YOU THINK YOU ARE A FAILURE IN LIFE AND MINISTRY?
IF YOU SEE A REAL FAILURE CAN YOU STAND?
YOU ARE JUST SUFFERING FROM THREE THINGS:
1. YOU HAVE A COMPETITIVE SPIRIT:
You are competing with people who may be regretting the very thing responsible for what you think you should have. You are in a competition and not in a commission.
2. UNGRATEFULNESS:
You are an ungrateful fellow.
You don't know where you are is the level some people won't get to until they take their last breath.
3. YOU ARE USING THE TEMPLATE OF MAN AND NOT GOD TO DEFINE SUCCESS:
What success means to a man, may not be the definition of success in the sight of God. I know a 70-year-old man with 500 members who is saying, I am grateful to God I did not stay until I clocked 70. By now I would have been retired from pastoring. At least I have 500 members that I can call my congregation. Another person is 70 years old, and he is saying, I am grateful to God I served faithfully until I got to 70 and was retired by the ministry I served with. He is happy living in his house in the village.
Both of them are not failures, it depends on the template they are using to define ministry success.
You may come and say 500 members at 70 is a big failure. Another person will come and say why will a man serve until retirement age. What will he do after retirement?
You are not their creator.
Think about it.
Be blessed.
