Bishop Kolawole Gideon Onaolapo was born on July 27, 1957 in Erin-Ile, Kwara State, Nigeria. He received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age in Zaria, Northern Nigeria in 1974. He received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1976 and preached the Gospel with great passion while he was a student at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He graduated with Bachelor’s Degree (Hons.) While

several of his contemporaries were busy looking for jobs after graduation, Bishop Kola Onaolapo pursued his God-given vision of Ministry work. In conjunction with the Holy Spirit, He started Abundant Life Gospel Ministry at Bishop Smith’s Memorial Primary school, Ilorin, Nigeria. With a fresh message on the doctrine of the Holy Spirit , Abundant Life Gospel Church became one of the fastest growing Pentecostal Churches in Ilorin and its environs, with a large number of people accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour. Other branch Churches were soon established in the region in response to the aspiration of the people. As at 2012 Abundant Life Churches has 14 branches all over Nigeria. Bishop Kola later moved to Lagos, Nigeria to plant another Church in October 1991. As an Evangelist to the core, he believed in grass root, one-on-one soul winning. He fulfilled this vision through Kola Onaolapo World outreach Ministry, (KOWOM) through which he conducted evangelistic crusades around the world

His world outreach journeys around the world took him on several occasions to West African Countries, United Kingdom, Canada and United States (especially Baltimore, Maryland in US), during which he built working relationships with Church leaders and ministers of God. He also worked selflessly with other great men of God through affiliations with Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria(PFN), Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), United International Association of Pentecostal Bishops and Kingdomway College of Bishops, Maryland, United States. He was married to Rev (Mrs.) Janet Onaolapo and the marriage is blessed with children. He was called to glory on the 14th of Oct. 2012 and the ministry is ably lead by our Mummy GO-rev (Mrs) janet Onaolapo.

Flourishing with Purpose! | Children's Convention 2026!

What an incredible time we had at our 2026 Children’s Convention! From powerful music ministrations, scripture recitations to a moving drama and a timely message delivered straight from the hearts of our young leaders, we were reminded that we are intentionally planted by God to grow, shine, and impact our world. 🌳🔥
A huge thank you to our amazing children’s church teachers and parents for nurturing these world-changers!
Let’s carry this momentum into the week, remembering to stay rooted in Christ, walk in obedience, and use our gifts for His glory.

Is your gratitude complete?

This Sunday's message was a powerful reminder that Thanksgiving isn’t just a casual "thank you", it’s a lifestyle.
To truly honor God for His goodness, we must:
FEEL IT: Let gratitude start deep in your heart. Don't be so focused on the problems that you forget the Provider.
SAY IT: Don't keep His goodness a secret! Use the fruit of your lips to declare His praise. Your testimony strengthens your faith and encourages others.
SHOW IT: Let your actions speak. Through obedience, service, and giving, we demonstrate that we truly value what God has done.

When you feel it, say it, and show it, your thanksgiving becomes a bridge to your next miracle.

PRESS ON TO CARRY (2)

One of the most profound moments in Sunday's sermon (a follow up from the previous Sunday 's) was the reminder that Adam was looking for help while carrying the very "rib" needed to create it inside himself.
How often do we cry out for resources, ideas, or breakthroughs that God has already deposited within our spirit?

To "Press On To Carry" means:
- Refusing to be emotionally feeble.
- Investing in your spiritual growth through prayer.
- Understanding that your victory is already won, but your persistence is required.

Don't walk away from your burning bush today. Your set time is NOW!

Another Sunday in HIS presence... and it was everything.
WE came with expectations and left with real encounters.
God showed up in ways we could feel.
It wasn't just a service it was something deeper.

This past Sunday, the core of our General Overseer’s message (Tarry To Carry) focused on persistence as the key to breakthrough. Using the biblical example of Mary Magdalene, she highlighted that while others may walk away when results aren't immediate, those who "press in" and stay diligent are the ones who experience the miraculous.

Key Takeaways:
Faith as Certainty: Faith functions as spiritual "evidence", a guarantee of what is already promised.
Diligence Over Departure: True breakthroughs often happen just after others have given up; staying power leads to the reward.
A Shift in Season: She declared an end to stagnation and a transition into a new status of growth!

Declare it: "My status is changing! No more decline; I’m on my way to better days!!!"

Death couldn't hold Him, and the grave couldn't keep Him! 🙌🏾

We had an incredible Easter Celebration service, and the message was clear:
The Cross was not a defeat, it was the ultimate victory for every believer.

What an incredible time of worship we had during yesterday’s service, "Celebrating God's Goodness."
We were reminded that flourishing isn't just about our circumstances—it's about the spiritual state of our hearts and the power of a grateful spirit!
No matter what you're facing, remember that God’s faithfulness is constant. When we lift our voices in praise, we open the doors to even greater blessings.

The path of the just is not a flat line, it’s an upward flight!

In today’s message, "Brighter & Brighter," our General Overseer, Rev. Dr. Jane Onaolapo, reminded us that stagnation is not our portion. According to Proverbs 4:18, your light is designed to intensify every single day.
If things have felt dim lately, get ready for a divine glow-up! We are moving from glory to glory.

Stop settling for "barely getting by" when you were created to shine... Brighter and Brighter!

Sunday’s message was a powerful reminder that God’s compassion is even deeper than the strongest earthly bond. Like the story of the Prodigal Son or Peter’s restoration, God isn't looking at where you fell—He’s looking at how He can lift you up.
Whatever "prison" you feel you're in today, remember Joseph. The prison was just the waiting room for the palace.
Stay encouraged: You are loved with an everlasting, "STORGE" love!
