Just in: Apostle Joshua Selman visits his home Plateau State, Donates relief materials valued at #100,000,000 to victims.

‎In a Statement by Gyang Bere, PhD
Director of Press and Public Affairs
Office of the Executive Governor of Plateau State
April 15, 2026

"Apostle Joshua Selman has donated relief materials valued at over ₦100 million to support victims of recent tragic attacks in Plateau State, calling for renewed hope and collective responsibility in rebuilding affected communities.

The cleric made the presentation during a courtesy visit to Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang at the Old Government House, Rayfield, Jos.

Speaking during the visit, Apostle Selman, accompanied by Pastor John Kennedy and Bestman Uwadia, said the delegation came to identify with the people of Plateau State in their moment of grief and to demonstrate compassion beyond words. He noted that discussions were held with the state government on ongoing efforts to address security challenges and improve livelihoods.

Describing Plateau as “a place with good people, rich culture, and great potential,” he acknowledged the pain caused by recent tragic events but emphasized optimism: "We’re here to lend our voice with the government and the good people of Plateau that there is still hope. In the midst of chaos and unfortunate incidents, God is still on the throne, and there is always a way out.”

He added that the visit was also a practical demonstration of support:
“I thought it was good to come with palliatives as a way of supporting the state, supporting the Church as a clergy, and generally locking hands with the government to add to what is already being done across the state, including CAN.”

The intervention includes a truckload of 3,000 bags of rice and cooking oil for distribution across communities and church blocs, alongside additional financial support targeted at affected families. Apostle Selman noted that while such assistance cannot replace lost lives, it serves as a gesture of comfort and solidarity.

Receiving the donation, Governor Mutfwang expressed gratitude, describing the gesture as timely and compassionate. He said it reflects a strong sense of unity and shared responsibility, while highlighting ongoing efforts by the government and religious bodies to support all affected persons, regardless of religious affiliation.

The governor called for sustained collaboration among stakeholders and urged citizens both at home and in the diaspora to contribute to peacebuilding efforts. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to restoring stability and expressed optimism that Plateau State will overcome its challenges and reclaim its status as a beacon of hope".

I bank with Zenith Bank. When I slot in my ATM card, the machine will welcome me and say “Arome, welcome”. The machine is dealing with me as a personalised customer. If I give my friend, Gideon Odoma my ATM to help me make some withdrawals, when he slots in the card, the machine will still say “Arome, welcome”, it won't recognise Gideon. It accepts the transaction because it takes for granted that it is Arome.

When you give your life to Christ, the Christ that is in you is the one that has the passcode to the throne of Grace. So when you come before the throne of Grace, you're not admitted into activities or transactions with that throne because you're ‘Samuel’ or ‘Philip’ by name. Christ in you becomes the basis of your right standing with God, He doesn't see you, He sees Christ; just like the ATM machine didn't recognise my friend Gideon and thought it was dealing with Arome.

So, Christ in you becomes the reason of your acceptance. Not you in yourself, but Christ in you. As long as you have Christ in you, when you stand before God, you're Right from the perspective of the Justice system of Heaven.

It is this RIGHTNESS that gives you the platform for Prayer. It is this RIGHTNESS that makes you to be able to engage God without inferiority, guilt and condemnation.

And the proof that this RIGHTNESS is in place is that there's an inner PEACE. PEACE means you're accepted. Peace means welcomed. Peace means you're free to do transactions in the courts of Heaven.

•••
And that's an arrangement that was put in place not because you had anything to contribute to it. Salvation is not a reward for good behavior; it is a gift released by the grace of God. We access this grace by putting our faith in Jesus Christ.

Because it is entirely God’s doing and not our achievement, no man has grounds to boast.
Therefore, every believer must live in humility, knowing that redemption is purely the mercy of God.
(—Ephesians 2:8 & 9)

I've slept with girls.

There was a time in my life when the things we celebrated were actually the things destroying us.

Growing up as a teenager, my friends and I had a strange culture among ourselves. We called it “body count competition.” It was simply a way of counting the number of girls we had slept with. The higher your number, the more respect you seemed to get among the boys. To us, it felt like achievement. It felt like maturity. It felt like something to be proud of.

Looking back now, I realize it was nothing but a race toward self-destruction.

Around that same time, I began smoking w**d at the age of 14. What started as experimentation gradually became a habit. At first it felt exciting — something rebellious, something that made us feel grown. But it quickly got out of control.

There were several times the smoking became so intense that my body could not handle it. I ended up in the hospital multiple times because of it. My system would react badly, and my health would crash.

One of those times was particularly serious.

My mother was deeply worried about me. In her concern, she went to meet a prophet to understand what was happening to her son. After listening to her, the prophet told her that an arrow had entered me.

But the truth was much simpler and much more painful.

The “arrow” was actually w**d.

It was the choices I was making. It was the lifestyle I had embraced. It was the environment I allowed myself to live in.

At that stage of my life, however, I did not see it that way. I thought I was simply enjoying life like every other young person around me.

But everything changed the day I gave my life to Christ.

It wasn't just a religious moment or an emotional experience. Something deeper happened inside me. My appetites began to change.

The same things that once excited me started losing their power over me. The things that once gave me pleasure slowly stopped feeling pleasurable.

And when I received the Holy Spirit, I began to understand something many people misunderstand about spiritual transformation.

The evidence of the Holy Spirit is not only in speaking in tongues.

One of the greatest evidences is a transformation of desire.

The things you once chased after begin to lose their appeal. The habits you once defended begin to feel uncomfortable. The lifestyle that once defined you no longer feels like who you are.

It becomes less about struggling with sin and more about losing the taste for it.

You begin to live differently, not just because you are trying to obey rules, but because something within you has changed. Your life begins to operate from a new confession, a new nature, and a new direction.

That is the quiet miracle of salvation.

The Holy Spirit does not only change what you say — He changes what you desire.

And when your desires change, your life cannot remain the same.

Today, when I look back at that young boy who thought body counts were achievements and thought w**d was enjoyment, I realize something powerful:

God did not just save me from sin.

He saved me from a path that could have destroyed my life completely.

And that transformation is one miracle I will never take for granted.

"I was speaking to my son, telling him the things he's supposed to begin to do now that he's 16 in order for him to fulfill destiny. I asked him to choose a day of fasting, so he chose one day: Wednesday.
I explained to him how one day might not be sufficient. I said, 'There's another matter here. Can you see this matter? If you are going to carry this matter along, you need another day. And to be sure that you fasted, before you break the fast, come and meet me; I will lay my hands on you.'
By the time I was his age, I started fasting dry. Please hear me: taking root is intentional. Progress in depth—you will be aware of it. Depth is at a cost; depth is with a price."

Most people learn speaking in tongues from other people and that’s not right!

And because of that the sound changes from generation to generation..

I remember as a scripture Union little boy i learnt “ kurimama sheri mama “ from my mum 🤷🏻‍♂️

But when i truly received the baptism of the Holy Spirit I was surprised the sounds I spoke , it was not kuri mama shri mama”

My point is. : Allow the Holy Spirit to give you utterances. Don’t copy what you hear from others!!

ITS NOT JAMB AND GCE 🤷🏻‍♂️

LET IT BE SAID PLAINLY...

This generation is craving money, platforms, visas, connections, applause.
But what we need cannot be bought. The dollar is too weak to handle demons. It cannot confront the hunger in a dry soul. It cannot silence the torment of the night. It cannot break ancestral chains or stop spiritual arrows.
People are running after comfort,
but demons are not impressed by comfort, they fear power.

We are dressing wounds with success, covering emptiness with wealth, masking spiritual poverty with material noise.
Yet the craving remains because money feeds the body, but only the anointing feeds the spirit.

Principalities don’t bow to currency, powers don’t retreat because of bank balances, darkness does not negotiate with influence, it only responds to fire. What this present age needs is not more money, but more men and women soaked in the anointing. Not more fame, but more power that breaks yokes without explanation.

Let’s go for the anointing that shakes cravings. The power that confronts addiction, depression, fear, lust, and pride. The fire that fills the void success can’t fill. Because when the anointing arrives, desire is re-ordered, hunger is purified, and the soul finds rest.
Let’s go for the anointing not because money is evil, but because power is essential.

This is the hour, not for riches but for power. Not for applause, but for anointing, not for survival, but for dominion.
