AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF BERNICE ABIKE IBIDUN (NEE ADESINA)
Bernice .A. Ibidun was born 70 years ago in Moluferin, Wasimi, Ifo Local Government of Ogun State to the Family of late Pa Karimu and Seliat Adesina. Her father was the Chief (Bale) of the village and also a big farmer of Ofada Rice, Cassava, and Maize etc.She attended Saint Anglican Primary School, Wasimi and Anglican Girls Secondary School Abeokuta. She came down to Mushin, Lagos State to stay with her senior brother, late Pa. Razak Adesina. Her niece, Sister Dorcas Tinuola Akindele (now Mrs. Shorinwa) introduced her to the Apostolic Church Alafia Street, Mushin where she started worshipping and became a confirmed member and a chorister. This brought a tug of war between her and her senior brother and he did everything to discourage and stopped her from following Christ, but to no avail. Praise God.Her senior brother sponsored her to Stenographic School where she obtained Advanced Certificate of R.S.A (Royal society of Arts) papers – Shorthand -120wpm, Typewriting 50wpm, English Grammar, Commerce etc. She later attended Federal Training Center and obtained a Diploma in Secretarial Studies, and University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos for her B.Sc. in Guidance and Counselling.

She retired voluntarily in 1993 from Civil Service for the work of the Ministry. In the course of her work in Lagos State, she worked with Permanent Secretaries and Commissioners e.g. (late) Mr. Victor O. Ogundimu, Dr. Desalu, Mrs. A.A Taire, Mr. B.G. Shadare and others.
MARITAL
She got married to her sweetheart, bro. David Olusegun Ibidun (now Rev. David Olusegun Ibidun), son of Pa. Abraham and Abigail Ibidun of Otun Ekiti in Moba Local Goveernment of Ekiti State. He is a Christian, spirit - filled, a Minister of the Gospel, a former Civil servant and custom officer under the Federal Republic of Nigeria, before his voluntarily retirement for the Kingdom Service. He is a man endowed with Godly wisdom, highly intelligent, believes in women ministry, supported her wife whole heartedly and released her for the ministry. Her husband was her senior pastor, counsellor, teacher and encourager.
He is also an ordained minister in Foursquare Gospel Church, 93, Oniwaya Road, Agege. Their marriage was conducted by (late) Rev. (Dr) J.A. Boyejo and Rev. E.O. Bankole of blessed memory. They have been together in marriage for 40 (forty) blessed years and the Lord bless their union with Godly children and grandchildren. Glory be to the name of the Lord, Halleluiah
SPIRITUAL
She gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ, under the ministration of Deeper Life Bible Church in July, 1976, and became a member of Foursquare Gospel Church in 1978 through the leadership of Holy Spirit and guidance of Rev. Kunle Soyemi, who was then, a brother and a worker in Foursquare Gospel Church, Oshodi. She joined Foursquare Gospel Church, Sogunle under the leadership of late Rev. Amos Akinfesola. She became a member, worker and a minister in Sogunle and it was in Sogunle Church that she met her sweetheart and they later got married. Praise God.
In 1977 she was involved in rural evangelism with Wasimi Town Brethren i.e. Brethren from other Pentecostal Churches, with the same vision of reaching the lost in rural areas. They came together to evangelize in Wasimi town and other Villages. The vision gave birth to a ministry - World of Life Ministry. One of the brethren, Rev Isaac Sunday Ilori took over the pastoring of the ministry in 1979 till date. To the glory of God the Ministry has spread to other villages within Ogun State, with Wasimi Town as the Headquarters.
She also joined the Youths in Sogunle to pioneer Ejigbo Church in Lagos and Igara in Edo State. The Churches are now Zonal Headquarters. She was a student of L.I.F.E Bible Church in 1979-82 and graduated with Diploma in 1982 as one of the best students of Class of Herald of Hope with Rev .A. Adebisi, former District Overseer, Agege, Rev. E.O. Oluwagbesan (now District Overseer & Axis Coordinator, Rev. (Dr) C. C. Orgu, the Provost L.I.F.E. Theological Seminary, late Rev. E.A. Adebiyi (former National Treasurer), Late Rev. Mrs. Lola Olakulehin, former member of Board of Directors & Zonal Superintendent, Rev. Luke Egbonuba, former District Overseer/Axis Coordinator, Rev Sam. Akingbile, Zonal Superintendent C.A.C. Ibudo Ihinrere Zone, Sango Otta, Pastor Peter Leigh and others. She later got her B.Th in L.I.F.E Theological Seminary, Ikorodu in 1996.
