Today we begin the Lenten season with Ash Wednesday a time of repentance, reflection, and renewal.
As we receive the ashes, we are reminded:
“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” (Book of Genesis 3:19)
This day calls us to return to God with sincere hearts. Through prayer, fasting, and giving, may we grow closer to Him and prepare for the joy of Easter.
Lord, create in us clean hearts and renew our spirit.
