God in 1 Corinthians 1:21 KJVAAE reveals that “For after that in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe”.
God uses ordinary, lowly, or unpolished people instead of society's elites. This reverses human standards and stops people from bragging about their own power or smartness. Society looks at a person's money, power, fame, and school degrees. God works in a completely different way. He picks people who lack high status to show His truth.
People who think they are very wise or strong rely on themselves. When God uses humble people to change the world, it proves human pride is empty. It also shows that human brainpower cannot figure out God on its own.
The world in selecting a team, often uses a person's abilities, status, and history of success as part of the criteria. God doesn't consider those things primarily, but chooses by His grace. He then trains, sanctifies and uses according to His will and purpose. That's where the difference lies, and that’s what makes Him the Almighty God He is.
Man therefore is not supposed to fashion out his own wisdom, but rather seek, discover and abide by God’s wisdom in order to fulfill God’s purpose in our lives.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 KJVAAE reveals that “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end”. This means that no matter your level of education, personal wisdom or research, you cannot find out the work God made from the beginning to the end. This is also why formulating and depending on your own wisdom cannot give you fulfillment.
Jesus Christ is God’s wisdom personified – 1 Cor. 1:24. Believe in Him, accept and confess Him as your Lord and Saviour. Be baptized into Him, eat His flesh and drink His blood (Holy Communion) and continue to fellowship with believers.
Doing this guarantees your Salvation which is our ultimate goal.
May the Holy Spirit help us to understand and obey in Jesus’ name! Amen. Alleluia!SL - CEARC
