Regarding the recent news involving Dr. Paul Enenche, the founder of Dunamis Church, and the woman accused by him of giving a false testimony, I want to address everyone.
Recently, Evangelist Ebuka Obi faced severe criticism after a man, who falsely claimed to be a native doctor, gave testimony in Ebuka Obi's ministry.
I'm not here to defend Ebuka Obi, I don't know if he masterminded the incident or if the man acted on his own. However, I want to highlight this event to underscore how it prompted all Nigerian pastors to be vigilant about testimonies shared in their churches.
This incident at Ebuka Obi's ministry caused a ripple effect, leading pastors to examine those who share testimonies to prevent similar occurrences. It's worth noting that the same individual who went to Ebuka Obi's ministry later appeared at the Lord's Chosen church, only to be intercepted by Pastor Lazarus, the founder.
Personally, I believe the man may have had ulterior motives when he visited Lord's Chosen. This incident served as a wake-up call for pastors to safeguard against individuals with malicious intentions, deceit, and propaganda infiltrating the churches. This context sheds light on why Dr. Paul Enenche may have misjudged in the case of the woman. After all, Paul Enenche, like anyone else, is capable of making mistakes.
The little thing I have to say to Dr. Paul regarding his mistake is that he acted emotionally. He didn't ask all the questions he needed to ask the woman before attacking her.
It's not everybody that is educated even though they went to school. Some lack behind grammatically. Tension can as well cause a person to panic and speak anyhow in the public where there is a big crowd.
If she was asked which of the National Open Universities, and was asked to bring the proof of her result next Sunday, to justify her testimony, that would have settled the whole matter without anyone being disrespected or humiliated.
Sir, your response was overly harsh. Even if you choose not to apologize publicly, the evidence provided by the woman has justified her. Nevertheless, sir, an apology to her, whether publicly or privately, is needed.
Thank you, and may God bless you all.
