CHILDREN’S DAY SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS

Today’s service was filled with joy, love, and inspiration as the children beautifully took over the church service in celebration of Children’s Day. From prayers to praise and worship, drama presentation, and the Word, they ministered with confidence and excellence.

A powerful message was shared on the importance of parents disciplining their children in love. The children also presented a touching drama about a young man who encountered Christ while in the university and later led his single mother to salvation through the transformation she saw in his life.

The congregation was also excited to warmly welcome back the Presiding Bishop after almost two months away on mission work within and outside Nigeria. The joy was overwhelming as he went round greeting members, expressing how much he had missed the church family.

He further taught on the power of the mind and warned against self-imposed limitations, using the illustration of an ant trapped within a circle drawn with a pen, showing how many people are limited not by ability, but by mindset.

It was truly a refreshing, impactful, and joyful service.
Glory to God. Hallelujah!

SUNDAY SERVICE EXCERPTS | FAITH-DRIVEN ACTIONS — MOVING BEYOND WISHFUL THINKING

Today’s service was a strong reminder that biblical faith is not laziness, it is obedience in action. Faith is more than believing God’s promises; it is trusting Him enough to move.

We were challenged not to confuse faith with waiting. Faith without works is dead (James 2:17). Nothing changes when belief is not followed by action.

You can wish for confidence and still avoid opportunities.
You can wish for change and still repeat bad habits.
Wishful thinking without action is dangerous.

True faith takes steps even when conditions are not perfect. Delayed obedience is still disobedience. Fear must not stop us from moving toward purpose, because failure is not the worst thing, the worst is refusing to act at all.

Today, we were encouraged to stop making excuses, rise above fear, and take bold steps of faith toward God’s promises.

Your faith requires action. Make that move!
