*THE SILENCE THAT SHOUTED: A HEAVY QUESTION FOR OUR GENERATION*
_Luke 4:5-7
The silence of Jesus in the face of Satan’s claim is deafening. a threat to Some Christian faithful
Satan stood on the high mountain and declared: _“All this authority and splendor has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want. Worship me, and it will all be yours.”_ Luke 4:6-7
Notice what Jesus did not do.
He did not debate ownership or dispute the claim.
He did not argue theology with the devil over who controls wealth, fame, or power. You know the answer.!
*His answer was not about power,Fame or wealth It was about worship only..*
_“It is written: Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.”_ Luke 4:8
So here is the burden that should keep every believer awake:
*If we insist that all Satan’s promises are lies… then why is the world still in his queue?*
Why are multitudes patronizing him?
Why are pulpits silent where he is trading?
Why are many believers negotiating at his mountain, hoping to collect the kingdoms without bowing?
If the offer was empty, why are the altars so crowded?
If the wealth is fake, why are so many selling their dignity to buy it?
If the fame is vanity, why is the Church chasing relevance more than righteousness?
*Jesus’ silence exposes us.*
He refused to bargain with hell, even for a legitimate assignment.
He chose the Cross over the crown. Obedience over opportunity. God over glory.
*The piercing question remains:*
If Satan is a liar, why do so many still believe his brochure?
And if Jesus is Lord, why do so few still believe His path?
_“Worship God alone.”_
That is still the only answer. And the only way out.
