Topic: The Comforter Is With Me
Text: John 14:15-18
Preacher: Pastor Obajaiye
Date: Sunday, 26th July, 2026

*Basic of the Comforter*
1. The comforter is the holy spirit.
2. The comforter dwells in us. John 14:16-17
3. The comforter is an advocate.
4. The comforter is the third in Trinity.
5. The comforter is a counselor.
6. The comforter strengthen us when we are weak.

*Reason why Jesus sent the comforter*

1. The comforter is a teacher that teaches all things.
2. The comforter presence is with us at all times. That is, as a believer you're not walking alone; even in loneliness, God is with you.
3. Another reason why Jesus sent the comforter is that, he teaches us the teachings of Christ and spirit.
4. To convince us from sin and this lead to genuine repentance. And in doing this, the Holy spirit warn us of the coming judgement.
5. The comforter helps us to be empowered.
6. The comforter helps us so that we will be able to pray.
7. The comforter helps us to produce godly character.
