THE IMEKO BASILICA, WHERE FAITH RISES!

Standing majestically in the heart of the Celestial Holy City, Imeko, the Basilica of the Celestial Church of Christ is more than a monumental structure. It is a powerful symbol of faith, worship, heritage and the enduring spiritual journey of the Celestial family.

For generations of Celestians, Imeko has remained a place of pilgrimage, prayer, thanksgiving and spiritual significance.

A sacred space where voices rise in worship, hearts seek God, and generations gather in the presence of the Almighty.

From the pilgrims who journey thousands of kilometres to worship, to first-time visitors captivated by its grandeur, the Basilica continues to welcome all who come with reverence and expectation.

Prepare for the experience this season

IMEKO: WHERE THE ROCK SPEAKS!

Deep in Imeko lies a remarkable site where water springs from the rock and the earth; a place that has become a significant point of prayer and spiritual reflection for pilgrims.

These moments from Imeko 2025 remind us of the unique spiritual atmosphere that awaits once again in 2026.

Imeko 2026 is coming…
Come with faith. Come with expectation. Come ready to encounter God; as we move from GLORY TO GLORY (2 Corin 3:18)

OUR SONG IS HALLELUJAH.

Through every season, every testimony and every journey, our song remains the same.

Hallelujah!

And it will forever be.

As we journey towards Imeko 2026, may our hearts remain filled with praise, and may our voices continually proclaim His Glory, even as we move from GORY TO GLORY

IMEKO 2026: A NEW CHAPTER IN CORPORATE PARTNERSHIP

In a significant step towards building strategic partnerships for Imeko Convocation 2026, the Chairman of the Imeko Convocation Committee, Sp/Sup/Evang. Julius Akinola, led members of the ICC Executive Committee to Ikenne, Ogun State for a strategic engagement with Hon. Kunle Soname, Founder and CEO of ValueJet Airline.

The visit was part of the Committee's ongoing efforts to seek corporate sponsorship and strategic partnerships that will contribute to the success of this year's Convocation.

Significantly, the initiative marks what is being described as a first in the history of the Celestial Church of Christ that the Imeko Convocation leadership is taking a deliberate corporate approach to engage major businesses and corporate organisations for sponsorship.

As the countdown to Imeko 2026 continues, the ICC is leaving no stone unturned in its determination to deliver a Convocation that will be memorable, impactful and truly move the church from GLORY to GLORY

A Living Legacy

At 92, M/C Olusola George, who was raised from the dead by St. S.B.J. Oshoffa in 1954, remains a living testament to one of the most remarkable moments in the history of the Celestial Church of Christ.

As we journey towards the 2026 Imeko Convocation, her life reminds us that God's power never fades, His faithfulness never fails, and His glory is revealed from generation to generation.

The journey from Glory to Glory continues.

"Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker." – Psalm 95:6

The moon is new. The call is familiar.

As we continue our journey from Glory to Glory towards the Imeko Convocation 2026, let every Celestial answer the call, gathering in their parish for the New Moon Service to seek God's face, renew their strength, and prepare their hearts for all He has in store.

Come with faith.
Come with expectation.
Come ready to receive from the Lord.

See you in service.
