DOMINION MANDATE 5; DOMINION TO ESTABLISH THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been teaching on the dominion mandate—the authority God gave man to rule, reign, and subdue the earth. We’ve seen that:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
• Dominion is man’s right from God to govern the earth.
• Man alone has the legal authority to rule on God’s behalf.
• This authority covers everything on land, sea, and air.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
We also looked at dominion over sickness and poverty. Through Christ’s victory on the cross, Satan was defeated, and we were restored to a life of health, abundance, and authority. God’s original plan was always for man to rule in every area of life. Even though Adam lost this dominion, it was fully restored in Christ.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Why is God teaching us this now? Because He wants us to walk in authority and live in victory. Today we continue with Dominion to establish God’s Kingdom on Earth.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
What Does This Mean?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
It means believers have authority to establish God’s rule on earth. We are called to expand God’s influence in every area of life by living out His will and exercising dominion. Psalm 8:6–8 confirms that God gave man authority over all He created.

What is the Kingdom of God?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
A kingdom means the territory of a king. Earthly kings rule physical lands and people. In contrast, the Kingdom of God is not a political entity but God’s reign—His rule in the hearts of people and in places influenced by His values.
Jesus said in Luke 17:20–21 that the Kingdom of God is within us. It’s invisible but real, showing up wherever His people live out His love, righteousness, peace, and joy.

Things to Note
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
• There are two spiritual kingdoms: the Kingdom of Light (with Christ as King) and the Kingdom of Darkness (with Satan as ruler).
• You can only belong to one. Colossians 1:13 says we’ve been delivered from darkness into Christ’s kingdom.
• These kingdoms are not physical; they exist in the hearts of people and in the culture they shape.
• People reflect the ruler of their kingdom—those in darkness show sinful behavior (Ephesians 2:2), while believers reflect Christ, showing the values of God’s Kingdom (1 Peter 2:9).
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Why is Establishing the Kingdom Important?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
1. It brings salvation.
When people receive Christ, they are transferred from darkness to light (Colossians 1:13). Salvation is the only doorway into God’s Kingdom (John 3:3, Acts 4:12). Without it, the Kingdom cannot expand. And since God works on earth through people, He depends on us to spread the gospel.
2. It fulfills God’s purpose for our lives.
We’re not taken to heaven immediately after salvation because we have an assignment—to reconcile others to God (2 Corinthians 5:18). Each of us was uniquely shaped for this mission (Ephesians 2:10).
3. It establishes Kingdom values on earth.
Jesus taught us to pray, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). God wants His character—love, joy, peace, righteousness, self-control—to be the culture of earth. When people are saved and delivered, their lives transform, just like Mary Magdalene or the man freed from demons in Luke 8.

How Do We Establish the Kingdom of God?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
1. Evangelism
• Personal evangelism: sharing Christ directly with people.
• Lifestyle evangelism: living in a way that reflects Christ.
The harvest is urgent, plentiful, and eternal destinies are at stake (John 4:35, Matthew 9:37, Matthew 13:41–42).
2. Discipleship
Believers must grow beyond salvation to maturity and leadership. In FWC, this happens through CareGroups, DTS, membership, leadership, and reproducing yourself in others.
3. Kingdom Financing
God gives us power to create wealth so we can fund His work (Deuteronomy 8:18). This includes tithing, offerings, missions, supporting church branches, and helping CareGroup members.
4. CareGroups
CareGroups are FWC’s strategy for evangelizing, discipling, and shaping neighborhoods with Kingdom values. They spread the gospel one person, family, and street at a time until whole cities are transformed. Without CareGroups, our mission in Abuja—and beyond—would be weakened.

Conclusion
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
• God has given each of us dominion—the authority to rule and expand His Kingdom.
• You are uniquely equipped for this assignment.
• Christ commands us to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Imagine a city where God’s Kingdom truly reigns: crime drops, broken lives are restored, and even leaders govern with righteousness. History shows this is possible—the Welsh Revival transformed entire communities, closing bars and courts while filling newspapers with testimonies instead of scandals.
This is what happens when God’s Kingdom is established on earth. And it starts with you.
