RE: CELEBRATING FACS AT 28: AMAZING YEARS OF GENERATIONAL IMPACT!!!
Today, we mark a remarkable milestone in our journey of faith and service! As we celebrate the 28th anniversary of the Fellowship of Amasiri Christian Students (FACS), we remember the humble beginnings of our Fellowship, founded on September 8, 1996, at Revelation of God Church Amasiri, with just 8 visionary individuals - 7 young men and 1 woman.
As the General Coordinator of FACS, I am honored to lead this vibrant Fellowship, built on the pillars of unity, discipleship, service, and truth. Our motto, "Go ye and Make Disciples" (Matthew 28:19), serves as a constant reminder of our mission to share the love of Christ and empower others to do the same. Our slogan, "In fact, In FACS, we talk FACTS," reflects our commitment to authenticity and integrity.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our Senior Friends, whose contributions and mentorship have been invaluable to our growth and success. Your legacy continues to inspire and guide us. Through your support, we have been able to make a tangible difference in the lives of many, including providing food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, and education for the underprivileged.
As we celebrate this anniversary, we need your continued support to sustain and amplify our mission. Your contributions will enable us to:
- Reach more people with the Gospel
- Provide more comprehensive services to those in need
- Further the Kingdom of God in Amasiri and beyond
Let us recommit ourselves to the values that have brought us this far. Let us continue to be a shining example of God's love and grace, and may our efforts be a blessing to generations to come.
