GLORIOUS REDEMPTION CHRISTIAN CENTRE.

MONDAY 20TH OCTOBER, 2025.

THE OVERCOMERS (PART 2).

There is none as high as The Most High God. This means that The Most High God is by far supreme, superior and sovereign over all people, nations, places and things. All things are under His feet and His dominion is unquestionable.. God is unconquerable. The implication of this is that whenever God partners with anyone, whoever the person is will carry off to victory.
The true source of victory is from the Most High God. The Most High God is the authentic decider of victory in any given situation, to the largest extent.

Numbers 13:30
And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for WE ARE WELL ABLE TO OVERCOME IT .

No one overcomes all by himself except as helped by God. We are not strong in ourselves to overcome but we are strong in the Lord because God is on our sides.

Overcomers are those who are on the Lord's side and the Lord is on their sides.

Numbers 14:8-9
[8]IF THE LORD DELIGHT IN US , then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
[9]Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and THE LORD IS WITH US : fear them not.

Psalms 118:6
THE LORD IS ON MY SIDE ; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

Romans 8:31
What shall we then say to these things? IF GOD BE FOR US , WHO CAN BE AGAINST US ?

Overcomers are those who have the backings of the Lord.

GOD THE TRUE SOURCE OF REAL VICTORY.

In order to fully understand who the overcomers are, we need to understand who the authentic source of victory is. Beyond any reasonable doubt, all through and genuine victory are rooted and sourced in God.

1 Chronicles 29:11
[11]THINE , O LORD, IS the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and THE VICTORY , and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

Psalms 144:10 (NLT)
FOR YOU GRANT VICTORY TO KINGS ! You are the one who rescues your servant David

Proverbs 21:31(NIV)
The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but VICTORY RESTS WITH THE LORD.

God is the source and the giver of true and genuine victory. All true victory flows from Him.

Every supposed victory not sourced in and rooted in God is multiplied sorrows to the beneficiaries.

Psalms 16:4
Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

Jonah 2:8(NIV)
Those who clings to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.

There is no real victory in other place but in God..

THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS THE KINGDOM OF THE OVER COMERS.

God is King, The King of Kings, and He is seated and reigning in victory forever and ever. As noted earlier, God is a giver of victory to those who are His. He gives victory to kings (Psalms 144:10).
Further more, wherever the kingdom of God is or has come to, victory, which is God's (1 Chronicles 29:11; Proverbs 21:31),has come to that person and place.

Matthew 6:10
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Wherever and to whoever the kingdom of God has come is dwelling in victory. The location of God's kingdom is the location of victory. Those who lives in the kingdom of God are living in victory.

"Thy kingdom come" is actually "thy victory come". When God's kingdom come, His victory also comes with it.

Revelation 12:10-11
[10]And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, NOW IS COME SALVATION , AND STRENGTH , AND THE KINGDOM OF OUR GOD , AND THE POWER OF HIS CHRIST : for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
[11]And THEY OVERCAME HIM BY the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

The coming of the kingdom of God is directly accompanied with victory.
In essence, overcomers are those who lives in God's kingdom.
In addition, we overcome because we are in God's kingdom and the kingdom of God is right on the inside of us.

Luke 17:21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU .

The Kingdom of God within us is accompanied with victory within us.

Revelation 3:12,21
[12]HIM THAT OVERCOMETH WILL I MAKE A PILLAR IN THE TEMPLE OF MY GOD , and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
[21]TO HIM THAT OVERCOMETH WILL I GRANT TO SIT WITH ME IN MY THRONE , even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Overcomers are stable and established pillars in God's house ; they are the ones seated and enthroned with Christ as kings.
The kingdom of God is a Kingdom of kings and priest (Romans 5:17; Peter 2:9; Revelations 1:6;5:10). The Kingdom, seats and thrones of God are that of the overcomers.
The kingdom of God is the overcomers kingdom. It is not for the weak, weary, faint and the defeated ;it is a winning kingdom.

OVER COMERS ARE FOUND ONLY IN CHRIST.

Believers in Christ are overcomers. It only those who are in Christ that are overcomers.
The victory of the saints have been wrapped up in Christ by God.

1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our triumphs are in Christ.

Victory is ours only through Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:14
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to TRIUMPH IN CHRIST, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

God put all things under the feet of Christ for our sakes, the body of Christ, the Church. The victory of Christ is our victory.

Ephesians 1:22
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

Jesus Christ defeated principalities and powers on the cross for our sakes. The triumph of Christ is our triumph.

Colossians 2:15
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Jesus Christ conquered forces of darkness on the cross for us. Christ's triumph on the cross has been credited to our accounts. We are victorious just as Christ is victorious.

FAITH IN THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST IS OUR VICTORY.

There is a victory that overcomes and until you come by this victory, you will never overcome in life.
It is the victory of faith in Christ Jesus that overcomes in life.

1 John 5:4-5
[4]For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
[5]Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

As many as are in Christ are born of God, just as Jesus Christ is the first born of God from among the dead. We are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ(Romans 8:17). We belong to the same Kingdom of God. For this reason, Jesus Christ has overcome the world for our sakes.

John 16:33(AMP) ..... I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD . [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have CONQUERED IT FOR YOU .]

Jesus Christ conquered the world for us.
We became more than conqueror through Christ.

Romans 8:37
Nay, in all these things we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS THROUGH HIM that loved us.

We are more than conquerors only through Christ.

The believers are in Christ and Christ is in us (2 Corinthians 5:17; Colossians 1:27).Our dwelling in Christ and Christ dwelling in us make us overcomers.

1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

We are overcomers in this world because Jesus Christ who is dwelling on the inside of us is greater than the devil dwelling in the world.
It is faith in all that Jesus Christ has accomplished for us that makes us overcomers in the world.

WHO ARE THE OVERCOMERS ?

(1) The conquerors (Rom 8:37)

(2) The prevailers (Gen 32:28; Gen 49:19; Jdg 4:24; Rev 5:25)

(3) Winners

(4) The triumohants(Ex 15:1; Ps 92:4; 2Cor 2:14; Col 2:15)

(5) The victorious (Ps 98:1; 1Cor 15:57; 1 Jn 5:4).

In conclusion, it does not really matter to God how many times the believer in Christ has fallen, the status of the believer with God remains overcomer. Our more-than-conqueror status in Christ is the same with God. No amount of defeat can change our position in Christ.

Proverbs 24:16
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again......

We can rise again from whatever situation life has brought us down to.

Genesis 49:19
Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.

Winning at last is the standard of God for everyone in Christ. Temporary setback is not permanent defeat for the saints. God is not just the God of second chance but also the God of another chance again and again. The chance to rise again from the prostrations that situations and circumstances has brought you is NOW. It does not really matters how many times you have been defeated in life, you can and you will overcome at last, in the name of Jesus Christ.

GLORIOUS CONFESSION.

Jesus Christ, my Lord, is the victorious one. I am in Christ and Christ is in me. The victory of Christ is my victory. I am no longer the defeated person I used to be. I am new creature in Christ Jesus. I am more than conqueror through Christ who loved me and gave Himself for me. I am a prince of the Most High God and therefore have power with God and with man and has prevailed. The Lord is on my side and I am on the Lord's side ; I am on the winning side. I am a winner. Jesus Christ causes me to triumph always and at all times. I am victorious at last, in the name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah 🙌

MONDAY 13TH OCTOBER, 2025.

THE OVERCOMERS.

The inheritance of the does not come by a walk in the park but by Christ's conquest over the forces of darkness. Every inheritance has a possessor and can only be transferred when the initial possessor is subdued by a greater force or power. This means that taking delivery of inheritance is made possible only when battles has been fought, won or lost.

Deuteronomy 2:24
Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I HAVE GIVEN INTO THINE HAND Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: BEGIN TO POSSESS IT , AND CONTEND WITH HIM IN BATTLE .

Whatever has been given into our hand is what is in our power to do to it as occasion serves us. Possession comes by contention in battle.

Two, taking delivery of inheritance comes by the use of greater power or force to disinherit the possessors and handing it over to another to possess.

Exodus 23:30
By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.

Going by the above scripture, those who are driven out must have first of all be conquered while those who inherit them are called overcomers.
It takes the power of God to effect transfer of ownership of inheritance.
In essence, only overcomers are inheritors. No one inherits anything or takes over possession until he overcomes.

Revelation 21:7
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Taking delivery of inheritance is the exclusive reserve of those who overcomes. Only overcomers inherit.
God is the God and Father of those who overcome. God is not the God and Father of the defeated ; He is the God and Father of the overcomers.

Further more, until we rise up to subdue the land that has been given to us by God with the mentality of the overcomers, possession cannot becomes our realities.

Numbers 13:30

We cannot possess what we cannot overcome. Overcoming precedes taking possession.

Over and above all, the Kingdom of God is the kingdom of the overcomers ; it is not the kingdom of the defeated.

Revelation 3:21
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Enthronement in God's kingdom is strictly by conquest. No one is crowned and enthroned except as he conquers. There is no defeat in the dictionary of God's kingdom.

OVERCOMING AT THE GATES.

Gates are authorised systems of access. Every inheritance is surrounded with walls for containment, preservation, security and protection. Gates are mounted for access (entry and exit). There is no free access to any inheritance of worth .
Anyone who must go in to possesses inheritance must prevail at gate first of all. No one can enter into inheritance unless he first overcomes at the gates.
Inheritances are entered into before they are taken.

Joshua 8:19... and they entered into the city, and took it........

Until access is demanded and given or gained, no one takes delivery of inheritance. Gates are therefore, designed as a system of access authorisation.

Joshua 6:1
Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: NONE WENT OUT , and NONE CAME IN .

Gates are meant to keep the way of inheritance against unauthorised access.
Gates are enemies barriers to the inheritance of the saints.

WE ARE
OVERCOMERS AT THE GATES

The Saints are descendants of Abraham (Galatians 3:7-9),and as such, we are possessors of the gates of the enemies.

Genesis 22:17
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and THY SEED SHALL POSSESS THE GATE OF HIS ENEMIES ;

The seed (singular) described in the scripture above is Jesus Christ.

Galatians 3:16
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to THY SEED , WHICH IS CHRIST.

As believers in Christ Jesus, we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17).For this reason, the victory of Christ, the seed of Abraham (the head of the church) , is our victory, the seeds of Abraham (the body of Christ).
Jesus Christ is victorious over the gates of hell. Jesus Christ has the key of the gates of hell.

Revelation 1:18.... have the keys of hell and of death.

Jesus Christ is the possessor of the keys of hell and death. As a result of this, the power and the authority of access to hell and death are in the hand of Jesus Christ to open or to shut (Revelations 3:7-8).
So, whether it is the gate of hell or the gates of hell, the revelation of Jesus Christ to the believer is our victory over them.

Matthew 16:16-18
[16]And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD .
[17]And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
[18]And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and THE GATES OF HELL shall not prevail against it.

We are overcomers by the blood of Jesus Christ and by the testimony of God's word of what Christ has accomplished for us in redemption (Revelation 12:11).
As Christ is revealed and we testify to the revelation of Christ, victory is established over the gates of hell.

The revelation of Christ is the strength required to take the battle to the gates of the enemies and not return ashamed.

Isaiah 28:5-6
[5]In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
[6]And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for STRENGTH TO THEM THAT TURN THE BATTLE TO THE GATE .

The revelation of Christ is our access to our kingdom inheritance.

God is in us and God is for us (1 John 4:4; Romans 8:31),victory is on our sides. We are overcomers.

THREE-FOLD VICTORY OF THE SAINTS AT EVERY GATE IN LIFE.

By reason of the victory of Christ on our behalf, gates are subdued unto us in three major ways :

(1) Gates are broken (Ps 107:16;Isa 45:2; Mic 2:13)

(2) Gates are opened (Isa 45: 1; Acts 12:10)

(3) Gates are lifted (Judg 16:3; Ps 24:7-10)

In conclusion, there is no overcomer anywhere except as made by the Spirit of God. A man of the Spirit of God is the true and genuine overcomer.
The Holy Spirit has been given to us to put us over in life. As we take the advantage of the gift of the Holy Spirit, nothing can defeats us. May the power of the Holy Spirit forever gives us victory, in the name of Jesus Christ.

GLORIOUS CONFESSION.

God is my God and Father. God is above all and greater than all. I am born of God and I am of God. I am in God and God dwells in me. I am an overcomer because God who dwells in me is greater than all the forces against me put together. I overcome by the blood of Jesus Christ and by the testimony of what Jesus Christ has done for me in God's word. Hallelujah 🙌

THE VOICE OF LIBERATION

The outcome of everyone's life is a product of the voice speaking over that life. It is not in man's power to determines the outcome of his life but in the voice speaking over his life.

Jeremiah 10:23
O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

The way of a man speaks of the journey, road, path, manner and direction that a man takes in life.
The way of a man speaks of the course of a man's life.
Originally, what is ordained to give direction to mankind in life is the voice of God.

Proverbs 20:24
Man's goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?

The steps of mankind right from creation is ideally to be directed by the voice of God. The world of man was designed to be a world where the voice of his creator rules.

(1) Man is a creator of God's voice.

Genesis 1:26-27
[26]And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[27]So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

(2) Man was created to hear and obey God's voice.

Genesis 3:8,10
[8]And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden......
[10]And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden......

(3)The only voice ordained to rule in the world of man is the voice of God .

Isaiah 30:21
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

God's voice is the only voice ordained to rule in the world of man. This was the ideal situation before the fall of man.

Genesis 2:15-17
[15]And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
[16]And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
[17]But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

As long as man obeyed the command of God, man lived. The life of God in man at creation was sustained in man by continual fellowship with God
(Genesis 2:7).

However, the fall of man came the day man listened to the voice of the devil.
(Genesis 3:1-19)

The voice of the devil introduced sin to man and by consequent death. By death, the nature of the devil, man became servant to the devil.

Romans 5:12
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

It is as from the moment that sin gained entrance into mankind that the voice of the devil also came into the world, bringing men into bo***ge.
In contrast, the voice of God is the voice of righteousness, life and liberty while the voice of the devil is the voice of sin, corruption and bo***ge.
This is how two major voices enter into the world of man seeking governance and control. There is a battle line drawn between the voice of God and the voice of the devil in a man's life. The outcome of every man's life is determined by the voice he hearken to.

GOD'S VOICE :GOD'S METHOD OF LIBERATION.

It is by the voice of God that man once lived and it is by the voice of the devil that man died. Much more, it will be by the voice of the Lord that mankind will be liberated from the grip of death.
In order to redeem mankind from death, God sacrificed His only begotten son, Jesus Christ. It is by the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ that we are liberated from the bo***ge of death.

(1) We are redeemed unto God by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Redemption is liberation from sin and the penalty of sin, which is death.

(2) The blood of Jesus Christ is a speaking blood. It has a voice.

Hebrews 12:24
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to THE BLOOD OF SPRINKLING , THAT SPEAKETH better things than that of Abel.

(3) The voice of the blood of Jesus Christ is the voice of liberation.

Zechariah 9:11
As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.

The voice of the blood of Jesus Christ is the voice of liberty to the prisoners, liberation to the captives, deliverance to the bounds and restoration to the spoiled. It is for the sending forth of those who believe out of the pit and snares of life.

Isaiah 42:22
But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

The voice of the blood of Jesus is the voice of liberation in that by it men are loosed from the snares of the fowler, prison houses to the destinies of mankind are shattered by it and for the restoration of those who are preyed upon.
It is the voice saying "restore".

(4) The voice of Jesus Christ is life to the dead.

John 5:25
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

The voice of the Lord Jesus Christ that comes by His word is spirit and life.

John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Jesus Christ is a life-giving Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45).Whenever He speaks, His voice communicates His Spirit and life to any dead situation. The voice of Jesus Christ is for bringing dead situations back to life.
The voice of Jesus Christ is liberation from the hold of death.

THE SHEPHERDHOOD OF THE LORD : ACCESS TO THE VOICE OF LIBERATION.

As noted earlier, the voice of the Lord and the voice of the devil are two opposing voices seeking to gain control in man's life. Therefore, It must be borne in mind that if we must hear the voice of the Lord which is the voice of liberation, God must be our Shepherd. We cannot afford to be doing what is right in our own eyes and not end up in the way of death.

Proverbs 14:12
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

The ways of death are the ways of devil.

Doing the things that are pleasing unto God is the way of life(John 8:29; 1John 3:22). God becomes our Shepherds and we become the sheep of His pasture when we please Him at all times. Our access to the voice of God is guaranteed only by coming into His fold.

Psalms 23:1
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

John 10:3,27
[3]To him the porter openeth; and THE SHEEP HEAR HIS VOICE : and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
[27]MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE , and I know them, and they follow me:

Our continual access to the voice of liberation is by remaining the sheepfold of the Lord.

The voice of liberation is our shield from the voice of the stranger and the thief that comes to steals, kills and destroys. The voice of liberation is the voice of the abundant life
(John 10:5, 10)

In conclusion, the voice of liberation is ordained for mankind for liberty from the grip of the enemy and restoration to his original place of destiny before the fall. The voice of the Lord is what put paid to works of oppressors and oppressions in the life of God's people. There is no affliction that the voice of God cannot silence.

Isaiah 30:30-31
[30]And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.
[31]For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.

The voice of the Lord is the precursor of His hands. Whenever God's voice goes forth, His hands go forth, the oppressors are beaten down and the captives come forth.

May we be rightly positioned to hearing God's voice daily, in the name of Jesus Christ.
