*TOPIC: DETERMINANTS OF THE MAKING OF A MAN*
*TEXT: MARK 3:14*
*And He ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach*

*From the above verse of the scriptures, Jesus Christ ordained the twelve disciples BUT there is something more important than the ordination, for these disciples to become what their Master wanted them to become in life and destiny and that is the exercise of due diligence, called OBSERVATION which is backed up with a commensurate level of readiness to put into practice whatever has been observed*

*It has been proved sufficiently that observation is one of the best, if not the very best way of learning and retaining whatever has been learned*

*Through observation, one goes beyond the level of only being taught by someone to the level where things are caught at the place of OBSERVATION and the readiness to perform*

*Elisha doggedly observed what his master, Elijah, did before both of them could cross the River Jordan and he did exactly the same thing on his way back to base, in order to have the same results as his master*

*THINGS TO NOTE*
*Many people wonder why they are not getting the same results like their masters or leaders, be it in the secular or spiritual realm. Meanwhile, they have lost track of observing what would have given them the desired results*

*Intentionally make up your mind today to be very observant in all that happens around you, so that your making will be a easy ride. Selah!*

*TOPIC: IT TAKES THE FOLLOWING TO HAVE THE MAKING*
*TEXT: MATTHEW 4:18-20*
*And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him*

*Understand that it is only those who follow that can be made by God, who is the Maker of men*

*Understand also that to follow someone in the real terms goes beyond merely walking behind that person. This is because someone could claim to be following another person physically whereas his or her heart is far from that person. For example we saw Judas Iscariot following Jesus to most places along with other disciples. In fact he was among the seventy disciples who went to cast out demons in the book of Luke 10:17-19, yet he was not following Jesus from and or with his heart*

*Judas' eye was full of how to make financial gain by virtue of his association with Jesus Christ but it was a pity he never lived to spend the money he collected from the procced of betraying his Master*

*Gehazi was yet another man who refused to follow his master, Elisha. Rather than receiving a double portion of the anointing or the spirit of Elisha, he received the curse of being a father of leprosy and lepers so to say*

*Many people today whether in the secular or religious circle do not follow their masters or leaders intimately. Hence, they can never be made. Some Assistant Pastors are only looking or working to the detriment or downfall of their Senior Pastors and no wonder they are not making any appreciable progress. In the same vein, some subordinates at the places of work are not really following their superior officials. Hence, the blessing of God is eluding them*

*THINGS TO NOTE*
*Without controversy, an d to the best of his ability, Simon Peter followed his Master-Jesus Christ, and he was actually made as he became and maintained his position as the leader or the mouthpiece of the disciples of Jesus and invariably that of the Apostles*

*Follow well so that you can be well made. Selah!*

*TOPIC: GRACE- THE MAKER OF MEN*
*TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 15:9-10*
*But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 1 Corinthians 15:10*

*From the above verse of the scriptures, we are made to understand that the Grace of God is the Maker of men. The grace of God was indeed responsible for the making of Saul of Tarsus, a persecutor and injurious person to becoming a great and anointed servant and Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, and a force which could be reckoned with*

*It is important to remember the definition of Grace, that it is the ability of God that comes upon a man which makes him do what ordinarily he wouldn't have been able to do. Hence, the Grace of God is what makes a timid person become a very bold, radical and intentional person for the Lord Christ Jesus*

*Understand that Jesus Christ, who is Grace personified told Simon Peter, "Follow me, and I will make you a fisher of men" and indeed we are witnesses of and to the fact that Peter was actually made by the grace of God from being an ordinary fisherman to a vibrant fisher of men, and an anointed man of God, who walked on the water like Jesus Christ, his Master*

*The same Grace of God became so heavy on Peter such that those people who were afflicted with sicknesses and diseases were healed by the shadow of Peter, O what a making of men by the Grace of God*

*THINGS TO NOTE*
*Note that God is always in the business of making people, and that He can make you, even today*

*Note also that the Grace of God is capable of making only those who are willing and obedient to be made. It is therefore time for you and I to be made by the grace of God*

*Dear LORD, I hereby surrender myself to be made by You, and I know that my life and my ministry shall never remain the same in Jesus precious name, amen*

*TOPIC: SERVICE PRODUCES BLESSINGS*
*TEXT: EXODUS 23:25-28*
*And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. Exodus 23:25*

*There is a divine order for the blessings of God in different dimensions to come upon our lives, which when or if followed has the capacity to turn things around for one's good in life and destiny*

*It is however surprising to note that some people think that they are so smart, and smarter than God as to be able to change the order. Such people say, And He (God) shall bless me, and I will serve the Lord, and that is why such people wait for so long, if not endless before or without accessing the blessings of God in their lifetime*

*Understand that the blessing of God includes but NOT limited to financial gains or resources. The blessings of God include good health, which is specifically mentioned in this verse of the scriptures. God's blessings can prevent one from becoming sick or becoming a regular customer of sickness, and in a situation where the sickness finds its way in, due to one's ignorance, negligence/carelessness, overworking of the body or due to the attack of the enemies, there is a promise to TAKE AWAY such sicknesses or diseases from us*

*When Hezekiah was serving God and he received a message from the prophet of the LORD that he was going to die shortly, he reminded God of His promise concerning his service to Him and he received an answer of the blessing of God for an additional 15 years*

*Other blessings attached to serving God is that God becomes one's defence and battle fighter. God is a Master Strategist who can use hornets, which is difficult to resist or overcome to fight for an addicted SERVANT of the LORD who serves faithfully*

*THINGS TO NOTE*
*Are you trusting God for His blessings in one way or the other, the answer is SERVICE. Therefore serve your God over and over again, and your blessings are assured or guaranteed*

*Don't give up on serving God until you receive your blessings, and thereafter- Good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, which He will cause men to bring to your bosom*

*DECLARATIONS/IMPARTATION*
*Heavenly Father, I hereby make demands on You for the discipline/obedience to adhere strictly to your instructions without trying to change the order in Jesus precious name, Amen*

*TEXT: EPHESIANS 5:20*
*Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.*

*The above word is a statement of fact and of truth which encourages and instructs believers in Christ to remain grateful and full of appreciation to God at all times and in all situations*

*Understand that from the above that this statement puts on us the responsibility of obedience, commitment, loyalty and of our total allegiance unto the One who loved and still loves us unconditionally*

*It is important to note that our giving.of thanks to God must not be based on what we have received or what we expect to receive from God, BUT it must be predicated on the fact that He is our God and Father, who deserves nothing less than our submission to His WILL as stated in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 which says, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you"*

*THINGS TO NOTE*
*Don't let the worldly material acquisition be what will determine your joy and invariably, your giving thanks to God*

*You must intentionally make yourself happy and joyful unto the LORD before you can adequately give an acceptable thanks unto Him*

*The instruction to give thanks always to God should not be viewed as a gift that an individual has (that is, don't believe that the act of giving thanks to God is a gift that someone has which the other person might not or does not have or possess) but rather it has to be seen, believed or accepted and practised as an instruction to be obeyed for our own good. Selah!*

*DECLARATIONS/IMPARTATION*
*Heavenly Father, I hereby apply for the grace and the discipline to obey this instruction of yours to me on a permanent basis in Jesus precious name, amen*
