*PRESIDENTIAL PRESS RELEASE*
Commemorating the 2025 Childrenโs Day Celebration
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
On this auspicious occasion of the 2025 Childrenโs Day, the leadership of the Association of Model Islamic Schools (AMIS) Nigeria extends her heartfelt congratulations and warmest wishes to all children across our beloved nation.
This day is a powerful reminder of the Divine trust bestowed upon us by Allah the Most High; the trust of nurturing, protecting, and educating the future torchbearers of our Ummah and our nation.
Children are a mercy from Allah (SWT) and the builders of tomorrowโs society. They represent innocence, hope, resilience, and untapped potential. As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: โEvery one of you is a shepherd, and every one of you is responsible for his flock.โ It is, therefore, our collective duty to ensure that our children are raised in an environment that nourishes their minds, guards their morals, and empowers their faith.
AMIS Nigeria stands firm in its commitment to providing holistic, balanced, and value based education across Islamic schools in the country. We recognize that in the face of growing moral decay, global instability, and educational challenges, the role of Islamic schools has never been more critical. We must rise to the call of moulding children who are academically excellent, spiritually grounded, and morally upright.
On this special day, we urge all stakeholders; parents, teachers, community leaders, and government authorities to invest more intentionally in the future of our children. Let us build systems that protect them from abuse, educate them with purpose, inspire them with vision, and lead them with compassion.
To our dear children: know that you are cherished. Your dreams are valid.
Your lives matter. And your presence is a blessing.
AMIS Nigeria celebrates you today and always.
May Allah continue to guide, protect, and uplift every child in Nigeria and across the world. May Allah make you leaders of the righteous, a source of joy to their parents, and the pride of this Ummah.
Happy Childrenโs Day!
Long Live AMIS Nigeria!
Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

Mallam Aliu Badmus
