TREE PLANTING IN HONOUR OF ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI..
Following today’s Holy Mass, our parish community gathered within the church premises for a meaningful tree-planting exercise in honour of St. Francis of Assisi the patron saint of ecology and a great lover of God’s creation.
Through this beautiful initiative, we are reminded of our responsibility to care for, protect, and preserve the environment entrusted to us by God.
As we plant these trees today, may they grow to provide shade, beauty, and a healthier environment for generations to come..
May the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi inspire us to live in harmony with nature and appreciate the beauty of God’s creation.

A SHEPHERD WHO STANDS WITH HIS PEOPLE.

In the face of the violence, killings, displacement and suffering affecting innocent Christians in the North-East of Nigeria, our Bishop continues to raise his voice for peace, justice and the protection of human life.
During his solidarity visit to the Bishop of the Diocese of Palm Beach, he shared his deep concern over the painful realities faced by our brothers and sisters, particularly Catholic communities living in fear and uncertainty.
This visit reminds us that the Church is one family. When one part of the Body of Christ suffers, we all share in that pain.
May God continue to strengthen our Bishop and all our shepherds as they courageously speak for the voiceless and work for peace.
Let us continue to pray for peace in Nigeria and for all those affected by violence.
