Some thing new;

Healing and health belong to us in Christ and can be received by acting on God’s Word in faith. Let’s stand our ground in faith against fear and sickness in our lives. Then we should continue to supplicate, intercede and pray in the Spirit for nations, heads of governments, other people and medical personnel for wisdom and protection from this pandemic. According to Romans 8:37, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us!

God is also out there giving wisdom to the medical professionals so that advancements can be made through medical science to help people get and stay well. Let’s side in with what He is doing today. Sometimes people need medical help to get well. Faith in God’s Word isn’t opposed to getting medical help. Divine health and healing are God’s best but if you need medical help don’t feel condemned about it - get all the help you need. Proverbs 18:9 Amplified Classic says “. . . he who does not use his endeavors to heal himself is brother to him who commits suicide.”

Does walking by faith mean one should be careless and should disregard natural wisdom and principles? Certainly not. We should take all the necessary natural precautions we need to take while we continue to believe and act upon God’s Word.

Jesus brought the devil to nought. He dethroned and paralyzed satan (Colossians 2:15). He conquered him and destroyed his works. Jesus has redeemed us (set us free) from the curse of the law. If you read Deuteronomy 28, you will see that the curse of the law includes sickness and disease. Matthew 8: 17 tells us that Jesus took our infirmities and carried all our sicknesses. Everything He has carried and taken on our behalf, we are not supposed to carry or take any longer.

So, It is because of what Jesus did on our behalf that we have a legal right to use His name to resist sickness (1 Peter 5:8,9). We have authority over sickness and disease in our domain - in our own lives and in our family. God is not the author of Sickness - satan is. God is still healing the sick today supernaturally by divine power.
