As we take out today to pray for the family, church and the nation, may we equally strive to be good ambassadors of our families, church organizations and nation.
1. Pray that the family and the church will be one united family. John 17:22–23
2. Pray that your family will be strong and stable this year in Jesus name (John 15:12). Commit yourself to attitude and character that will promote the peace and progress of your family this year in Jesus name. Proverbs 11:29 says: He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind, and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.
Pray for the grace to be a good influence upon your own household in Jesus name.
3. Psalms 127:1 Pray for the Lord to build our homes this year; that no home will scatter in our assembly. Pray that all negative influences upon our homes will loose their hold over the homes.
4. Psalms 127: 5. Lets pray that God would endow us with children this year in Jesus Name. Pray that our children will grow well, in favor with God and men. Psalm 127:3;Psalm 144:12
5. Psalms 128: 3 Pray That all our homes will be fruitful; expand and enlarge to fill the spaces allocated them by God in Jesus name.
6. Proverb 22:6. Pray that your children will be obedient trained in the way they should go.
7. Pray that our brethren of marriageable ages who are interested in marriages will find their mates this year im Jesus name. Isaiah 34:16;Gen 2:18;
8. Pray for our children to live out their dreams of prosperous, glorious and victorious future in Jesus name.
9. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:46 - 47. Pray for God to add in number unto the church family in Jesus name, amen.
10. Pray for the peace of our Nation, Nigeria.
"Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins(Psalm 7:9).
11. May the good Lord answer us all as we pray in the mighty name of Jesus Amen.
