Rahab in her country was seen as an harlot, a pr******te. She was a woman of shame, a disgrace to womanhood.

God can set you up to honor you.

Rahab had a shameless past, nobody came close to her, but God came to remove the stigma from her life. Through her faith she received a new name.

To receive a setup of favour from God? First…

1. You must learn to honor God in your life.

2. Make room for God in your heart

3. Make room for God in your home.

Honour is the greatest attribute that God has given to us.

What Honor does:

- Adds values to who you are

-Helps us to find good in others.

Rahab had a very strong faith, she acted on her faith by taking actions. Joshua 2:10-12.

Faith distinguished Rahab from her people.

Lessons to learn:
1. God honors those who believe him genuinely.
Faith positions a man for divine honor

2. Honour comes when we make the right decisions. Joshua 6:25.

How honor comes:

1. It follows godly choices.

2. It comes through services and sacrifices.
Your sacrifice attracts divine honour, it opens doors.

Applications:
-Serve God faithfully

-Learn to stand for truth no matter how risky it is.

-Honor rewrites negative stories.
God can honour and cancel disgrace from your life.

Never allow depression take the best of you.

God can reconstruct a battered destiny.
