Babylon, “Whoever reads this writing, and tells me its interpretation, shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around his neck; and he shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.”

[8]. Now all the king’s wise men came, but they could not read the writing, or make known to the king its interpretation.

[9]. Then King Belshazzar was greatly troubled, his countenance was changed, and his lords were astonished.

[10]. The queen, because of the words of the king and his lords, came to the banquet hall. The queen spoke, saying, “O king, live forever! Do not let your thoughts trouble you, nor let your countenance change.

[11]. There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father—your father the king—made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers.

[12]. Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting dreams, solving riddles, and explaining enigmas were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar, now let Daniel be called, and he will give the interpretation.”

[13]. Then Daniel was brought in before the king. The king spoke, and said to Daniel, “Are you that Daniel who is one of the captives from Judah, whom my father the king brought from Judah?

EXPOSITION

Excellence is God's very nature. Everything He does reflects perfection, beauty, and order. As His children, we are called to reflect this same spirit of excellence, just as Daniel and his friends did in Babylon. Daniel stood out because of the excellent spirit in him. This excellence was not only in his skill but also in his character, integrity, and devotion to God. His excellent spirit influenced an entire kingdom, advancing God's rule in a foreign land.

Excellence isn't optional for believers, it is our calling. It sets us apart in a world that often accepts less. As Christians, we must embrace excellence in everything we do. Mediocrity has no place in God's Kingdom. Whether in our careers, relationships, or service, we must aim to reflect God's best. Excellence glorifies God and draws others to Him. However, it requires discipline, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of God's best. It is a lifestyle -- a commitment to honouring God in all we do. When we embrace excellence, we position ourselves to influence and transform the world around us.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord, fill me with an excellent spirit in all I do, reflecting Your perfection and glorifying Your name.

2. Father, help me improve my character, integrity, and devotion to You, like Daniel did.

3. Lord, I pray for believers, that they may embrace excellence and influence the world for Your Kingdom.

SUGGESTED HYMN FOR TODAY:
CACGHB: 803

C M

1. God doth see all the work we do
They are not hid from Him
And all the thoughts down deep within
Are all well known to Him.

2. We cannot hide our sins from Him
He knows them every one,
We lie and we deceive ourselves
If we think He knows not.

3. All things are manifest to Him
With Whom we have to do,
Both night and day, darkness and light
Are the same in His sight.

4. O God, let us remember that
Your eyes are e'er on us
And help us, Lord, always to fear
Not to sin against Thee.

Amen.
