Shalom beloved family and friends.

Text: 2 Corinthians 2:14
"Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place."

*THE TRIUMPHANT LIFE IN CHRIST*

We have the heritage of triumph in Christ at all times and in all situations. This is something to rejoice about; it is not just sometimes, but always.

We thank God for the grace to be born again in Christ. It is a significant privilege that provides us with a platform guaranteeing our constant triumphs over life circumstances.

The believer's triumphant life is rooted in Jesus' victory on the cross.

Scripture does not suggest that challenges will not come to a believer. Rather, it assures us that God has already determined our triumph over them, no matter the circumstances.

Child of God, you may be facing a challenge right now. Our text today reassures us that God has already declared our victory over that situation.

Based on this scripture, I declare that you will overcome all challenges that may arise, including the ones you're confronting right now, in Jesus' name.

Our faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross is the key to our triumph. Believers place their trust in God and boldly proclaim victory in the face of difficulties. By doing so, they harness the power of God rather than relying solely on their own abilities.

The concluding part of our opening text indicates that our continual victories over the challenges we face are a means by which God spreads the knowledge of the beauty of life in Christ.

When we triumph over what the enemy uses against us, we demonstrate to the world how powerful life in Christ truly is. This is how the world will come to know the strength of our God.

Child of God, the reality is that through Christ, we are more than conquerors, and I see you triumphing over the challenges you are currently facing in Jesus' name.

* *
Thank God for the triumphant life you live through Christ Jesus.

Declare that you are an overcomer through Christ Jesus and will overcome all the challenges that Satan may send your way.

Also, declare that all situations and circumstances are turning around for your good, and you shall live in good health and prosper in every aspect of your life in the name of Jesus.

Text: Ephesians 4:32
*And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.*

BE KIND-HEARTED AND FORGIVING

One of the essential aspects of practically expressing God's love is forgiveness. God's kind of love, unlike natural human love, is selfless and forgiving.

Apostle Paul, in our opening text, urges Christians to be kind and tenderhearted toward one another by walking in forgiveness, just as God has forgiven us in Christ Jesus.

The question now is, can we love and forgive each other as God forgives? Yes, we can because, at the new birth, the Holy Spirit shed abroad in our hearts the love of God. (Romans 5:5). This means that believers have God's love in their hearts and are capable of forgiving wrong deeds towards them.

Forgiveness does not mean there are no offenses. In fact, there can be no need for forgiveness if there are no offenses. Forgiveness involves letting go of the pain caused by offenses by releasing both the offender and the offense from your heart.

The flesh will always seek to gratify and justify itself at all times. That's why forgiveness is challenging for believers who walk in the flesh rather than in the Spirit. For a believer to walk in forgiveness, he or she must bring the flesh under control to yield to the love of God in their Spirit. (1 Corinthians 9:27, Galatians 5:16–17).

Often, I hear believers say, "Pastor, if you knew what they do to me, you would understand why I hate them." It is like saying that when the offense is small, then we can forgive. However, no offense in Christ is too big to forgive. Child of God. No offense is too big to keep you in hatred or make you unforgiving.

An unforgiving spirit can hinder your faith and prayers (Mark 11:23–25).

Jesus taught in Matthew 5:23–24 that the blessing of our offering will be hindered if we hold grudges against others.

Child of God, let go of the unforgiving spirit so that your faith, prayers, and offerings will not be hindered.

Take God at His word—He has forgiven you. Receive His forgiveness. Forgive yourself for past mistakes and forgive those who often hurt you.

* *

Thank God for the blessing of forgiving you of your sins.

Declare that, through the love of God in your spirit, you will walk in love with everyone around you and forgive anyone who offends you. In the name of Jesus.

Text: Mark 11:23:
*Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. (AMPC)*

WATCH WHAT YOU SAY, WORDS ARE POWERFUL

It is often said that a mouth is a closed destiny. This is true because what we say matters a lot to the outcome of our lives.

Child of God, life is more spiritual than physical. The spiritual realms control our physical existence.

A man of God once said that whatever is too big for your mouth to proclaim, will be too big for your life to experience.

In the book of Numbers 14:28 God said to Moses concerning the children of Israel, "As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:" This is to say that what we say matters to God.

The children of Israel who said they were not able to enter Canaan could not. Caleb and Joshua said they were well able, and they entered unharmed despite the giants occupying the land.

In our text, Jesus confirms that we will have what we say if we do not doubt but believe what we say.

The words we speak influence the outcome of our lives. This is why we must watch what we say.

Child God, you can remove the mountains (obstacles) that are blocking your ways and chances in life by your words.

Brethren, I tell you, Satan can be stopped from stealing the peace of your family, from killing the joy of your life, and from destroying your destiny by speaking the right words to address him in the realms of the spirit.

When Satan attacked Jesus after Jesus fasted for forty days and forty nights in Luke 4:1–13, the bible says Jesus fought back and defeated him with His word.

So child of God, look out for what God said in his word about your situation and declare it back to the devil. The Bible says the word of God is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). This implies that when we speak the word of God we attack the devil with a sharp sword in the realms of the spirit.

* *
Thank God for the promise to confirm his word that we declare with signs and wonders.

Pray and declare the restoration of whatever the devil may have stolen from your life and your family in the name of Jesus.

Boldly declare every "mountain" and obstacle that may be hindering your progress to be removed and cast out of your way in the name of Jesus.

Shalom, beloved family and friends,

Text: Jeremiah 29:11
*“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”*

GOD HAS GOOD AND PERFECT PLANS FOR YOU

Our opening text emphasizes the truth that God has a good plan for everyone He created. No matter your current circumstances, God has a plan of peace and progress for you and your family.

God's plans for our lives are perfect, even when we might think otherwise. The journey toward fulfilling God's plans can be difficult and narrow. However, it will not fail us.

Often, many people misunderstand the process leading to the fulfillment of God's plans, seeing it as suffering. The journey may not be comfortable, but it will definitely lead you to the peace and comfort you seek.

Think about Joseph: it was not easy for him to be sold into slavery, nor was it simple to be imprisoned. Yet, those trials were the path that led him to the palace, where he ultimately found comfort and fulfilled his destiny.

Child of God, don’t give up on your vibrant destiny because of the temporary challenges you face. Ensure that, in all situations, you stay faithful and committed to following God's plans for your life.

Jesus wept on the cross of Calvary, but He prioritized God's will over giving up His journey.

I pray for God's grace to keep you strong and to lead you triumphantly through whatever challenges you face, in the name of Jesus.

Beloved, I assure you that God has good thoughts about you. His plan will bring peace amid whatever is challenging you at this moment, in Jesus' name.

* *
Thank God for His good and perfect plan for your life.

Pray for God's will to be fulfilled in your work, studies, family, and all areas of your life, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Declare that from today, you receive the grace to be committed to following the process that leads to the fulfillment of your divine destiny irrespective of how rough it may be.

Shalom, beloved family and friends.

Text: Matthew 19:26
*But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”*

REMOVE ALL LIMITS ON YOUR FAITH IN GOD

What seems impossible with men can be easily achieved with God. The challenges that look insurmountable become possible for those who have faith in God and walk by faith, not by sight.

Sometimes, believers put limits on how far faith can go.

Many believe that God can heal minor ailments like headaches or discomforts, but when faced with terminal illnesses like cancer, their faith weakens, leading to doubt.

Child of God, nothing is impossible for anyone who walks by faith in God. In Mark 9:23, Jesus declared, "All things are possible to him who has faith."

The real issue is not the severity of the sickness; the greater challenge is doubt. If you stand firm in your faith, you remain unshakable even in life-threatening situations.

Think about Lazarus; he had been dead for four days and was already buried when Jesus arrived at his grave. His sister Mary said that if Jesus had come earlier, perhaps faith could have healed him, but now, with Lazarus dead and buried, faith seemed useless. Martha echoed her sister's words, noting the stench and declaring that all hope was gone.

Jesus told them that if they could have faith, it was not too late for their brother to rise from the grave. After Jesus prayed the prayer of faith, Lazarus was not only resurrected but also healed from the illness that had caused his death.

Child of God, the lesson here is that no situation is too far gone for faith to turn around and restore.

I declare that by faith, every situation you think is humanly impossible will be restored in the name of Jesus.

Remove the limits on your faith and see the possibilities that faith brings amid human impossibilities.

** **
Thank God for making a way where there was no way.

Declare by faith that nothing shall be impossible for you.

Declare that you are an overcomer and that you will triumph over all challenges the enemy throws your way in the name of Jesus.

Text: 2 Corinthians 10:4:
*For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;*

*UPROOTING THE SPIRIT OF HATRED AND BITTERNESS*

Spiritual problems require spiritual solutions. When you are hated and constantly under attack by people who think you are unworthy of life, know that you are engaged in a spiritual battle, not a physical one.

It is a spiritual attack when people make up lies and conspire to kill others without cause. It is a severe spiritual problem when hatred causes individuals to see others’ existence as a torment.

Satan is the father of lies and the advocate for hatred. These are his primary means of destroying people. This way, Satan kills both victim and perpetrator.

The challenge is that people often try to solve this satanic spiritual issue with physical remedies. This approach will not succeed. It calls for a spiritual solution.

Jesus, as the Father of all spirits, can resolve all spiritual problems. He is the Truth that heals hatred and exposes lies in people's hearts. When we come to Him with our struggles, He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Our scripture states that spiritual weapons are not carnal but are mightier. They can demolish the evil imaginations Satan plants in the hearts of people to foster hatred.

While an AK-47 can kill those you hate, after you have eliminated your enemies, the hatred inside you can turn against those you conspired with. To stop this evil, hatred must be replaced with love.

A spiritual approach to this kind of spiritual warfare involves replacing hate with love in people's hearts.

Satan has used this weapon to dismantle families, cities, and even nations.

This is one of the biggest challenges today: the widespread hatred among people. Political leaders often exploit this division for their own advantage.

I pray for an end to this evil in families, which Satan has torn apart because of hatred, in the name of Jesus.

I pray that love will triumph over hatred in our nation, in the name of Jesus.

* *
Thank God for His love, which gave Jesus to the world for our salvation.

Declare that God's love is in your heart and that you will spread His love to everyone in your circle of influence, in the name of Jesus.

Text: Philippians 3:13
*Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,*

*DON'T BE DISTRACTED*

According to the scriptures, we are all in a race in this life we live on earth (1 Corinthians 9:24). Like a physical race in sports, complete focus on the finish line is essential to win the race of life.

To be focused, in the context of this study, is to concentrate your effort on what is necessary until you fulfill your divine purpose in life.

You may think that it is almost over for you and there is nothing much left to achieve. Such thoughts can lead to depression and self-doubt. Satan is behind those thoughts, aiming to distract you.

Child of God, a lot can still change and make a significant difference, no matter how long it has been or how bad things seem.

The good news is that vision speaks at the end, not at the beginning (Habakkuk 2:3). That is why we need the perseverance to stay on track until the end.

Often, our focus in life gets diverted when we encounter resistance on the way to our goal. In seeking alternatives, many options may surface and seem more promising, but in reality, they are merely distractions that take us away from achieving our main purpose or vision in life.

Distractions are those things that hinder our opportunities by giving us a safe landing that ultimately leads to the destruction of our vision or purpose.

The key to maintaining focus, as revealed in our opening text, is to forget what may have happened in the past.

You may have tried many things that didn’t work. Don't give up on your dream. Keep your eyes on the goal and try again. Don't change your goal because of temporary obstacles. You can change your approach, but never your vision.

I pray that you will overcome distractions and focus your efforts on the path that leads to the fulfillment of your goals for the rest of this year, in the name of Jesus.

* *
Thank God in advance for the fulfillment of all His plans for your life this year.

Pray against distractions, double-mindedness, and instability in pursuing God's purpose for your life.

Declare that satanic plans to distract you have failed, and you shall fulfill your colorful destiny in Jesus’ name.

Text: Colossians 1:10
*That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;*

*OUR FRUITFULNESS IN GOOD WORKS IS PLEASING TO GOD*

Living a lifestyle that will be pleasing to God should be the desire of every true believer. God is pleased with us when we obey His word and live according to His word.

Our opening text provided us with insight into how we can live our lives in a way that always honors and pleases the Lord. The scripture says God is pleased with us when we are fruitful in every good work and are ever-increasing in the knowledge of God.

As we progress in doing good, we are fruitful in good works, which brings joy and glory to God. That is to say, when we have outstanding results in our work and dealings with others, God is happy and pleased with us.

Hear what the Bible said in John 15:8 "When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine."*(AMPC).

The proof that we are true disciples of Jesus is to be fruitful or make remarkable progress in all our endeavors, especially in our relationship with other people as we do our work or job.

God created us and built in us the capacity to be fruitful. In addition, we are redeemed in Christ and the Holy Spirit is now living in us to give us the ability to produce supernatural results in the works of our hands. Hallelujah!

You can not be stranded or frustrated by any difficulty that satan may sponsor in your work in Jesus' name. You are more than a conqueror and you shall overcome all the challenges in the name of Jesus.

* *
Thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit to inspire us unto fruitfulness.

Pray and declare that "You can do all things through Christ that is in you, who is vitalizing your mortal body and infusing supernatural ability in you".

Shalom, esteemed family and friends.

Text: Galatians 5:16–17;
*16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.*

*17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.*

*THE FLESH IS CONTRARY TO THE SPIRIT*

The five physical senses are important for engaging with the physical realm. However, if they are not kept in check, they become the greatest enemies to living a fulfilling life in Christ.

To be guided in life by uncontrolled senses is what the Bible calls being carnally minded. The Bible states, "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace" (Romans 8:6).

In our opening text, the Bible tells us that the flesh lusts against the Spirit, meaning that living according to the senses is opposed to living in the Spirit.

Many believers struggle because they are overwhelmed by their flesh (senses), making it difficult for them to follow the Spirit.

You cannot follow the flesh and experience the results of following the Spirit. Following the Spirit brings supernatural results, while following the senses yields natural results.

The senses are what the Bible refers to as the flesh. This includes emotions, desires, and the thoughts that satisfy the sinful nature of the natural man.

For believers to live out the righteousness they received through faith in Christ, it is essential to walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh. This is exactly what Apostle Paul emphasizes in our text.

Walking in the Spirit simply means living your life according to God's Word. Jesus said in John 6:63, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: *the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.*"

The Word of God and the Spirit of God are aligned. So, if you desire to walk in God's Spirit, follow what His Word says instead of what the world promotes.

Satan is the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), and he rules by the power of the " ": the senses (sight, hearing, taste, feelings, smell). Therefore, living according to what you see or hear in the world leads to fulfilling Satan's desires rather than God's will for your life.

In Genesis, the Bible recounts that Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden tree after Satan caused them to see and desire the fruit. Before that, they were walking in the Spirit by following God's Word regarding the tree.

When you follow God's Word, you fulfill His divine will. But when you succumb to your senses, you’re more likely fulfilling Satan's desires, because he uses the senses to cause disobedience.

Social media platforms are being used to promote vices and sexually explicit content aimed at drawing people away from obedience to God.

The world makes disobedience to God look attractive. Evil continues to rise daily everywhere.

That's why it’s crucial to be cautious about what the world promotes versus what God's Word teaches.

I pray for you that you will fulfill God's purpose for your life in Jesus' name.

* *
Thank God for the guidance of the Holy Spirit that leads you to do His will.

Pray and ask for grace to walk in the Spirit at all times, regardless of circumstances, in Jesus' name.

Text: 1 Timothy 6:12
*Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.*

LAY HOLD ON ETERNAL LIFE

According to scriptures, mankind was created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26), which implies that we are spirits like God. Like all spirits, mankind was created to live eternally.

That is the truth, brothers and sisters. We are actually spirits but living on earth in a body. Our bodies last as long as we are alive on earth. When we die physically, what really ceases to exist is our bodies. It is our bodies that are buried. Our spirits continue to live in eternity.

The Bible says the body returns to where it came from—the earth. And the real us, that is, our spirit, returns to eternity.

Child of God, we will all live on either side of eternity. The truth about eternal life has not changed. This is what the Bible says: we will either live eternally with Jesus or in hellfire.

The choice of which side of eternity to be on at the end of life on earth is not decided when we die. No. It is decided while we are alive on earth. If you don't decide for Jesus on earth, you cannot live with Him in eternity.

Our opening text urges us to fight the good fight of faith. You see, many people read this scripture and stop there. We often quote or even preach this portion of Scripture in isolation from the second part, which emphasizes how to fight the good fight of faith. The Bible says, *"LAY HOLD ON ETERNAL LIFE"*.

Child of God, this is the key to the good fight of faith—that is, to fight by laying hold of eternal life with Christ.

Simply put, the good fight of faith is the fight against anything that could prevent you from spending eternity with Christ.

You see, child of God, whenever you act in faith, and that act leads you to hell, then that fight of faith is not a good one. In fact, it is very bad and it is not even faith at all.

Child of God, this is an encouragement for us to live by faith that is conscious of eternal life with Christ. This is what is missing, which results in the reckless lifestyles we are seeing in the body of Christ today.

Our opening text says, "We are called for this. To live for Christ."

I pray for the grace of God to help us in this good fight of faith. By the grace of God, I see you winning victoriously in this "faith fight" in Jesus' name.

* *
Thank God for the redemption of your soul from eternal condemnation into eternal salvation.

Thank God for the recreation of your spirit, so you can partake of the divine nature in Christ Jesus.

Declare that, as for you and your household, you will serve the Lord, Jesus, and be committed to the advancement of His kingdom.

Saturday, May 2nd, 2026.

Shalom, highly esteemed family and friends,

Text: Isaiah 60:14:
*The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.*

IT PAYS TO SERVE THE LORD

God uses believers to fulfill His purposes on earth. But He is not only a user; He also rewards those who serve His purposes.

Let me say that it pays to serve God. The Bible says that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 4:6).

Serving God might lead you to a place where many will misunderstand and mistreat you. You may be despised and rejected in the process of serving God.

This is because we serve God based on what He desires from us, not according to our societal status. That’s why serving God not only pays but also comes at a cost.

The cost of serving God is our humility and obedience—being willing to do what He asks even when society considers it unfit or unimportant.

Child of God, this is why the world will laugh at you and despise you, just as they did Jesus. The world never expected the Messiah to come from Nazareth. They expected their king to be born with worldly royalty and splendor. But this was not God's plan. So, to them, Jesus doesn't meet their criteria for the Messiah.

Whenever you submit to God's will, the world may see it as a weakness. They won't understand why you go from street to street witnessing about God's kingdom.

Child of God, our opening text tells us that those who mocked and ridiculed us for serving God will ultimately come and bow before us. This won't happen because they want to, but because they will be compelled to do so because of the way God will eventually promote us.

When God rewards His faithful followers, those who mocked us will be brought low compared to where God will elevate them.

God will give His faithful the solutions to the needs of their mockers. As a result, the mockery will end, and even the mockers will be compelled to come bowing before the faithful servants of God.

Child of God, my prayer today is for grace to continue holding on and serving God faithfully. I believe the day of your reward for serving God is very near, in Jesus' name.

Jesus was highly exalted and given a name above every other name because of His obedience to serve God. I see your days of promotion for your obedience coming soon. God will promote you beyond your wildest dreams in Jesus' name.

Thank God for the opportunity to serve Him and His kingdom on earth.

Declare that, as for you and your household, you will serve the Lord with all your heart for the rest of your life, in the name of Jesus.
