Transfer season in the body of Christ 😊

Every football club seeks to improve its lot by engaging ,buying and selling during what’s called “transfer season or market “

Here ,either through agents or scouts or its coaches or directly via its directors ,they seek to strengthen their squad by buying available players raised and trained elsewhere.

Maybe a striker or midfielder or defender or goal keeper .

You woo such players with offers .

Money ,Money ,comfort etc .

Yet most players and their skills are honed at a football academy who get the players young and train them raw.
Almost all clubs have such .

The unnoticed, uncelebrated academy.

The patience to train has been overtaken by the allure to quickly get results .
So they usually abandon such academy products for ready made players .

Now , some actually run churches this way .

They look to poach well trained men from other churches .

They find the .

Impressionable or

The gullible or

The Greedy .

Or dissatisfied .

Or disgruntled ,

“Unfulfilled “.

Woo and toast them with

“A better option or alternative “

Unlike football,this transfer Market is all year long .

And can be heightened when their seems to be an issue in public discourse.

The scouts ( pastors) now use social media methods of “influencers “, by creating contents to

“Defend the faith or free believers from bo***ge or seek to make them think “

Same of same .😊

You are a scout !

Jesus sent us to RAISE and NOT recruit disciples

Training disciples isn’t poaching people inbox or through articles aggressively to market your “insight “ claiming to love the body of Christ yet to “de market” other churches.

If you truly seek such love ,

We would find you on the evangelism fields

Laborers are few .

Raise them !

Using worldly Methods is ungodly and might just grant artificial relief .

Focus on

Evangelism and discipleship

Not trying to “retrain the already trained “

Except if it’s like Paul warned in Galatia

Galatians 4:17-Those other people show a deep interest in you, but their intentions are not good. All they want is to separate you from me, so that you will have the same interest in them as they have in you.

These abound on social media.

Dear believer,You will do well to avoid such scouts.

No matter the guise they appear with.

Be discipled and avoid recruitment

It's a time to receive much more from the Spirit of God through His word.

As the name implies, it's a Bible seminar, which means the meeting is a Bible teaching meeting.

Quality hours will be dedicated to explaining the scriptures comprehensively and exegetically.
