The call to Priesthood is as an election into the highest chamber in a nation.
Not everyone which participated would be elected. But the candidate chosen from among the people, by the people, is given for the people.

Just as the candidate is now in that chamber, not for himself, but as a sign post, pointing to the people he represents.
The same, a Priest of the Most High is not Ordained for himself. He is raised to the Priesthood Office as a representative of the mortals before the immortals.
He is ought to be at the cutting edge of all things partaining to the Kingdom of God and HIS Christ.

Now at any point in time he is found guilty of contradiction; know it that God isn't in a haste to send men. Every man HE sends MUST be known by HIM; fellowship with HIM, know HIS ways, not just HIS acts, and then know HIS voice.

Such man MUST be ready to waste, wasted, and be wasting. Such candidate MUST be ready to wait and waste again and again in the presence of the Lord, even as he keeps being relevant in the neighborhood.

In the School of the kingdom of God, the Holy Ghost is the teacher. Our Lord Jesus called HIM the teacher of TRUTH.
The relationship between the candidate and the Holy Spirit first of all known by the immortals (even the kingdom of darkness).
The resistance scars of their attempts on your life is celebrated in the presence of God; but terrifies the kingdom of darkness.

Such one is a luminary!
Such is the Star that Jesus is Holding in HIS hand in the book of Revelations Chapter 1.

With a grateful heart we the Missionaries Of Jesus The Good Shepherd brings you warmest congratulations on your Episcopal Consecration coming up on the 26th September 2025, as the Auxiliary Bishop of the Central Vicariate. We rejoice in the Divine calling that has led you to this significant responsibility. Your dedication to spreading the Gospel and commitment to the OCAC-Nigeria mandate have been evident in your journey, and we have no doubt that your leadership will inspire and guide the faithful in your Vicariate.

As you embark on this new chapter, may the wisdom and compassion of our Lord guide you. May your ministry be marked by the ancient faith and modern vision that our church embodies. May the Lord grant you skills, knowledge and illumination continually to lead HIS people.

I salute you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus The Good Shepherd Missionary Congregation is of the Old Catholic Apostolic Church (OCAC-Nig).
The Old Catholic Apostolic Church is a Catholic denomination NOT of Roman or Orthodox, but of the independent and self-governing (autocephalous) Christian faith Church. That faith which has been believed everywhere (universal), always (continual and unchanging), and by all which are in Christ Jesus. The pattern of faith, which is our belief system being professed in the Nicene Creed; the seven Sacraments; and Apostolic Succession which was formulated in the Apostolic Synods, and accepted by the Apostolic councils held in the undivided Church of the first One thousand years.

With the conscious of the Original Church's Structure of the Five Patriarchates namely, Jerusalem, Antioch, Alexandria, Rome, and Constantinople, and the need to revive same, is the reason for the Old Catholic Apostolic Church. And on this Revival mandate, OCAC province of Nigeria had given *_Jesus The Good Shepherd Missionary Congregation_* the enfranchisement to accept, admit, form and equip whosoever that wishes to serve the Lord Jesus and HIS Church in the Priesthood order. We therefore exist to fight the fight of Faith to return the entire Catholic world to the Original Christianity (Apostolic Catholicity) as is believed everywhere, always, and by all people.

In JGS Congregation, we lives the community life of Fervent Prayer, Fellowship, Word, and Breaking of Bread as it is in the days of the first Apostles of Jesus Christ: the same is our Charisma, including as it is written in Luke 4:18 ...to preach the Gospel to the poor; to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord".

Jesus The Good Shepherd Missionary Congregation gives admission to whosoever Christ Believing male who wish to serve the Lord and HIS Church in the Priesthood office; and whosoever Believing female who wishes to serve the Lord and HIS Church in the office of a Permanent Deacon.
Age is never a limit in JGS Congregation.

We believe in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And we zeroed on the fact that salvation comes through only Jesus Christ. Our believe is that the Bible is the Word of God, containing all needed for salvation. We accept Apostolic Teachings and Culture of the first Century Church, and rejects every Teaching, practice, and lifestyle that contradict Christianity, the Word of God, Apostolic Doctrine and the Commandment of God.

Celibacy is a choice in OCAC province of Nigeria and JGS Congregation. Our Priest receives the the entire Seven Sacraments of the Church, making us to live the life of Purity, Verity and Focus, being in alignment to the Perfect Pattern Man - Jesus Christ.

Being in Christ Jesus is the continuation of Man's progressive pilgrimage, from death (Adam) into Eternal assured Life.

Jesus The Good Shepherd Missionary Congregation -JGS- is now open for Admission of interested candidates whose call is unto Priesthood.

We are of the Old Catholic Rite.
Admission is open to every Christ Believing son and daughter.
Celibacy is a personal decision to whosoever has the gift.
