Topic: Understanding The Purposes of the Church; Worship Perspective

God is Spirit and every true worship must be done in spirit if it must be acceptable by God. We are graciously in a most challenging time on earth; wherein many noise makings and chants seem to appear as the true worship. We are unconsciously being caught up in a web of “dramatic experiences, shrewd appearing as the move of God & true worship” - 1Kings 18:26-29.

Until the will of the Father is absolutely enthroned in a man’s life, until the purposes of God begins to rule a man’s life; worship is not yet attained; for every worship stems from a life of absolute surrender to the will and purposes of God. True worship begins with a life of total surrender to the will of God in righteousness and service - Rom.
12:1-2.

God did not create the church accidentally, He designed it intentionally for: Worship, Fellowship, Evangelism, Discipleship and Ministry/Service.

🎀 Note The Following

1. The Church is not a building; The church is a people - 1Cor. 12:27.

2. The Church is not a social club; it is a divine institution - Mt. 16:17-18.

3. The Church exists because God willed it - Mt 16:16-17.

4. Many churches are busy but not purposeful; activity without divine purpose in the church leads to frustration -Mt. 28:18-20.

🎀 Understanding Worship; The Foundational Biblical Perspective

1. Before the church does anything for the people, it must first exist for God - Jn. 4:23-24.

2. The first mention of the word “Worship” in the scripture had nothing to do with music, choir nor instruments, it was in respect to “Obedience & absolute yieldedness to God’s perfect will even though it was not convenient - Gen 22:1-5.

3. Worship is not music alone. True biblical worship is a lifestyle that is pleasing to God.

Message: THE MIRACLE OF CONSECRATION

We are still living in the days of God’s righteousness, wherein His glory will keep radiating upon the believers who decide to take a stand for God. We are still in the era wherein besides the "Elijahs", there are still the seven thousand who lack charisma but do not lack purity - 1Kings 19:14-18.

We live in a generation wherein the flesh wants to rule in the kingdom, wherein kingdom men have lost touch with the
spirit of purity. Good news: there are still yet the seven thousand that have never and will never bow down to baal. There are still the Shedrachs, Meshacks and the Abednegos who will prefer the burning furnace than the pleasantness of the king - Dan. 3:16-18

🎀 WHAT THEN IS CONSECRATION?

1. To be set apart, divinely preserved or separated for a purpose - Acts 13:2-3.

2. The conscious yielding of yourself to God via His Spirit & Word, in order to live according to the scriptures - Rom. 13:1-2.

3. The determination never to yield or conform to the desirable standards, but to yield to the transformation work of the Holy Spirit from within - Rom. 6:16-18.

4. The separatedness unto God for His purpose & design, which will produce the inner and outer beauty & glory of the king through one - Exo. 28:2-3.

🎀 UNVEILING THE MYSTERY OF CONSECRATION

1. Christ has paid the debt for sins already, your part is just to yield - Rom. 6:5-10.

2. The production of the Godlife by the yieldedness of the believer to the partnership of the Spirit – Rom.
8:8-11.

3. The physical responsibility of presenting your bodies first unto God - Rom. 12:1.

4. The summation of the consecration mystery is the production of the God life in the yielded vessel by the responsibility of him yielding to the renewing of his mind by the Spirit of God via His Word - Rom. 10:8-10.

Message: JUST THANKSGIVING
Text: 2 SAMUEL 6:12-15, PSALMS 13:6

We must know that the Lord is worthy of our praise. Whenever our praises go high, His glory comes down. To be ungrateful of all the Lord has done for you thus far is to be a great fool - Ps. 124:1-3.

A fool is one who does not see anything to bless the Lord for. It is the one who has no reason nor praise in his heart unto the Lord. He says, "Who is the Lord that I should praise Him?". To be ungrateful is to rob oneself of great testimonies - 2Sam 6:15-16.

Never you despise anyone who is “Just giving thanksgiving genuinely unto the Lord” for it has consequences. You shall be fruitful in Jesus name, Amen.

🎀 WHAT IS THANKSGIVING?

It is our token of gratitude unto the Lord from the depth of our hearts, for His mercies, provisions & protections. It could be accompanied with a loud voice, or an instrument. It is an endless expression of thanks & gratitude day after day unto the Lord - Ps 113:3.

🎀 WHY THANKSGIVING?

1. It is man’s own way of saying unto the Lord “Thank you Lord, I am grateful” - Jer 20:13.

2. When we recount His faithfulness in our health, life, family, business, etc, we become like David who exclaimed - Ps. 103:1-5.

3. It is our honourable giving unto the Lord. We must know that the Lord is “no beggar” therefore our giving unto Him must reflect that - Gen 4:3-5.

4. It is a proof of the submission of our bodies unto the Lord first as His sacrifice - Rom 12:1-2

: In Thanksgiving:

1. The Lord must find us pleasing first. He must accept us first before our gifts.

2. That it is not just the volume of our gifts that matters unto the Lord, but our heart of genuine gratitude.

Message: COMMANDING EXPLOITS ON THE PLANE OF SUPERNATURAL STRENGTH/UNCTION

No one can do exploits except by the energy of the Spirit. It takes the zeal and spirit of the Lord to accomplish whatever God has determined to do. Therefore until the zeal of the Lord is in place, nothing supernatural nor of exploits can happen. No matter the expertise, the zeal of the Lord always triumphs - Dan. 5:7-8.

Every one must learn how to depend on the energy of the Spirit if exploits must become
a normal thing. To neglect His strength is to be stranded in the journey of life. Receive grace to wait for His strength; you cannot wait on Him and be wasted - Ps. 34:5.

There is no greater way to have His strength than to wait on Him. The energy of the spiritual which is the zeal of the Lord is daily obtained at the place of waiting on Him. If you need supernatural strength, practice the “waiting on Him ritual". Elijah waited and he was empowered/strengthened to outrun Ahab - 1Kings 18:42, 45-46.

🎀 WHAT THEN IS SUPERNATURAL STRENGTH?

1. It is the power of God, the energy of the Spirit that births only what God can birth - Lk. 1:34-35.

2. It is the Holy Ghost coming upon you, your faithlessness, your dead idea and empowering you to believe, conceive & instantly bring forth in this season - Lk. 1:34-35.

3. It is the Spirit of speed (speed to begin, speed to take off, speed to overtake) - 1Kings 18:44-46.

4. It is the supernatural strength to conceive ideas - Lk. 1:34-35.

5. It is the Spirit of the Covenant that empowers you to prosper - Deut. 8:18.

6. He is the Holy Ghost, the Spirit that quickens dead bodies - Rom 8:11.

: I speak now, any dead life, health, situation, and any irreversible health condition is reversed now. I declare you healed now! Whatsoever health uneasiness ceases now in the name of Jesus. I see you receiving strength to conceive and birth the impossible. It is done, in Jesus' name!

Supernatural kingdom prosperity is God’s ordained plan for you in these last days. All through scriptures, everyone that walked with God or that served His cause were incurably blessed. The prosperity of the believer is supernatural and not just a function of his own very hands -Gen. 35:9-13.

You must recognize that no matter the seed sown (natural efforts), it takes the blessing of the Lord upon the seed for it to prosper. Any time the Lord blesses one, He tags along with it supernatural security to avoid the destroyer. But now it takes the fear of the Lord; forever honouring the Lord for the preservation of all that He has blessed you with -Job 1:9-10.

Supernatural Prosperity is real. God still blesses His people without compromises. No matter the pressure, do not compromise this year. The prosperity of the believer is a sworn blessing of God to him through Christ. The full blown prosperity of the saints are made available through Christ, it is supernatural and can be accessed through a covenanted system of faith work - 2Pet. 1:2-3.

🎀 UNDERSTANDING SCRIPTURAL PERSPECTIVES OF THE BELIEVER’S PROSPERITY

1. It is Divine - 3Jn. 2

2. It is by Revelation - 2Pet. 1:3.

3. It is by Choice - Deut. 30:19

4. It is by Obedience - Deut. 28:1-3

5. It is of faith through excellent responsibility - James 2:17-20.

6. God is committed to bless the fruits of your hands through your works - Gen. 2:8.

🎀 ENGAGING THE COVENANT FORCE CONNECTION FOR PROSPERITY

1. The Covenant of Self Responsibility - Gen. 2:5-8.

2. The Covenant of the Seedtime & Harvest - Gen. 8:22.

3. The Covenant of Kingdom Obligation (Tithe) - Gen. 14:18-20

4. The Covenant of Willful Giving to His Cause (Offerings & Projects Seeds) - 2Cor. 9:7-10.

5. The Covenant of Parental Obligation - Mt. 15:4.

6. The Covenant of Charity - Prov. 19:17.

: Father by the Holy Ghost, we call forth from this day, the manifestation of open heavens over our finances. We shall no longer be small. We break bounds in prosperity. We receive the fullness of our breakthroughs in this season, in the name of Jesus!
