CHRISTMAS PRISON OUTREACH PROJECT 2025
Update & Call for Support
Dear Esteemed Brothers,
As part of our annual commitment to service, compassion and giving back, the CKC Abuja Old Boys Association will be undertaking our 2025 Christmas Prison Outreach to the Gwagwalada Dukpa Prisons this December.
1. OUTREACH DATE & LOGISTICS
Date: Saturday, 13th December 2025
Departure Time: 11:00 AM prompt
Departure Point: 1st 40 Hotel, Wuse 2, Abuja
Destination: Gwagwalada Dukpa Prisons
Transportation arrangements are in place for participating members and donated items.
2. CURRENT SITUATION AT THE PRISON
The prison currently houses over 70 inmates, many of whom are in need of basic daily necessities, spiritual support, medical attention and legal assistance. This outreach is aimed at restoring hope, dignity and relief during the Christmas season.
3. ITEMS NEEDED (URGENT)
We are calling on all Old Boys to support with cash or in-kind donations of the following:
Food Items
Rice
Beans
Garri
Sachet milk
Toiletries & Personal Care
Bathing soap
Detergent
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Vaseline
Spiritual Support
Bibles (very important)
All donated items should be delivered to the Secretariat or as directed by your Set Representatives ahead of the outreach date.
4. LEGAL & MEDICAL SUPPORT
As part of this year’s outreach, we also intend to:
Provide basic legal aid services
Identify inmates eligible for bail and support their release where possible
Offer basic medical checks and consultations
We hereby call on all lawyers, doctors, nurses and health professionals within our Alumni to kindly reach out directly to the EXCO to volunteer their professional services for this project.
5. FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS
Members who are unable to donate items physically are encouraged to support through cash donations toward procurement of supplies and legal processes.

6. WHY THIS MATTERS
This outreach goes beyond charity. It is an expression of:

Hope restoration
Many of these inmates simply need a second chance, encouragement and basic support to survive.
7. CALL TO ACTION
We humbly ask every Old Boy to:
Donate at least one item or make a financial contribution
Encourage your Set members to participate
Join us physically on the outreach if you are available
Share this notice widely within your Set groups
No contribution is too small. Together, we can make a meaningful difference this Christmas.
