The Daily Fruit 🍓 Devotional:
Topic: Hurry Up To Your Destiny.
Text: 1 Samuel 9:12-16.
28/08/26.

“Now therefore get you up; for about this time ye shall find him…” — 1 Samuel 9:13.
Our life is interwoven with what one has to do and distractions that will rob one off his/her destiny. It takes patience and perseverance to reach and attain that destination. May not be distracted from your path of destiny in Jesus name.

In today's scriptural reading, Saul went looking for his father’s lost donkeys, but God was using that journey to lead him into his destiny as Israel’s first king. The moment came when Saul needed to meet Samuel, and the people told him, “Now therefore get you up.”

This teaches us that divine opportunities have seasons. There are moments when we must stop delaying and move quickly into what God has prepared for us.
Many people miss destiny not because they lack ability, but because of delay, procrastination, fear, distraction, or misplaced priorities. Destiny requires timed movement and accuracy. When God opens a door, we must be ready to walk through it.
Most often, we are too naive and unbothered to see where God is taking us to.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.”
Ephesians 5:15–16 tells us to walk wisely and redeem the time.
John 9:4 reminds us that there is a time to work while the opportunity is available.

Saul did not know that his ordinary journey was leading him toward an extraordinary encounter. In the same way, your present assignment may be connected to your future destiny. So do not despise small beginnings. Do not waste today's opportunity waiting for tomorrow.

Here Is What You Must Do:
Recognize your season — Know what God is doing in your life.

Stop unnecessary delay — Procrastination can become a destiny thief.

Obey promptly — When God gives direction, respond in faith.

Value every opportunity — Today's small step may open tomorrow's great door.

Keep moving toward God's purpose — “The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day” (Proverbs 4:18).

Recognize God's voice - Saul listened and obeyed the voice of his father's servant which led them to the man of God - 1 Samuel 9:6.

Now Declare:
I will not waste time on what does not contribute to my destiny. I receive grace to arise, move forward, and fulfill God's purpose for my life. Every divine opportunity assigned to me will not pass me by. I shall fulfill my days and finish my course in Jesus' name. Amen.

Prayer 🤲:
Father, give me the grace to recognize my divine season. Deliver me from procrastination, distraction, fear, and every form of unnecessary delay. Help me to arise and pursue everything You have ordained for my life. Let me not arrive late to my divine appointment. Order my steps and lead me speedily into the fulfillment of my destiny, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Shalom.

The Daily Fruit 🍓 Devotional:
Topic: When Death Looks Profitable.
Text: 1Kings 19:4-8, Psalms 34:18.
27/08/26.

Life is a journey of ups and downs, falling and raising. It is also a life trial. What are you going through now? Are you in a straight, thinking the best way out is death? Wait a minute to see and know that there are moments when life becomes so painful, disappointing, or overwhelming that death may appear to be the easiest escape. Even Elijah, a mighty prophet of God, reached such a point. He sat under a tree and asked that he might die: “It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life” (1 Kings 19:4).

But God did not condemn Elijah. Instead, He gave him rest, food, encouragement, and a new assignment. Elijah thought his journey was over, but God was not finished with him. Don't give up on yourself, what you are going through now might just be a transition.

Learn to hear God's side of your story. Never make a permanent decision because of a temporary pain. What looks like the end may only be a difficult chapter. Your present situation does not determine your final destiny. For your condition is not your conclusion. Don't give up that dream, don't leave that business or marriage because it seems not to be working. Just hang on and wait on God- Ecclesiastes 3:10 "I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it." 3:11 "He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end."

God is surely working out something for you.Wait for Him and wait on Him .
God is near to the brokenhearted — Psalm 34:18.
God gives strength to the weary — Isaiah 40:29–31.
There is hope beyond your present trouble — Romans 8:18.
God has plans for your future — Jeremiah 29:11.
Your life belongs to God — 1 Corinthians 6:19–20.
When death looks like the best way out, look again to God. There may be another way that you cannot see yet.

The pain may be real, but it is not the end of your story. God still has a purpose for your life.

Prayer 🤲:
Father, when I become overwhelmed and feel that life is no longer worth living, remind me that You are with me. Give me strength for today, hope for tomorrow, and grace to continue. Let Your light shine into every dark place of my heart. Help me to trust that You are not finished with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Shalom.
