You never know who will become a voice for you, stand up for you, or come to your rescue in a moment when you need help. Sometimes, the people who will rise to fight for you may not be the people closest to you.

QUESTION: In the beginning of my relationship, everything was centered around my own vision. I paid little attention to my partner's vision, and I now realize that was a mistake. Along the line, I corrected it and did everything possible to support my partner to become something meaningful. However, after we allowed my in-laws to move in with us, I began to notice a change in my wife's character. I have tried everything to draw her close again, but she is not forthcoming. How does one navigate such a situation?
