Resist the devil
In my last message Concerning harvest of souls. I promise to continue the second part of the message.
As promised, below is the Continuation of Harvest of Souls
Before we move further with this message.
I pray that the purpose of the Lord be made known to us in Jesus name.

Last time we talked about what harvesting of soul meant, which is go ye out to all nations and preach the word, make disciples of all nations because harvest are plentiful. but the labourers are few.
I will be discussing about types of harvest today.
(1) Wheat harvest
(2) Harvest of the gentiles or the unbelievers
Today, we will discuss about
WHEAT HARVEST.
Why do I call it wheat harvest? this is because wheat is a kind of grain useful for human consumption, it yields fine white flours. used chiefly in many varieties and it has substance that we need to be healthy and grow properly. This mean that there are Christians renewed, reawakened, refurbished their mind somehow, there is no doubt, through the word said to them or by any other ways. They accept Jesus Christ as their lord and saviour. These are the wheats that are changed into new creature and useful for the growth of the gospel and potentials of the word.They became gospel Proclaimers. Wheat in other words are baby Christians that are still taking milk in the word.
Note : Before you can get a wheat you must first take it out of it chaff. I think that I am saying the right thing here. The wheat will or may refuse to be useful without taken it out from it chaffs. chaffs are the unwanted substances, a debris, something comparatively worthless and unwanted.
Take the wheat from chaff
(Matthew 13:1) "The same day went Jesus out of the house and sat by the sea side.
And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so, he went into a ship and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
"And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow,
And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the road side and the birds came to devoured them up.
(1)Some souls are out there that are moralist, they know the right thing yet, they don't believe in manifesting in spirit and they do not even believe in whom God is).
(2) Some knows whom God is but unstable, paranoid to accept him in totallity
(3). Some even know whom God is and still they backslide.
Jesus said the devil came to the field to devour them up.
Matthew 13:5 says some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forth with they sprung up because they had no deepness on earth. And when the sun was up they were scorched; because they had no root, they withered away.
And some fell among thorns and the thorns sprung up and choked them.
The word of the Lord is a parable. There are many great men and women, they have in one way or the other done the will of God they have harvested souls. Yet there is something we must understand that some soul weared out, maybe the seeds that dropped in their heart were scorched, withered away, because there is no spirit filled person to indulge them, or follow up to build them, due to this, many harvested souls, the new convert fell into the things of the world and became scorched (thirsty of the word) and withered away because no one is there to sharpen them. The Bible says Iron sharpeneth Iron. We grow by lifting, upholding hands. That is the reason why you see many of our Christians, children, youths, adults today manifest in the flesh, lust for the world and worldliness They are after worldly things (Money as said in the scriptures, is the root of all evil) and not after the prospect of the will of God.
What are this worldly things ? (see Gal 5:19).
That is the reason why we need wheat harvest. We need to go after the weared out Christians.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, if another brethren Christian is overcome by sin, you that are godly, should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself (Gal 6:1 NLT).
This is the No 1 law of wheat harvest bring weared out Christian back on their feet also be careful so that you don't fall in to the pit dug by the vises of the devil
Likely , wheat harvest requires your altitude towards people, your behaviour as gospel proclamer, do not be weary in well doing, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith, because this is the greatest wheat harvest you can ever do. Our ways and behaviors got a lot do with this withered souls. As a spirit filled Christian, we are to manifest in the fruits of the spirit before we can go ahead with our wheat harvest. Be friendly enough with full humility and meekness , so that you will accomplish the tasks given to you.
As Christians, strive ahead and separate the wheat from the chaff, the good from the bad, the believers from the unbelievers and faint not, be careful as well not to fall into the same temptation because it has great gain. The Lord will surely reward you in due time (Rev 22:12)
