Just like drugs have a curative effect on health disorders, so also a "merry heart" has a curative effect on life disorders.

When things go wrong in your life, apply Joy & laughter - morning & evening. As u bring out joy from within, it will attract corresponding events that provoke happiness from without. Don't wait 4 things to change before applying Joy. Joy is your strength, your advantage for turning things around.

Rev 2:7 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches …”

Dear friends, it’s important to understand that there are divine plans, purpose & schedules for humanity which are birthed in heaven, that will affect your earthly life, whether you know them or not, whether you believe them or not, whether you hear them or not. Just like rainfall affects everybody whether or not you believe in rain, whether or not you hear about rain ahead of time.

The Holy Spirit as your Helper speaks to you directly & indirectly about these divine plans and purposes to enable you make the best decisions in life, decisions that leverage on God plans/schedules, rather than decisions which go against the tide of Heavens activity and lead to fruitless motion on earth.

The lesson here is that, when you get these important communications from the Spirit, you can avoid becoming a victim of things you don’t know; you can take advantage of unique opportunities; you can rise on the wings of circumstances/events that make others fall.

May you hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches in this season in Jesus name.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned and saw under the sun that, the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.

In the race of life, no matter the level of a person’s talent/skill, training/education, exposure/environment; their degree of success in their chosen field of life depends on what they make of the opportunities that come their way in various times & seasons of life. If you are old enough, you will have seen that the 1st or highly talented persons in school years may not be 1st in life and the last in class may not be last in life. What people do with their opportunities majorly accounts for this paradox.

Therefore, it is wise to develop oneself in skills, training, exposure, etc but more importantly, be alert to the opportunities of life. Recognize when the doors of a lifetime opportunity opens to you, then seize it forcefully. This I pray happens for you, in Jesus name.

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven… I heard … saying, "Come up here…” Rev 4:1. In life & destiny, there are spiritual ‘doors’ and there are physical ‘doors.’ When this spiritual door opened to Apostle John, the deep insights he recorded in Revelation were revealed to him. As a result, the scope & impact of his destiny was expanded over space & time such that after 2000 years, his works are still a core of church material.

Whenever a person encounters open doors in the spirit, the scope & impact of his/her destiny gets expanded over space & time. A local champion in business/career/ministry, etc can be turned into a national or international champion when spiritual doors open.

May you encounter such open doors in the spirit over your life & destiny this week & beyond in Jesus name.

For the past 25 years Pst Dele Osunmakinde has been an undeniable pacesetter. As a teenager, before I got into Univ of Ibadan to study medicine, I prayed that God will connect me with strategic destiny provoking relationships. Meeting PD, was an unequivocal answer to that prayer. Listening to him as a 100L student set a fire in my spirit that still burns. He told of how he 1st stepped into UI removing his shoes at the gate to possess the land, at at time when I’m sure other Jambites were merely struggling to catch “bedspace” in the land. I followed him everywhere in those early days of VHF and into ministry in TBC Abuja as will be the case for over 2 decades. So, it’s our great honor to host him & receive grace at BGC’s Outpouring Conference on Thursday July 7th. Join us in Abuja & join us online.

From time to time in life, everyone needs certain ‘doors’ to open for progress to happen; financial or business or career doors, or relationship/marital or ministry doors, etc. Stagnation happens, when doors don’t open. Paul’s story did not end as stated above because prison doors opened for him in Phillipi. Unopened doors can disfigure a person’s destiny.

Have you been feeling stagnated or limited, despite all effort? You must engage the one who holds the Keys of David, that opens all doors and no one can shut. Rev 3:7
