A Christmas Message from Tekoa Church of the Lord

Beloved Church Family,

In this holy season, we pause to reflect on the miracle of Emmanuel—God with us. The birth of Jesus in a humble manger is our everlasting hope and the radiant proof of God’s boundless love. This truth is the very heartbeat of our calling.

This year, we have witnessed remarkable strides toward our vision: that every person on Earth would have an authentic understanding that the Old Testament and new testament are in harmony to create new man in Jesus Christ through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit , through your faithful partnership, our joint efforts—spanning continents, generations, and movements—wil continue to have a powerful impact ! Our prayers are being heard! In this Christmas season Gid us with us. Empowered by the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, let us move forward as vessels of His presence.

May His peace fill your homes, His joy overflow your hearts, and His glory shine brightly through your lives in the coming year.

Thank you for standing with us in this great mission. Together, by His grace, we are spreading the hope of the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Passover was about the windows of Heaven being opened and the light of His glory shining through—there was revelation and restoration poured out at the Father’s table.

Shavuot is a time to receive the fullness of the promises released during Passover. It is a time to receive the divine instruction, the refining fire you need to move into alignment with His Word.

MYSTERIES ABOUT GOOD FRIDAY

An Invitation to Reflect on the Depths of Redemption

Good Friday, the day Jesus was crucified, is steeped in mystery and glory. Beyond the surface of suffering, it reveals heaven’s plan of salvation, divine justice, and unfathomable love. Below are powerful categories of mysteries associated with this sacred day:

I. The Crucifixion Mysteries

1. The Sacrifice of the Innocent Lamb
Jesus, though sinless, suffered and died in place of sinners—a divine exchange for our redemption. (Isaiah 53)
2. Darkness and Earthquake
The earth itself responded to His death (Matthew 27:45, 51). This cosmic reaction speaks of divine judgment and creation mourning its Creator.

II. Theological Mysteries

1. Substitutionary Atonement
The innocent died for the guilty. Christ bore what we deserved—a mystery that humbles human understanding.
2. Justice Meets Mercy

VI. Final Reflection: Did Jesus Really Die on Friday and Rise on Sunday?

John 19:31 notes it was the Preparation Day, meaning the day before a High Sabbath. This opens a mystery about the timing of Jesus’ death and resurrection, which scholars still explore. Whether Friday or Thursday, the truth is: He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day—just as He said.
