TODAY 21ST FEBRUARY 2026,TLBC DEVOTIONAL

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me, the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Acts 20:24

Have you ever asked yourself, “Am I really living for what matters?” Apst. Paul’s words cut straight to the heart: life isn’t about comfort, fame, or being “liked” by the world—it’s about the purpose God gave you.

Right now, God has a task for you, something only you can do. Maybe it’s speaking hope to someone who feels lost, showing love in a place that feels cold, or walking boldly in your calling even when no one applauds. That task? It’s eternal. And every distraction, every fear, every voice telling you to quit is just trying to steal your focus.

Apst. Paul knew life could be hard. He knew suffering could come. But he also knew that finishing what God started in him mattered more than everything else. Today, He’s asking you the same thing: Will you run your race with purpose? Will you let nothing—fear, comfort, or distraction—stop you from the task He’s given you?

This is your life. Your race. And God’s grace is your power. Stop living small, stop waiting for “perfect conditions,” and step into the mission He has for you today

‎TLBC DEVOTIONAL

‎ 1Cor.10:12 “Don't be so naive and self-confident. You're not exempt. You could fall flat on your face as easily as anyone else. Forget about self-confidence; it's useless. Cultivate God-confidence. (MSB)

‎This scripture is a warning against overconfidence.

‎Sometimes we look at others who messed up and think, “I would never do that.” That mindset is dangerous. Not because you’re bad. But because you’re human.

‎The truth is, any of us can fall if we stop depending on God. This verse reminds us that none of us is above falling. Not because we are weak beyond hope, but because we are human. The goal is not to walk in fear. The goal is to walk in awareness.

‎So today, don’t boast in your strength.
‎Be grateful for God's grace. And keep your heart humble. That’s how you remain standing.

‎Every day you stand, it is because God is holding you up. So instead of saying, “I can’t fall,” say, “Lord, keep me standing.”

‎TLBC DEVOTIONAL

‎1Cor. 9:27 “I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified”. (NLT)

‎Have you ever told someone to stay focused, but you were distracted?
‎Or encouraged someone to pray while your own prayer life was struggling?

‎That’s the heart of this verse.

‎Paul is saying: “I don’t just talk about faith. I train for it.” Just like an athlete doesn’t show up on game day without practice, we can’t expect spiritual strength without spiritual discipline.

‎Discipline isn’t punishment. It’s training. ‎It is choosing to pray even when you’re tired. To say no to what feels good but isn’t good for you. To stay consistent when nobody is watching.

See, ‎it is possible to inspire others and still neglect your own growth. It is possible to look strong publicly but be weak privately. And God cares about both.

‎This verse invites us to live aligned where our private life matches our public faith. ‎Because at the end of the day, it is not about how well you preached it, it is about how faithfully you lived it.

‎TODAY, 17TH FEBRUARY, 2026
‎TLBC DEVOTIONAL

‎ Rom.8.33 Who can bring an accusation against God's elect? God is the one who justifies.

‎There are days the loudest voice in your life is accusation.

‎“You’re not consistent enough.”
‎“You should be further by now.”
‎“You call yourself a believer?”

‎Sometimes the voice comes from people. Sometimes it comes from your own mind. ‎But Romans 8:33 asks a powerful question: Who can bring an accusation against you? If God the highest authority has declared you justified, whose verdict matters more?

‎Yes, we make mistakes. Yes, we slip. Yes, we forget. But we don’t live under condemnation.

‎When God justifies you, he isn’t ignoring your flaws, he is declaring that through Christ, you are accepted and made right with him.

‎So when accusation rises, let this drive you back to God, not away from him. And remember that the one who knows you fully is the one who has declared you accepted.

THE LORD AND HIS BRIDE COMMUNITY DEVOTIONAL

Isa.11:1-3 “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears”

There are a lot of ideas in our text above worthy of meditation, the first is how that scriptures declares that the Spirit of the Lord rest upon a man in verse 2, and it goes further to state the resultant effect of this action in verse 3.

It states in clear terms what the Spirit of God does when it rest upon a life: It shapes the character of the man, and then brings structure. This man is prone to discernment and not moved by what he sees, the same man does not react to rumors, but every decision is deeply rooted in divine insight.

Being quick to understand is not mere intellect, it is a programming that aligns with the signals of God, and that every solution this man proffers as touching any issues, God is always present there, because the fear of the Lord here is not dread, but reverence.

Dear Brethren, whenever life feels impossible invite God. Situations don't change until God's spirit becomes present.
