🌟 CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION 2026 AT RCCG ANOINTED HELP CENTER "FAMILY CHURCH" 🌟

Children's Day Celebration 2026 at RCCG Anointed Help Center "Family Church" was truly one of a kind, filled with joy, inspiration and divine encounters.

The celebration featured exciting and impactful activities carefully organized to engage and spiritually enrich our children. The event showcased memory verse recitations across various age groups, sword drill sessions, quiz competitions, self presentations, dance displays, games and several engaging activities that made the day memorable, educational and spiritually uplifting.

Remarkably, the children took full responsibility for organizing and coordinating the Sunday service themselves, demonstrating confidence, discipline and spiritual growth. From choir worship and praise sessions to ministrations and other aspects of the service, the children displayed exceptional commitment and excellence to the glory of God.

One of the remarkable moments of the celebration was the children's generous presentation of a cash gift to the church in honour of Children's Day 2026. This thoughtful gesture reflected their love for God's house and their growing understanding of giving and kingdom stewardship.

A notable highlight of the service was the testimony session, where adults testified to God's faithfulness in their homes, professions and various aspects of life. The atmosphere became even more charged with gratitude as the Mother-in-Israel, Mummy Jegede Philomina, shared a heartfelt testimony of God's faithfulness beyond expectations concerning the children. Her testimony stood as a powerful reminder that God remains fully in charge of His Church and deeply committed to the lives and future of our children.

The Word of God was ministered by Minister Olamide Andrew Oshanyin on the topic, "Ye Are the Light of the World." Drawing from Matthew 5:14-16 and John 1:4-5, the minister charged the children and the entire congregation to become true lights in the world.

He emphasized that believers must remain connected to Jesus Christ, the true Light, so that through our character, conduct and godly lifestyle, the world may see Christ in us and be drawn unto Him. He encouraged everyone to shine their light as instruments of soul winning, edification and heavenly reward, reminding the congregation that godliness and Christlike character are lights that must be displayed for the world to emulate.

The celebration also featured moments of laughter and love as a special cake was prepared in honour of one of our dedicated ushers, Bro. Oluwasola Obayori, who marked his birthday on the same day. In a joyful and lighthearted atmosphere, the Pastor humorously led a march parade as Bro. Oluwasola marched alongside him toward the cake-cutting session, creating memorable and cheerful moments that added colour to the double celebration.

Adding to the beauty of the day, various children's groups held colourful photo shoot sessions in commemoration of Children's Day 2026. These sessions captured the joy, unity and excitement shared among the children and created lasting memories of a truly special occasion.

The glorious celebration concluded with a joyful Thanksgiving session, as the children and the entire congregation lifted their voices in appreciation to God for the success of the 2026 Children's Day Celebration. With grateful hearts, songs of praise and thanksgiving were offered unto God for His faithfulness, divine guidance and abundant blessings throughout the program.

Indeed, the celebration was more than an event, it was a divine encounter and a strong testimony that God is raising a generation of light bearers for His Kingdom.

Children are our future!

Today, as a church and as part of the Christian community in Nigeria, we raise our voices loudly against the continuous killings, bloodshed, terrorism, insecurity, oppression and suffering destroying lives across our nation.

For too long, innocent Nigerians have cried in pain while many leaders remain silent. Families are being wiped out, communities are being invaded, Christians are being slaughtered, homes are being destroyed and citizens are living in fear daily. Widows, widowers and orphans are increasing every day because evil men have turned human lives into nothing. Enough is enough!

We refuse to remain silent while innocent blood flows in Nigeria. We strongly condemn every terrorist attack, every act of banditry, every sponsored killing, every form of injustice and every leadership failure contributing to the agony of the people. The bloodshed in Nigeria must stop. The killing of Christians and innocent citizens must stop. Justice must prevail without bias, fear or sentiment.

Today, we cry unto the God of Elijah who answers by fire to arise and fight for His people. As a church, we curse every supporter of terrorism and killing in Nigeria, their habitations shall become desolate, their flesh shall be given to the birds of the air and creatures of God shall work against them. May every sponsor of terrorism, every supporter of bloodshed, every hidden enemy behind the destruction of innocent lives be exposed openly and disgraced. May the judgment of God locate every wicked system and every individual using power and influence against the peace and survival of Nigerians.

We pray that God will arise in His anger against every force sponsoring violence and insecurity in this nation. May evil never prevail over righteousness. May every hand lifted against innocent blood lose its power and may those who profit from the tears and pain of Nigerians face divine judgment of God.

Nigeria belongs to God and we declare that darkness will not have the final say over this nation. We stand for truth, justice, peace and the protection of innocent lives.

Enough is enough!
Nigeria must rise again.
The bloodshed must stop.

Today’s sermon was powerfully delivered by DNS Sarah Odugbo Treasure Treasure on the topic: “Who Are You In Christ?” with scriptural reference from Colossians 2:20.

The message centered on understanding our true identity and connection in Christ as believers. Christians were reminded never to forget who they are in Christ, because losing sight of your identity can make you settle for less than God’s purpose for your life.

Drawing lessons from Luke 15:17-19 and Judges 6:15, the preacher emphasized that murmuring, fear, doubt and inferiority complex should never define a child of God. When you know your identity in Christ, you walk in boldness, purpose, wisdom and sound mind.

The sermon also highlighted the dangers of neglecting one’s spiritual identity, using the life of Samson as an example of someone who lost privileges after disconnecting from his divine position. Believers were encouraged to retrace their steps back to Christ, retain their rightful position in Him and avoid unequal yoke with unbelievers and negative associations.

We were further charged to reject negative labels, make positive declarations concerning our lives and remember that our identity determines our destiny and destination. Romans 8:37 reminds us that we are more than conquerors through Christ and those that know their God shall do exploits.

Indeed, God is able to transform everyone who genuinely comes to Him. When you know who you are in Christ, you live intentionally, walk with vision and fulfill divine purpose.

Happy Sunday and remain rooted in Christ Jesus.

Our hearts were lifted in worship and praise as joyful melodies filled the atmosphere with the presence of God. It was indeed a beautiful time of adoration and heartfelt gratitude unto our Great Helper and Sustainer.

From the powerful worship session to the joyful praises, every moment reminded us that God remains faithful, merciful and worthy of all our praise. The presence of the Lord was evident, bringing peace, joy, strength and refreshing to every soul in attendance.

🔥 IT'S YOUTH O'CLOCK 🔥

Today's Youth Service was truly a blast as we gathered in joyful celebration and thanksgiving to God.

The service was filled with inspiring and spirit-lifting activities, including Bible Quiz, Sword Drill and powerful testimonies from members, all reflecting the sufficient grace and faithfulness of God at work in our midst. Members testified of victories, open doors of employment, safe child delivery, divine protection and unexpected provisions, reminding us once again that God remains faithful.

The sermon, delivered by our Guest Speaker, Mrs. Owolabi, centered on the timely and impactful topic: "Building Godly and Healthy Relationships."

The message emphasized the importance of nurturing healthy relationships within families, friendships and among neighbors. We were reminded never to make unhealthy comparisons, understanding that God's grace operates differently in each person's life.

The teaching further encouraged us to:
• Learn to tolerate one another's mistakes
• Avoid being quick to judge
• Become good listeners
• Respect one another in love
• Remember that no human being is perfect, regardless of status or position in church or society.

The discussion also extended to intending couples, husbands and wives, neighbors and the wider community. We were encouraged to study and understand one another, discover each other's gifts, skills and strengths, validate emotions, confront selfishness and recognize that building godly relationships requires sacrifice beyond personal interests, in line with Philippians 2:3.

In the words of Mrs. Owolabi:

"Healthy relationship is not two perfect people coming together but two people in agreement to walk with God."

The Youth Service also featured an engaging and insightful Panel Discussion on the topic:

"Thriving as a Young Person in Today's World."

Our esteemed panel discussants included:
• Bro. Patrick Onimisi Sariki
• Sister Adetutu Adelokun
• Bro. David Ileogben
• Sister Ruth Samuel
• Bro. J Caleb Adeola

Their contributions provided practical guidance, wisdom and encouragement for young people navigating the realities and challenges of today's world.

Indeed, it was a refreshing and impactful service filled with learning, inspiration and divine encounters.

SUNDAY SCHOOL SESSION 📖

Today’s Sunday School discussion on “The Broken Window Theory”, it was impactful and deeply enlightening. We were reminded that little cracks ignored in parenting and marriage can grow into bigger problems if not handled with love, wisdom, correction and godly character.

The lesson emphasized the importance of:

• Showing genuine love to our children.

• Treating children equally without favoritism.

• Avoiding division within the family.

• Preparing our children for a godly and responsible future.

• Learning to apologize sincerely and correctly.

• Applying biblical principles in parenting and marriage.

Key Bible references:

📖 Romans 12:9-10 📖 Ephesians 4:32 📖 Proverbs 28:13 📖 Isaiah 5:20 📖 Proverbs 25:11

Indeed, godly parenting and healthy homes are built intentionally through love, humility, truth and wisdom.

As a family, never leave any issues unattended as it may become a threat later, Godly home and parenting aids to a safer nation and society.
