A CALL TO PURITY: THE CLOCK IS TICKING.
TO MY DEAR FRIENDS
I write this with a heavy heart and a spirit of deep urgency. We are living in a time where the world’s standards are rapidly invading the Church, and nowhere is this more visible than in how we present ourselves. I am pleading with you today: it is time to repent of the sin of immodest dressing before we stand before the Great Judge.
The way we dress is not just a "fashion choice"—it is a reflection of the heart. When we choose to reveal what should be covered, we are not just following a trend; we are participating in a spirit of lust and pride that defies the holiness of God.
God’s Word is not silent on this. We are commanded to represent His holiness:
• 1 Timothy 2:9: "I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes."
• 1 Corinthians 6:19-20: "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit... Therefore honor God with your bodies."
We must ask ourselves: Are we helping our brothers and sisters stay pure, or are we becoming a snare? Jesus gave a terrifying warning in Matthew 18:7: "Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!" If your attire ignites lust in another, you share in that sin. We cannot claim to love God while wearing clothes that provoke the very sins He hates.
Heaven is real, but so is Hell, and so is the Judgment Seat of Christ. We will each give an account of how we used our bodies and how we influenced others. We cannot flirt with the world’s "nakedness" and expect to be clothed in His righteousness.
• The Worldly Spirit: Seeking "likes" and validation through skin-tight, low-cut, or transparent clothing.
• The Godly Spirit: Seeking to be "clothed with humility" (1 Peter 5:5) and hiding our glory so that God’s glory can be seen.
Friends, please hear me: The time is short. Do not let your wardrobe be your witness against you on the Last Day.
Let us strip off the garments of vanity and put on the robes of holiness. Let us repent, change our ways, and honor the God who gave His life to redeem us—body, soul, and spirit.
The King is coming. Will you be found holy?
