Welcome to July – Our Month of Spiritual Alertness

Happy new month.🤗🎉

As I prayed concerning this month, I sensed the Lord impressing this on my heart: July is a month of spiritual alertness.

This is a call to wake up spiritually, to be watchful, discerning, prayerful, and sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. It is not a month for spiritual carelessness or complacency, but a season to draw nearer to God, remain steadfast in His Word, and walk in obedience.

Our anchor scripture is Romans 13:11–14:
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep...

May this month find us awake in prayer, steadfast in faith, quick to obey God's voice, and clothed with the Lord Jesus Christ.

May the Holy Spirit keep us watchful, strengthen us to resist every distraction, and help us walk as children of the light throughout this month.
