Let’s reflect on the sacrifice.
The joke is a deep and impactful one.

Isaac was a symbol of the sacrificial LAMB of Jesus Christ.
Jesus was led knowing that he was the sacrifice yet he didn’t argue, you can say the same for Isaac.

Abraham greatly loved his son Isaac but had made up his mind to sacrifice him to God. God in his infinite mercy and unconditional love sent His only Begotten son to die for our sins.

Sacrifice is the true nature of love.
You cannot say that you love someone and you’ve never sacrificed anything for them.

That begs the question-
What are you sacrificing to build your relationship with Jesus this week?🤔🤔
