OVERCOMING THE STORMS.

“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭4:39‬ ‭KJV‬.

Dearly beloved and friends,storms are very common occurrences in the lives of all human beings on earth in one form or the other.The timing of storms might be very unpredictable; but there is no storm that lasts for ever.

What actually is a storm? a violent disturbance of the atmosphere with strong winds and usually rain, thunder, lightning, or snow.
Or a sudden attack on an erstwhile calm and serene environment.Storms can be physical or spiritual ;whichever be the case,the Lord will calm any storm that comes your way this year.

•“He maketh the storm a calm, So that the waves thereof are still.” Psalm‬ ‭107:29‬.
•“And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.”Luke‬ ‭8:24‬.
•“He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariot in the fire.” Psalm‬ ‭46:9‬.

Examples :of those who survived storms.
1.Joseph:Family sibling rivalry:His unwavering faith in God,focus on his dreams and ultimate forgiveness of his brethren stood him in good stead(Genesis 41:41-43)
2.David: Political maneuvering:Jonathan the natural heir-apparent to the throne of Israel conceded his “position” to David because the Supernatural God stepped in despite the murderous plans of King Saul(1 Samuel 28:12-16;2 Samuel 5:3-5)
3.YOU:Vicissitudes of life:This is a new Year and whatever storm arises in your path of destiny,the Lord will silent it and give you victory without a fight(Psalm 46:10)

What to do:
•Don’t face the storm in your flesh(1 Sam.2:9)
•Let God lead the battle for you(Exodus 15:3)
•Praise the One who never dies(Revelation 1:8)
•Call on Him,even in the storm(Isaiah 43:2)

Main Prayer Point:In Jesus name.
Father,thank You for fighting my battles and stilling the storms for me;thank You for the victory amen.

WRITTEN OFF? YOU WILL BOUNCE BACK.

“Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.” Micah‬ ‭7:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

Dearly beloved and friends,it is normal for people to envy you and want to frustrate you when you are climbing the ladder of greatness and success in any endeavor of life;despite your generosity and sacrifice unto them.

It is equally true that when you fall,they mock and avoid you like plague.Fair weather friends they are!!!.Please rise up and shine again;your downfall is not the end of life(Proverbs 24:16)

Read and meditate on:
•Job‬ ‭19:13‬.•Psalm‬ ‭69:7.•Psalm‬ ‭74:10‬.

Examples:Of those who fell and got up again:
1.Job:Fell from a financial pinnacle to the lowest valley of poverty and misery but God came through for him and doubled his wealth and fortunes(Job 42:12-13).
2.David:He helped the “Area” boys to become mighty men,yet at his darkest hour they thought of stoning him to death but God recovered all for him (1 Samuel 30:6-8).
3.Joseph:His brothers have written him off for death.He never gave up on his dreams and so God promoted him Prime Minister of Egypt
(Genesis 41:41-44)
4.YOU:Down trodden and written off by people?Never despair or fret ;as the Lord God liveth your Sun will rise again(Isaiah 3:10).

What to do:
•Remain completely on the Lord’s side.
•Get yourself thoroughly purged from stains.
•Call on God to reposition you,and set table before you in the presence of your enemies.

Prayer Points:In Jesus name.
1.Father,Arise and let me shine once more.
2.Father,restore all I have lost,and let me serve You like never before: all the days of my life.
3.Father,You are my Shield,Glory and the Lifter up of my head;prove Your Word in my life.

THE FAMILY MENU Sunday 29,August 2021.

VICTORY WITHOUT A FIGHT.

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:57‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Dearly beloved and friends,this world is a theater of series of warfare.Winning or losing any battle is very much dependent on who constitutes your Ally in the battle and the dexterity of your weapons of warfare.
(Romans 8:31;2 Corinthians 10:4)

To always be on the winning side you must make God your Ally and believe and engage in His Word:

•God is the Man of war, the undefeat-able King of heaven and earth (Exodus 15:3)
•He leads the battle,He is the Lord of hosts (Psalm 24:10)
•Jehovah is the God of all flesh and nothing is too hard for Him(Jeremiah 32:17 & 27).
•No one can challenge God’s authority;He is the Almighty ,Supreme and Sovereign.
(Genesis 17:1; Deuteronomy 32:39).
•Put on the whole armour of God(Ephesians 6:11-13).
•Let God take over your battle,He gives victory without a fight on your part(2 Corinthians 2:14)

Examples:
1.Children of Israel:God fought for them and destroyed the Egyptians(Exodus 14:31)
2.Joshua:With Joshua in leadership of Israel,God destroyed Jericho(Joshua 6:16-17).
3.Jehoshaphat:God destroyed the three alien kingdoms that came against Judah;they helped to destroy themselves(2 Chronicles 20:29)
4.YOU:No matter the warfare facing you,call on the Lord and let Him take over the battle and hand victory over to you(Romans 8:37)

What to do:
•Hand over your life and battles over to God.
•Never lean on your own understanding
•Never undermine the enemy;stand firm.
•Praise and thank God for daily victory.

Prayer Points:In Jesus name.
1.Father,thank You for fighting my battles.
2.Father, teach me to to trust you for every step I take in life.
3.Father,let our lives as individual as well as a nation be full of Your glory.
4.Father,please take over the battle of our nations and give us joy,peace and victory.

The same rain that waters bitter leaf waters sugar cane with different taste.
The illustration is that don't be scared on the challenge(s) you are facing, God who created you will solve it all but keep praying.
He only wants to make something good from you.
The challenge(s) is/are not forever, you will pass the test.
Despite all the odds, ups and downs of life, you will always triumph over it all.

LIVE IN THE GLORY.

“Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.” 1 Thess.‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Dearly beloved and friends,every man on earth consciously or otherwise strives to improve his lot one way or the other on a daily basis.No one wants to remain stagnant nor retrogress.
Now that you have been immersed in the wave of glory,shame will never be yours again.Rise up and live in the new wave of glory amen.

More than ever before,your paradigm should shift positively from now on.Read these:

•“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:8‬.

•“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬.

•“And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.” Luke‬ ‭12:15‬.

Examples:
(a)Those whose next steps were worse:
1.Ahab & Jezebel:They moved from idolatry to committing murder;they had a terrible end
(1 Kings 21:25;2 Kings 9:33-37)
2.King Saul:He retrogressed from disobeying God,to attempted murder of David,and slipped down to visiting the witch of Endor before finally committing suicide(1 Samuel 31:3-5).
3.Judas Iscariot:He was greedy ,betrayed Jesus because of money and eventually killed himself(Acts 1:15-20)

(b)Those who progressed from glory to glory:
1.Isaac:In obedience to God,stayed and sowed in a dry land and wax stronger until a whole nation envied him(Genesis 26:12-15)
2.Apostle Paul:From the moment he met Christ,he moved on rapidly(2 Timothy 4:6-8).
3.YOU:You must be focused to improved daily to aspire for your mansion above(John 14:1-4)

What to do:Prepare to meet Thy God.

Prayer Points:
1.Father thank You for how far You have kept me;please keep me till the very end.
2.Father,let my whole life be focused on You not on the passing fancies of this world.
3.Father,please don’t let me miss my mansion in heaven.
4.Father,from now on let it be Jesus and Him alone in all of my life amen.

EMPLOYING THE KEYS OF THE KINGDOM.

“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew‬ ‭16:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

Dearly beloved and friends,when you use a correct key meant for a particular door,that door will automatically respond to it, no matter how big that door is.So also when the correct keys of the Kingdom are genuinely applied, the whole of heaven and earth respond to such keys.(Isaiah 22:22).

Examples of some aspects of the keys?
•Authority over forces of the evil ones
commanded evil spirit in Bar-Jesus and instant answer was given (Acts 13:9-12).

•Authority over God’s creation.
: commanded the rain;the weather obeyed to the letter(James 5:17-18).

•Authority to command blessings.
:At very old age ,he commanded blessings on his children about their future and it was so (Hebrews 11:20).

•Authority to reverse the irreversible.
:The axe head swam,against the natural law of gravity(2 Kings 6:3-6).

•Authority to heal and deliver from disease
:commanded the lame man at the beautiful gate,with instant healing Acts 3:4-8).

•Authority to fulfill purpose and destiny.
@ YOU:Say to yourself “ My tomorrow shall be alright “.Settled (Isaiah 3:10).

What to do:
•Ensure the key of the Word is sharp.
•Endure the key of prayer is fervent/effectual:
•Ensure the key of praise is continuous.
•Ensure the key of worship is uncontaminated.
•Ensure the key of evangelism is pungent.
•Ensure the key of holiness is paramount.
•Ensure the key of humility is not tainted.

Prayer Points:In Jesus name.
1.Father,rekindle the fire of the Kingdom in me.
2.Father,don’t let the enemy wrestle the keys of the Kingdom from me.
3.Father,I reject any counterfeit key from the wicked one and his cohorts.
4.Father,ultimately let the gate of heaven be left ajar for us,your church and this nation.

A Mentor per Excellence! Even at your age Daddy, you are full of internal energy that could crash a casted wall; which spurs you to do great exploits for Christ.your love for God and the way carry us along has drawn many of us to Him. You are truly an inspiration Sir!

May the Lord continue to strengthen you Sir. I pray your Anointing shall not diminish Sir. The glory of God shall continue to boom afresh over your life. You will not fail nor falter in Jesus name. Just like sweetness never leaves honey, sweetness will never leave your life and home in Jesus name 🙏 you are loved, appreciated and celebrated Sir 👏👌

GLORY,THE CRUSHER OF SHAME.

“But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; My glory, and the lifter up of mine head.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Dearly dearly beloved and friends your time to be lifted up has come.With the new wave of glory,the enemies of your destiny are in trouble.For God will empower your glory to crush every programmed wickedness to truncate your destiny.(1 John 3:8b)

Glory is the opposite of shame ,just as light is the opposite of darkness.Every agenda of the kingdom of the devil and his cohorts against God’s eternal plan and glory for you shall not see the light of the day in Jesus name.
(Isaiah 49:24-26)

Examples: Of God’s glory destroying evil:
1.David:The plan of the enemy is to deny David the throne but God chose him above his brothers and also fought Goliath on his behalf
(1 Samuel 16:11-13; 17:45-50).
2.Jabez:The shame of many decades came to an end as God glorified Jabez and made him more honourable that his brethren.
(1 Chronicles 4:9-10)
3.Esther:The planned genocide of her people was crushed by the glory of God in her life.Hence that glory made King Ahasuerus to Favour her(Esther 5:2-3)
4.YOU:As the new wave of glory comes upon you,every thing causing you shame and the like will be completely crushed in Jesus mighty name and God will give you beauty for ashes
(Isaiah 61:1-5)

What to do:
•Align with the Almighty God unreservedly.
•Stand against the wiles of the enemy.
•Cry to God who alone answers prayers.
•Praise Jehovah Nissi the Man of war.

Prayer Points:In Jesus name:
1.Father,thank You for being the lifter up of my head, I am grateful.
2.Father,arise and crush every form of shame in our lives,families and nations.
3.Father,prove Your greatness one more time and wipe put all our enemies to complete silence.God will get angry with the wicked.
4.Father for the rest of our lives;be Thou our shield and glory and restore our joy totally.

NO MORE A BABY.

“Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.” Isaiah‬ ‭28:9‬ ‭KJV‬.

Dearly beloved and friends,each day that passes,you are getting older and nearing the time of departure from this earth.But are you really growing or you want to remain a baby?
(Ephesians 4:14)

Your commitment to God, God’s work and responses to people and situations around you,will show who you really are in particular.

Please answer the following questions:
•Do you get easily irritated if your idea or opinion is not acceptable to others?
•Do you get annoyed or nag at every little uneasiness or discomfort that comes your way?
•Do you feel like not going to church because you are bored with some church activities?
•Do you prefer to watch television programs than to desire the Word of God in fellowship with others?
•Do you feel you can do better than others spiritually,given the chance in your church ?

If the answers to the questions above are in the affirmative,in most of the cases,then you are still a baby in the Lord no matter how many calendar years ago you got converted.

Examples:
1.Cain Vs Abel:Immaturity made him to misbehave and to kill his brother.
2.King Saul Vs David:Insecurity and envy made him chase David for days in the wilderness.

What to do:
1.Grow in grace & knowledge(2 Peter 3:18).
2.Engage in strong meat(Ephesians 5:14)
3.Put away childish things(1 Corinthians 13:11).
4.Fight the good fight of faith(1 Timothy 6:12)
5.Be filled with the HolySpirit(Galatians 5:22)

Prayer Points:In Jesus name:
1.Father,I surrender all to You,let me stop struggling but be focused on Your will for me.
2.Father,please purge me of all hindrances to my genuine maturity and fruitlessness.
3.Father,help me to recover lost ground; let me spend and be spent for You.

ARISE AND TAKE YOUR RIGHTFUL POSITION.
