If you buy a land at the redemption camp or city, the moment you kpai, the land doesn't belong to you again.
Even if you were given the land for free to build on it, the moment you kpai, you loose it
Under Nigeria law, you don't own a building
You can only own the land, which means whatever you build on it does not matter.
You own the land on the condition that you are still alive, upright and not found wanting of any crime, you loss the land the moment you kpai or found wanting of any crime
Your children can not inherit it.
Your family can not inherit the property.
You can not include it in your WILL
When you kpai,
The land/property goes back to the church as the owner and they have the right to sell it to another person the next hour they confirm your D£
This is what we call LEASEHOOD
it's a type of property interest where a person (the lessee) is granted the right to exclusive possession of land or a building by the owner (the lessor) for a specific period.
And the document they will give you for thi type of Land/property is what we call
DEED OF LEASE
If your Land documents shows Deed of lease
Know this from today, you are not the full owner of your land and your children can not inherit your land/property
LEASEHOOD can come with different terms and conditions that you must agree with
