*TOPIC: LIFE OF PURITY*

*TEXT: Numbers 19:11-22 (KJV)*

11 He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.

12 He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

13 Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

14 This is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

15 And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.

16 And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

17 And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:

18 And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:

19 And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.

20 But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the Lord: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.

21 And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.

22 And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.

*KEY VERSE: *“But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean”* (Numbers 19:20)*.

*MESSAGE*:

Revivalist, Smith Wigglesworth, once said, “Two things will get you to leap out of yourselves into the promises of God today. One is purity, and the other is faith, which is kindled more and more by purity. How great is the position of a man who is born of God, born of purity, born of faith, born of life, born of power!”

This passage deals with the application of ashes for purification. It was one of the laws that were meant to prevent the defilement of the tabernacle; but like several Old Testament laws, it was ceremonial. However, it emphasises God’s hatred for pollution and uncleanliness. Anyone who touched a dead body would be unclean and must purify themselves with a heifer on the third day. Similarly, the water of separation must be sprinkled upon such, without which they would remain unclean. Without purification, the person would defile the tabernacle and be cut off from Israel.

The situation was so serious that even people who were in the tent when a person died, those who touched someone killed with a sword in open fields, along with individuals who touched the bones of the dead or their graves were all deemed unclean. Thank God for Jesus Christ who died on the cross for us and washed us clean with His blood. We do not need to go through such ceremonial practices for cleansing as our Lord and Saviour has done it for us, once and for all.

Everyone on earth must be washed with the blood of Jesus for the purification to happen in their lives. Those who fail to repent of their sins will be judged unclean and cut off from the congregation of the saints in heaven.

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:*
Anyone who has not been to Jesus has not experienced real cleansing.

_*"And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also"*_. (Numbers 20:11)


MESSAGE:
*Yes, it does matter a lot to God if we fail in any task He asks us to perform. He expects us to follow His brief all through without deviating. He expects a hundred percent completion of any job He hands over to His servants, since on His part He will not fail to kit us with all we need to succeed.*

*Moses, the man of God, had all it would take to get water from the rock at Kadesh to quench the thirst of millions of Israelites and their beasts. The Lord did not instruct him to use the rod He told him to carry. He was only to speak to the rock, “and it shall give forth his water”. But Moses, driven by anger due to the incontinence of the assembly, got into trouble as he struck the rock and gave the impression of unbelief, which God charged him with, as he did not “sanctify [Him] in the eyes of the children of Israel”. Therefore, he was disallowed from reaching the Promised Land for his error.*

*Leaders are to be doubly watchful in the assignments they receive from the Lord. Corresponding with the business of sticking to the brief of His agenda, they must constantly control their tempers so they do not feed their emotions with self-will. The second level of precaution is the people. Spirit-guided leaders would not permit themselves to fall into sin because of the demands of the led.*

*It is not the wish of the Lord that His servants should fall in the course of serving Him or when guiding His people on pilgrimage in the world. Rather, His teaching is that we can avoid fatal pitfalls if we refrain from carnal interpretation of His guidelines or attempting to deviate a little in order to please members of our congregations.*

Good afternoon my wonderful brethren in the Lord, we thank God for another beautiful day that the Lord has given us the opportunity to with ness in the land of the living, may His name alone be glorified in Jesus name amen.

I remembered the last time we discussed it was about repentance and I believe we Leary a lot from it and all our previous posting, may the word of God be rooted in our life in Jesus name amen.

Today we shall be talking about giving our lives to Jesus Christ that is to be Born Again, I want to ask us a great question which is "are you born again", after repenting of our sins, confessing and renouncing them the next thing is to give our life to Jesus Christ, when Jesus steps into our life the old man is us leaves our body and the new life of Christ comes into us and we begin to manifest in the things our Lord Jesus wants us to do, we hate the former life of sin we have been used to and embrace the new life in Christ this is a very great step and junction of turn around in the life of a sinner, when u receive Jesus into your life, u will still need to go through baptism of the Holy Spirit but everything works step by step.

Give your life to Christ today by being Born Again and start up a new life in Christ which leads u to eternity in Christ, don't look down on yourself Jesus is right there waiting for you to turn to Him and u will be glad you did, stay blessed till we meet again to learn more at the foot of Jesus Christ, remain blessed my brethren.

Good morning my friends, I greet everyone in the name of the almighty God, the king of kings, the Lord of lords, the merciful God, the ancient of days, the great I am that I am who has counted us worthy to see another day in the land of the living may His name alone be glorified in Jesus Name Amen.
Today I want to talk to us about REPENTANCE.
what is repentance? This is the ability to sincerely feel remorse, confess and forsaking all our sins, genuine repentance is needed in the life of every christian or human race.
The death of our Lord Jesus Christ gave us a blank cheque and in repentance we have a new life in Him.
The story of the prodigal son in the book of Luke 15:11-32 explains better how we can turn from our old life and return to Jesus Christ who is ever ready and willing to take us back no matter the level of sin we have committed but this must be done in true repentance.
I pray that you will have an encounter with the Holy Spirit today in Jesus name amen.

I great everyone in the name of the almighty God, the all knowing God and the awesome God, all praise to Him alone in Jesus name amen.

Good day to all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the one who has made us and not we ourselves, the God of Heaven and Earth, the one who was, who is and who is to come, may His name alone be glorified.
