The Catholic Altar Servers of Abuja Province

The Catholic Altar Servers of Abuja Province are a special group of young people who serve God with love, respect, and joy. They assist the priest at the altar during Mass and other church celebrations, helping to make the worship more orderly, prayerful, and beautiful.

Their service is more than a duty, it is a calling. Each time they carry the cross, light the candles, or ring the bells, they show their love for God and their desire to serve Him faithfully. Through their quiet and humble actions, they teach others that true greatness comes from serving with a sincere heart.

The altar servers of Abuja Province also set a good example for other young Catholics by showing discipline, respect, teamwork, and dedication to the Church. They show that God is pleased not only by our words but also by our actions done in love and obedience.

We celebrate and appreciate all altar servers across the Abuja Ecclesiastical Province, which includes the:

Diocese of Gboko
Diocese of Katsina-Ala
Diocese of Otukpo

We sincerely thank all Chaplains for their spiritual guidance, patience, and fatherly support to the altar servers. Your care and encouragement help them grow in faith and responsibility.

To all Presidents and leaders, we appreciate your hard work, unity, and commitment in guiding and inspiring the members. You have helped to keep the spirit of service alive in every diocese.

Together, you make the altar a place of true worship and beauty. May God bless the Catholic Altar Servers of Abuja Province, reward their leaders, and continue to strengthen every young heart that chooses to serve Him faithfully at His holy altar.

Most Holy Father, on this joyful occasion of your birthday, we, the Catholic Altar Servers of Abuja Province, give thanks to the Almighty for the precious gift of your life and your fatherly leadership in the Church. As the successor of St. Peter (Matthew 16:18-19) and visible shepherd of Christ’s flock, you continue to inspire us with your humility, wisdom, and steadfast witness to the Gospel (John 10:11).
