📜🍞 *Scripture Text: 2 Chronicles 20:15-17 (KJV)*

“And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.

Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.”

💡🍞 *Devotional Body:*
Life is full of battles. Some battles come through sickness, poverty, family troubles, persecution, fear, disappointment, or spiritual attacks. Many believers become tired because they try to fight every battle with their own wisdom and strength. But God wants His children to remember that victory comes from Him.

King Jehoshaphat faced a dangerous situation when many nations gathered against Judah. Humanly speaking, defeat was certain. But instead of depending on military power, Jehoshaphat sought the face of God through prayer and fasting. God answered him and declared, “The battle is not yours, but God’s.”

Beloved, whenever God takes over a battle, victory becomes sure. Your responsibility is to trust Him, obey Him, pray, and stand in faith. God is never defeated. The enemies may gather, but they cannot overcome the child of God whose confidence is in the Lord.

📖
A Christian widow was struggling to feed her children after losing her job. Debt increased, and many people mocked her faith. One night, she knelt down crying and said, “Lord, I cannot fight this battle alone anymore.”

The next morning, an old friend unexpectedly called her and connected her to a small business opportunity. Within months, God changed her story completely. She later testified in church saying, “When I surrendered the battle to God, He fought for me.”

Many times, God is waiting for us to stop panicking and start trusting Him fully. No matter the battle before you today, the Lord will arise for your sake.

Stop carrying burdens God has asked you to surrender to Him.

Pray instead of worrying.

Trust God even when the situation looks impossible.

Continue obeying God while waiting for His intervention.

Remember that God specializes in impossible battles.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

💡🍞 *Devotional Body:*

God never wants to be an option in our lives; He desires to be our priority. Many people remember God only when they are in trouble, confusion, sickness, or lack. But God is calling us to place Him first above money, pleasure, friends, career, fame, and even our personal desires.

When God has the first place in your heart, your decisions, thoughts, actions, and lifestyle will reflect His glory. Giving God first place means loving Him wholeheartedly, obeying His Word, spending time in prayer, worshipping Him sincerely, and trusting Him completely.

The heart is the control center of life. Whatever occupies your heart controls your actions. If worldly things take the throne of your heart, your spiritual life will grow cold. But when Jesus reigns in your heart, peace, joy, direction, and divine favor will follow you.

Short Story:
There was a young man who was always too busy for God. He spent all his time chasing money and worldly success. One day, he lost his job unexpectedly and became deeply troubled. In his pain, he remembered God and began praying sincerely. As he drew closer to God daily, he discovered peace greater than riches. Later, God opened another door for him that was better than before. He then realized that when God becomes first in your life, every other thing falls into place.

Beloved, do not allow anything to replace God in your heart. Jesus must remain your first love. Your relationship with Him is more valuable than silver or gold.

Many things in life may appear attractive, beautiful, profitable, and exciting at first sight, but not everything that shines is good for your destiny. The enemy often hides danger behind attractive appearances. Satan knows how to package evil to look harmless and appealing. That is why believers must walk carefully and prayerfully.

Today many people are deceived by outward beauty, fake success, sweet words, false teachings, and worldly pleasures. Some opportunities glitter with quick money, but they destroy peace and integrity. Some friendships look attractive, but they pull people away from God. Some teachings sound powerful, but they are empty of truth and holiness.

God wants His children to develop spiritual discernment. Before accepting any opportunity, relationship, teaching, or decision, seek God first. Never judge only by appearance. The Holy Spirit sees what human eyes cannot see.

Samson saw Delilah and loved her beauty, but she became the channel of his downfall. Judas walked with Jesus physically, but greed destroyed him from within. Eve saw the fruit and thought it looked good, yet it brought sin into the world. Truly, all that glitter are not gold.

📖 Short Story:

A fisherman once saw a shiny object floating on the river. Thinking it was silver, he quickly jumped into the water to grab it. As he held it tightly, he realized it was only broken glass reflecting sunlight. In trying to hold it, his hands became badly wounded.

Many people today are wounded because they chased what only looked attractive without seeking God’s direction. What glitters outwardly may carry hidden pain inwardly.

Beloved, do not allow appearance to deceive you. Pray before every step. Let God guide your choices. What comes from God may start small, but it brings peace, joy, and lasting blessings.

✅ Pray before making major decisions.
✅ Test every teaching and opportunity with the Word of God.
✅ Avoid people and environments that weaken your spiritual life.
✅ Ask God daily for wisdom and discernment.

Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

💡🍞 *Devotional Body:*

God is the giver of everything we have. The money, strength, wisdom, opportunities, time, skills, and resources we enjoy all come from Him. Many people think tithe and offering are only about money, but serving God with our substance includes our resources, materials, talents, and even our time for His work.

When we deny God our tithe and offering, it shows lack of gratitude and dishonor to the One who blesses us daily. God is not poor, but He commands giving so that His work on earth can continue and so our hearts can remain faithful and dependent on Him.

Giving to God is not a burden; it is an act of worship, obedience, and love. Abel gave unto God his best offering and God respected him and his sacrifice.

Genesis 4:4 (KJV)

*> “And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:”*

Anything we withhold from God can become a limitation to spiritual growth. Some people have time for movies, gossip, and worldly pleasures but have no time for prayer, evangelism, or supporting the work of God. God desires faithful stewards who will gladly serve Him with all they have.

📖 Short Story:

A poor farmer loved God deeply. Every harvest season, he always separated the first and best portion for God before selling the rest. One year, the harvest was very small, and his friends advised him not to give his tithe because things were hard. But the farmer said, “If I forget God in hard times, I don’t deserve blessings in good times.” He obeyed God faithfully. A few months later, someone unexpectedly blessed him with farming equipment and support that multiplied his harvest greatly. His obedience opened doors for greater blessings.

Beloved, never deny God what belongs to Him. Your giving may not reduce you; instead, it positions you for divine favor, open heavens, and kingdom impact.

✅ Give God your time, strength, and resources joyfully.
✅ Support kingdom work and the needy around you.

💡🍞 *Devotional Body:*

Many people lose today because they are too worried about tomorrow. Fear of the future has stolen joy, peace, sleep, and faith from many hearts. But God never asked us to carry tomorrow’s burden today. He only wants us to trust Him one day at a time.

God gives daily strength for daily challenges. Just as manna fell daily for the children of Israel in the wilderness, God still supplies grace, wisdom, peace, and provision day by day. When we focus too much on tomorrow, we become anxious; but when we focus on God for today, we become peaceful and confident.

A young farmer once worried every night about whether rain would fall for his crops. He could not sleep well and became weak with fear. One day, an elderly man told him, “You can water today’s ground, but you cannot control tomorrow’s weather. Trust God for what you cannot handle.”

The farmer decided to pray instead of worry. Little by little, peace returned to his heart. Though challenges still came, he learned to live one day at a time with faith in God.

Beloved, God already stands in your tomorrow. The same God who helped you yesterday will still help you today and tomorrow. Do not allow fear to steal your confidence in God.

Walking with God is not a casual activity—it is a deliberate, daily decision to align your life with His wisdom and His will. God is both wise (He knows what is best) and willing (He desires to guide and bless His children). But the responsibility lies on us to walk in obedience to His command.

Many believers desire God’s blessings, but not all are willing to follow His instructions. Walking with God means surrendering your plans, your timing, and even your understanding to Him. It means trusting His wisdom above your feelings.

📖 Short Story:
A young man once decided to travel to another city for a job opportunity. Before leaving, his father advised him, “Follow the road map I gave you; it may look longer, but it is safer.”
Halfway through the journey, the young man saw a shortcut. It looked faster and easier, so he ignored his father’s instruction. Unfortunately, the road led him into a dangerous area, and he lost valuable time and resources before finding his way back.

When he finally arrived safely using the original map, he realized that his father’s wisdom was not to restrict him—but to protect and guide him.

In the same way, God’s commands are not burdens—they are divine directions for a successful and peaceful life. When you walk with Him willingly, you avoid unnecessary struggles.

Enoch walked with God and did not experience death the normal way—this shows that intimacy with God produces uncommon results. When your life aligns with God, you begin to experience divine favor, direction, and preservation.

Choose daily to obey God, even when it is not convenient.

Study His Word to understand His will clearly.

Walk humbly—depend on God in every decision.

Avoid shortcuts that contradict God’s instructions.

Stay consistent in your relationship with God through prayer and fellowship.
