The Daily Fruit 🍓 Devotional.
Topic: The Thief Cometh.
Text: John 10:10.
28/05/26.

There is a unifying knowledge about who a thief is and his mission.
He comes around to deprive and dispossesses people of their properties, be it physically or spiritually.

In today's scriptural reading, Jesus clearly reveals the mission of the enemy and the mission of Christ. Satan comes like a thief — secretly, subtly, and deceptively. A thief does not announce his arrival; he looks for open doors, careless moments, and unguarded lives. His purpose is to steal joy, kill vision, destroy destinies, weaken faith, and separate people from God.

Many believers lose spiritual fire, peace, prayer life, and divine opportunities because they are unaware of the enemy’s tactics. The devil stole from Samson his strength, from Judas his loyalty, and from Adam and Eve their dominion through deception.
But Jesus did not stop at exposing the thief; He also declared His own mission: to give life abundantly. Christ restores what the enemy has stolen. He gives peace instead of confusion, hope instead of despair, and victory instead of defeat.

Has the thief stolen your peace, Joy and blessings? Jesus came for a mission rescue, to reintegrate you into the original designation God created for you before the world began.

So as believers, we must remain spiritually alert. Guard your heart, your prayer altar, and your relationship with God. Do not give the enemy access through sin, compromise, bitterness, or spiritual negligence. Remember he comes to steal, kill and and destroy. Don't give him that chance. The choice is yours.
Ephesians 4:27 — “Neither give place to the devil.”
2 Corinthians 2:11 — “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us..."

Prayer Points 👏:
Lord, open my eyes to every strategy of the enemy against my life.
Father, restore everything the thief has stolen from me spiritually and physically.
Help me to remain vigilant and steadfast in my walk with You.
Let Your abundant life flow in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Shalom.

Topic: God As Of Old.
Text: Psalms 46:9-10
27/05/26

There are moments in life when believers wonder if God still performs wonders like He did in the days of old. We read about the Red Sea opening, Jericho collapsing, Elijah calling down fire, Daniel surviving the lions’ den, and Lazarus rising from the dead. Sometimes we ask, “Can God still do these things today?” The answer is yes.

God has not changed.
The God who delivered Israel from Egypt is still mighty to save. The God who remembered Hannah, defended Daniel, promoted Joseph, healed Naaman, and restored Job is still at work today. Men may change, systems may fail, generations may pass away, but God remains the same forever.

Malachi 3:6 says:
“For I am the LORD, I change not…”
Hebrews 13:8 also declares:
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
When the Psalmist remembered the mighty acts of God, his faith was revived:
“I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.” — Psalm 77:11

Remembering what God did before strengthens confidence in what He can do again. If He healed before, He can heal again. If He delivered before, He can deliver again. If He opened doors before, He can still make a way where there seems to be none.
Sometimes our situations look ancient, stubborn, and impossible, but the “God of old” specializes in impossible cases. He parted seas, brought water from rocks, fed multitudes in the wilderness, and raised the dead. No challenge is too difficult for Him.

Isaiah cried:
“Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD…” — Isaiah 51:9
This should also be our prayer today: “Lord, arise again in Your power as in the days of old.”
The same God who answered by fire in Elijah’s time still answers prayers today. The same God who preserved Noah, empowered David, and favored Esther still rules in the affairs of men.
Trust Him. Hold onto His promises. Your present condition is not beyond His power.

Have this understanding:
God never changes in power or character.
What God has done before, He can do again.
Remembering past testimonies strengthens present faith.
No situation is too hard for the Ancient of Days.
God remains faithful to His covenant across generations.

Confession:-
“The God who worked miracles in the Bible is still alive today. He will fight for me, deliver me, and establish His purpose in my life, in Jesus’ name.”

Prayer Points:
O Lord, arise in my life as the God of old, in Jesus’ name.
Father, perform Your wonders in my situation again.
Every stubborn problem in my life, bow before the Ancient of Days.
Lord, revive my faith through the remembrance of Your mighty acts.
O God of Elijah, answer me by fire today.
Shalom.
