MARRY RIGHT, NOT JUST EARLY

As I clock another year this day

One thing I am grateful to God for is this: I married right.
And I have come to realize that the right marriage can become a strength for your spiritual life, your calling, and your destiny.

To the young man or woman reading this: don't let pressure push you into the wrong person.

Your friends are getting married.
Your mates are having children.
People are asking, “When is yours coming?”

Take a breath. 😂
Marriage is not a competition.
Marry early if God leads you, but marry rightly.
Choose someone who loves God, respects your purpose, and is willing to grow with you.

The wrong marriage can drain you.
The right one can strengthen you.
Don't rush because of pressure.

Pray, discern, prepare, and when the right person comes, don't be afraid to say YES.

Big congratulations to my son and daughter with whom I am well pleased.

DON'T NEGOTIATE WITH WHAT CAN DESTROY YOU

“And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee...” - Matthew 5:29 (KJV)

Jesus was not teaching us to harm our bodies.
He was teaching us the seriousness of dealing with sin.

Some things must be cut off.
Some places must be avoided.
Some friendships must be reconsidered.
Some habits must be surrendered.
Some doors must remain closed.

You cannot keep feeding what you are praying to overcome.

Sin is not something to manage; it is something to forsake.
Whatever keeps pulling you away from Christ, have the courage to let it go.
Because it is better to lose something temporary than to lose your soul eternally.

Choose holiness.
Choose Christ.
Choose life.
