This was our Galilee moment — where the Risen Lord met His people again.
At Holy Angels Catholic Church, Angwan Gboko, we gathered in faith and joy to celebrate Galilee Day, a beautiful reminder of Christ’s Resurrection and His abiding presence among us. The celebration began with the Holy Mass, during which the various communities offered their heartfelt thanksgivings to God.
The Blessed Iwene Tansi Igbo Community, St. Gabriel Arewa, St. Patrick South-South, and St. Augustine Tiv Community were all fully represented, adding color, unity, and richness to the celebration. We were also blessed by the presence of our Assistant Parish Priest, Fr. Alex Ezeoke CSSp.
After the Mass, the celebration continued with a vibrant occasion filled with dancing, cultural expressions, and the sharing of different delicacies — a true reflection of our unity in diversity and the joy of the Resurrection.
Indeed, Galilee was not just a place, but an experience of renewal, fellowship, and mission for all.
