Topic : Divine Help.
Text: Psalm 121, 2chro 14vs11, Acts 26vs 22, Heb 11vs6.
The highlights of the message;
1). Personal Encounter with God; which entails total surrendering of one's life to God and absolute commitment to Him. 1cor 6vs9 2cor5vs14,17, 2cor6vs17-18. Do not be deceived, no unrighteous person can get God's attention. Unrighteous person is one that lives in sin i.e whosoever embraces/indulges himself/herself in the forbidden things is a sinner in the sight of God(1cor 6vs 9), it doesn't matter your knowledge of the Bible, your position in the church nor your status in the society.
2). Making Him the focus and nothing else. Matt 14vs22-31. A loss of focus of God and His ability to help/save us will only culminate in disaster. Luke 16vs15. Beware of this truth, that God doesn't reward the past. To loose focus is to backslide. Be careful not to loose your reward through backsliding Ezekiel 3vs19.
3). Absolute Faith in God and His ability to help. Acts26:22, Heb11vs6. Without faith, it is impossible to attract God's attention into our affairs. We must remove the obstacle of unbelief, doubt and fear.
Finally, may the Lord give you the needed help this week even as you take time to read the quoted scriptures, don't forget God's word is self anointed.
May the Lord bless you and help you in every area you desire Him from this moment in Jesus name.
Have a wonderful day and a blissful week.

Topic: God is not a God of majority
Text: 2chro 18vs1-34
Welcome to the new month. A month of our divine testimony. please note that this month is a troublous month full of tales of woe but the Lord will keep His people from evil.
We as individual Christians, should have a defined standard which should be the word of God. In the world, majority and popular opinions are factors for winning but for God the minority is His own winning factor. From our text this morning, we could see a deceitful delusions of popular opinions & Ahab became a victim of it. We should be careful not to fall victim of majority and popular opinions. Ahab was influenced by majority and so he hated Micaiah for his truth. It's a common phenomenon in the world today that if u can't beat them , join them but that is not a demeanor of a winner. We are called out to the world not to Join but that the world will join us. God is busy looking for who will distinguish himself like Micaiah today. May you distinguish yourself today like one in this generation. Finally, we must not be victims of lying spirit. There is a meeting going on in the heavenlies over every one either for good or for bad. May we be wise like Jehoshaphat (vs6), who was not comfortable with the popular opinions of the 400 prophets even if he almost died because of the influence of Ahab. We shouldn't undermine this truth, life is individualistic. Only those who have this understanding have an individualistic approach which always culminate in victory and triumph. We can stand aloof like Micaiah if need be in order to secure our life and future. I hope we have learnt from this fatal mistake of Ahab and the error of Jehoshaphat. God bless you as you implicate these lessons in your day to day life and not make yourself susceptible to Majority and cheap popular opinions. God bless you and Have a wonderful day. Stay safe and blessed. Amen!

Topic: Beware of ungodly advice
Text: Genesis 16vs1-2
God always fault us His children whenever we listen to advices from friends or family members contrary to His word/instruction. Our text today, reveals that Abram listened to the advice of Sarai for him to go into Hagar her maid. Meanwhile, we see in the previous chapters, God had already promised Abram that he was going to bless him. In chapter 17vs 1 God said to Abram"....walk before me and be thou perfect". This implies that God faulted him for the birth of Ishmael. Our lesson today is that we shouldn't listen to advices that are contrary to what God has spoken to us because we at the end of the day will suffer the negative consequences in disobeying God's word or listening to negative advices from our friends and loved ones. Another example in the Bible where God faulted people for listening to advices contrary to His word is; The old prophet and the young prophet (1kings13vs1-30). God punished the young prophet for listening to the word of the old prophet which was contrary to the instruction given to him. The young prophet was killed by a lion that God sent but the old prophet wasn't punished.
Finally, we should allow God to rule over our affairs because His plan for us is of good and not evil. Listening to words/instructions contrary to His can only bring devastation, sorrow or loss or even death as it was with Ananias and Sapphira. Ananias listened to the ungodly advice of his wife and both suffered the consequences of death (Acts 5 ). May God help and bless us as we listen to His word and not ungodly advices in Jesus name Amen. Have a wonderful day. Stay safe and sound.
