ECWA Trustees Lodge Commissioned at 2026 General Church Council

Celebrations continued today as the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) marked another milestone with the commissioning and dedication of the new ECWA Trustees Lodge, to the glory of God.

The edifice was commissioned by the ECWA President, Rev. Dr. Job Ayuba Bagat, during the ongoing 73rd ECWA General Church Council (GCC) meeting holding at the ECWA Headquarters in Jos, Plateau State capital. All members of the General Church Council were in attendance.

Speaking at the event, Rev. Dr. Bagat stated that the lodge was conceived by faith and executed by faith. He expressed gratitude to the past leaders who initiated the project and all District Church Councils (DCCs) for contributing their 15% remittance, which made the project a reality.

Prior to the commissioning, brief presentations were made by Trustee Prof. Basil Nwosu, Architect Elder Iro Yusuf, and Engineer Mr. Stephen G. Paul.
Responding on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Basil Nwosu, Trustee zone 9, thanked the church’s leadership for considering to build such a beautiful remarkable and state of the art edifice for the Trustees. He further assured that the Board of Trustees will continue to support the ECWA Executive and the General Church Council for the continued growth of ECWA.

To God be the glory.

Something Big is Happening Tomorrow!

ECWA Family, Bakin Kogi LC
If you think tomorrow is "just another Sunday," think again. We aren’t just meeting for a service; we are gathering for an encounter. Whether you’ve had a mountain-top week or you’re dragging yourself to the finish line, tomorrow is designed for you. We are making room for the Holy Spirit to move, and we want you in the room when He does.

What to Expect Tomorrow:

Praise:
Our worship team is ready to lead us into the heavens. Come ready to leave your heavy burdens at the door and lift up a sound of victory!

A Word in Due Season:
Pastor has been locked in with God, and there is a fresh, "now" word that is going to challenge your perspective and fuel your faith.

The Power of Agreement:
There is a unique shift that happens when we pray together. Expect chains to break and clarity to come.

Family & Connection From the youngest to the oldest, there’s a place for you to belong. Plus, the conversations are always a highlight!

When: Tomorrow, Sunday Morning
Time: 9:am
Where: ECWA Bakin Kogi LC
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20

Challenge:

Don't come alone! Reach out to one person tonight a friend, a neighbor, or someone you haven't seen in a while and invite them to sit with you.

We can't wait to see your faces and see what God is going to do. See you in the morning!

THURSDAY CRY & DECLARATION

GOD IS STILL OUR REFUGE!

Beloved Family,
We cannot ignore the shadows over our land. Our hearts are heavy with the reports of killings, the terror of kidnappings, and the activities of bandits that try to make us prisoners in our own homes. To those among us who are trembling, whose hope is leaking, and who feel like God has looked away this word is for you.

Today, we lift a standard against the spirit of fear and violence:

The Hedge of Fire
We declare that according to Zechariah 2:5, God is a wall of fire around you and your household. Whether you travel by road or sleep in your bed, the kidnapper’s eyes are blinded to your path!

Judgment on the Wicked
We decree that the sword of the Lord shall pursue those who delight in shedding innocent blood. Their counsel is frustrated, and their hideouts are exposed by the light of God!

No More Loss
We stand in the gap for those currently in captivity we decree their supernatural release! We speak comfort to the families who have lost loved ones; may the God of All Comfort hold you close.

Our Borders are Blessed
We reject the tag of "victim" over Nigeria. We declare our communities are "No-Go Zones" for the enemy. Every bandit and terrorist shall encounter the Lion of the Tribe of Judah!

"Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me..." (Psalm 23:4)

Don't let the news dampen your fire. The enemy uses terror to silence the Church, but we will pray even louder! God is not sleeping. He is the Mighty Man in Battle, and He is fighting for Nigeria.

Strength for the Finish!

"Beloved family, as we stand on this Thursday, we declare that you are not just finishing the week, but you are finishing strong!

Scripture says that the path of the righteous shines brighter and brighter until the full day (Proverbs 4:18).

Therefore, we decree that your today is better than your yesterday.

Every mountain standing between you and your weekend breakthrough is being leveled by the power of God.

May the grace that sustained you on Monday multiply for you today.

You shall not be weary, you shall not faint, and you shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!
Have a victorious Thursday!"

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.”

Matthew 28:6

Beloved in Christ, today we celebrate the greatest victory in history the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! The empty tomb declares that death has been defeated, sin has lost its grip, and hope is alive forevermore.

Easter is not just a story of yesterday; it is the power of God at work today. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is alive in us, giving us strength to rise above fear, despair, and every chain that holds us captive.

As we rejoice in this glorious day, let us remember:

Resurrection brings renewal Whatever seems dead in your life, God can breathe new life into it.

Resurrection brings peace
The risen Christ meets us in our doubts and fears, saying, “Peace be with you.”

Resurrection brings mission Just as the disciples were sent out, we too are called to proclaim the good news of salvation to the world.

So, let us walk boldly in resurrection power, knowing that because He lives, we can face tomorrow. May this Easter ignite fresh faith, renewed joy, and unshakable hope in your hearts.

Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Hallelujah!
